Mondo80 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Like the topic says someone made a new tool on nexus http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D25%26preview%3D&pUp=1 It says its a bodyside and outfit studio, for editing and creating (i think) clothes.
CGi Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 it's "new" for FO4, so what he wrote is not completly wrong.
zippy57 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 It's not new for FO4 either. It's been out for over a month now.
maybenexttime Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Depends on the definition of new. What is the definition of new?
zippy57 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 According to Merriam-Webster, the definition of "new" is "recent", the definition of "recent" is "lately", and the definition of "lately" is "recent". So... No help there. Considering the intention of topics such as this one is to call attention to an as-of-yet unheard-of tool, the existence of FO4 Bodyslide threads on this site dating back to the day of its release places it solidly in the "this is not new" category.
herminia Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Nice find but it isn't that new. You should vote for it on the nexus though. A powerful tool like Outfit Studio deserves to be the Top file of the Month more than its competitors, and the NCR Ranger port is about to overtake it.
Outlawer Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Yea it is useful when i trying to port But not a new tool bruh '-'
BringtheNoise Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 LOLerSkates... Yes the latest update is new unless you consider a week or two old as old. But Bodyslide 3 has been around since late Nov, early Dec and is what most people point to when they talk about using... Outfit Studio, or Body Slide, or Convert to FBX load in Maya fix export as FBX load into Outfit Studio and save as nif.... But yeah New is a relative term and actually everything Fallout 4 related is new (as it is less then 4 months old). By the way the 3D Max Nif tools for Skyrim (over at the skyrim nexus page) from version 3.81 or something have support for Fallout 4 (its a New Update). Unfortunately the Maya Nif tools have not been updated yet. Irony is all the tools will need to be updated once the Complete nif format is decoded.... but what we have now can be used to make outfits, weapons, and probably furniture and some other stuff.
