CodyR4 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 So i probably posted this in the wrong spot but no one ever looks at my stuff usually im losing my mind right now, so everytime i start skyrim it has to be from an autosave that is inside then i have to load the save i want. not really a big deal besides the fact it crashes four or five times before i get it right then if i start a sexlab scene or a scene ends or do something like open my magic inventory it crashes again I am usinf the latest versions of ENBseries and Boost as well, i recently installed Devious Devices, after i had unistalled it a while back, this caused some problems. ive tried using LOOT, TES5Edit and Script Scapel to fix my problems, Script Scapel kind of made it worse. Ive done absolutely everything i can do by myself and its just not working idk what im supposed to do in order to come out of this without losing my current save.I put all the information people usually ask for in here. sorry about not putting the spoiler hide/show thing on here i cant remember how to do it. ANGRYWOLVERINE Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 My suggestion for you is to put your pcs mod list on pastebin and have a link set up to it. Go to skyrim modding redditt and read the posting rules carefully. Then ask for help there and make sure you abide by those rules. Some of the people there are pretty stuck up but they and others who come there are knowledgeable and may be able to help you. Your other alternative is to scrap everything.Do a clean reinstall and go to STEP and follow their setup guidelines. Go on youtube and watch gophers and gamerpoets videos although gophers are somewhat out of date. There are other people like Daniel Timko and heisenburg who also have how to videos for modded skyrim. Good luck.

Either erase all content or use spoiler to hide it. @CodyR4 Recently ENB 303 onward has add [THREADS] to help with CTD when load save, you may try adding this (or edit one from 303+) in enblocal.ini [THREADS] DataSyncMode=2 PriorityMode=3 This 2/3 are value that recommended by some user while Boris use 0/1.
Veakabori Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I have the exact same problem. In my case it's caused by More Nasty Critters, when i disable it, i can load the game normally. But it pretty much sucks when i have a character focused around bestiality.
BigOnes69 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Check your Skyrim.ini Skyrimpref.ini and enblocal for changes made to settings. I have had similar problems recently and could not figure it out until then. I dont know what changed my settings but something did. I changed all settings recommended by my enb real vision and everything is back to normal.
WaxenFigure Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 This is actually a long time known bug, the solution has traditionally been to load an earlier working save then load the latest save or to start the game then use the COC command to go to some other cell and then load the save. None of those solutions are required any more, the fix you need is here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/56084-crash-fixes/ Install that and you should be ok again.

The regular version caused endless issues in my game (no matter how well optimized my game was). There are also several cells in the game where SexLab animations malfunction and cause CTDs. The most common for me is Alvor and Sigrid's home in Riverwood.

Generally I find the best way to avoid stuff like this is to run skyrim after every mod you install and test it out. If you find that it crashes, uninstall your last mod. This way there is only one variable. However, despite this, I still have the issue of being unable to load quicksaves randomly. It confuses the hell out of me. I will be able to load them fine for a few weeks after starting a new game, and then suddenly I can't load directly to them, instead having to load a real save and then the quick or auto save. I have yet to figure out what causes this.

Get the patch I mentioned in my message above, it FIXES the damned problem that Bethesda cooked into the game making it so you have to load a "safe" save first.
