Lewd mods and XCOM 2

So many options, some that have already been mentioned, like the Viper's obvious female attributes. And of course the game really needs some "better" armours!

But the Codex for instance, which is quite obviously "female" in shape (just crying out for a better texture really) has an AoE attack called 'Weapon Malfunction" which has an explosive AoE after 1 turn ... Now something springs to my mind when I read that and then think of Lover's Lab ;) An AoE Orgasm so bad (good?) it renders the soldiers caught in it unconscious? They might not want to move!

Let's also talk about Shen! She has a face like a cats arse! It looks like she just gave her first BJ and didn't like the taste. Please can we get a "Beautification" mod for Shen?

what the fug

Shes pretty girl, not all girls are supposed to look like bimbo tattooed sluts with botox. If you find that beautiful welp , you gotta grow up from this stuff someday.

Also she seems to be a Chinese and all Chinese have flat face , not including those who did facial surgery which is very common.

Maybe I got older but she looks pretty attractive to me.

its k im relaxed

People could use skyrim's CBBE ( highly customizable shapes ) and port it to the xcom2, no point of creating shitty nude texture mods.

You know what I mean, first nude mods are always terrible at quality.

*looks at Shen*

*looks at cat's arse*

*looks at cat*

"This is going to be the beginning of a beautiful new relationship."

*gets scratched*

"Nope. Still the same relationship."

...

Seriously, you and Dagren both need to check yourselves. I find Shen pretty hot, and her attitude is even hotter. Remember, everyone finds something else attractive. Telling people to grow up because you don't agree ... means you need to grow up.

Everytime I see this thread bumped I get excited

Not picked up the DLC yet, but will get it when we see our glorious modders do wonderful things with it

hello, i am interested in making mods for this game, what tool would i need to make models and animations for this game???

It's an Unreal Engine 3 game, so whatever you would need for that.

Hello,

There is an SDK (Software Development Kit) for XCOM 2 - It's based on the Unreal Engine SDK I believe - and comes with a huge (around 50Gb i think?) store of assets to help people create mods. For the Models and Animations, you would need a 3D modeling program such as 3DS Max or Blender, though I'm not sure what format the files in XCOM 2 are or how hard they are to make/change.

@ Dagren

My Apologies, I probably should clarify  ... In the several cutscenes, Shen is indeed quite attractive enough, with nice facial expressions, but those can't be altered (I don't think?) I was referring to her game engine rendered appearance when she stands in the Workshop (next to the item build window) At least on my monitor (21") her expression is definetly NOT attractive at all.

Oh , I also wanted to post a warning to anyone who wants to use NotBob's totally fantastic mod (~ page 4 of this thread?) There are several problems I've discovered ...

 - Always make sure to leave a full squad erm ... off duty ... so that you can field a team for actual, you know, missions. I had to recruit a rookie during my first new playthrough with this mod (could only afford 1 ) and do the first "rescue the Engineer" mission with only 2 soldiers, because all the other girls were out ... dating.

- I ended up with dozens of "spare" soldiers and 1000's of resources, due to my zeal as an XCOM pim... err, Commander.

- I now have a Barracks with about 25 "soldiers" ready to rank up to Colonel, because all of the horny tarts have spent the last several months (in game time) shagging Aliens! And thus have hunder... A LOT of "conquests" to their names..

However it does make the early game scrounge for resources a s**t tonne easier :)

If someone made a bunch of mods that circulated around my interests with this game, I would most certainty go out and buy the game.  XD Heard it's a good game anyways, but yeah... ^-^

Me too, really hoping someone skillful enough to make that happen.

Well, you can make a fairly passable Lara Croft with the DLC, and some Fallout 3/NV/4'esque Raider's ( in fact they look almost copy/pasted from FO) but that's about it. It's gonna need someone with 3D knowledge and skills to really make them better.

Unless the 5bucks for the DLC isn't an issue for you, or you really, really want 1 tank top and 1 pair of shorts, then I wouldn't bother yet. Get one of the free mods that allows you to wear, Advent and/or Civilian clothing for the time being. (Actually some of the civilian clothing is quite sexy = Tight pants and heels/boots etc, and some nice suits for males)

The only problem is, most of them are one piece body replacers, so you can't mix and match with armour pieces.

No problem ... Apparently it is quite a powerful modding tool, and gives you the ability to change pretty much everything in game, provided you understand the "code" and Unreal scripting of course.

I've heard that "adding" new graphical content, such as armours, helmets etc. is pretty easy, but the scripts for abilities, and other game stats can be quite daunting.

Is anyone making any progress? If so could you let us see the progress, please?shy.gif

I Second this and once again offer my services as tester!

Sadly there doesn't seem to be a lot of activity surrounding this game, now that the "novelty" of a new XCOM game has worn off. The nexus, which is one of the largest repositories and "go to" sites for mods is all but lifeless, and even the stuff on the steam workshop is primarily half arsed voice packs and old mods that came out in the first month or so.

Perhaps the "audience" for this game is more 'niche'? Or are people just not seeing any replayability in the game due to the 'meh' AI, the crappy RNG system, and mostly the woeful lack of game engine optimization? I was a HUGE fan of the original UFO:Enemy Unknown and played 1000's of hours of it, but it seems the "dumbing down" of the game to appeal to the masses has removed something from the game.

Despite the purportedly excellent and versatile SDK / modding tools, there doesn't seem to be much interest.

What dumbing down?

The AI's hardly worse, and RNG was in EU too. The optimization is shit but that's about it.

It's odd you're not bitching about the setting and artstyle, since that's where EU was actually far better. 2 lends itself more to porn mods in that regard, though.

He was talking about the original Xcom games, not the 2012 reboot.

Slightly off-topic, but has anyone figured out how to make Character Pool characters promote into the class you pick for them in-game, instead of the game choosing randomly?
