Lewd mods and XCOM 2

Recommended Posts

Like what the previous poster said, I too would prefer less nudity, more skimpier outfits and some footwear. The sweat pants and ninja pants seems out of place as most of the torso I find doesn't appear to go well with it. The daisy dukes has one with distracting pubic hair and the other with slight thong clipping. Beyond that, the bikinis are great but could have add some accessories like a tactical harness, ammo belt, thigh holsters and boots to give that paramilitary theme. With a bit of immersion and Hideo Kojima's style of logic, your soldiers aren't in swimwear for beach parties but for killing aliens. Some quick google search yield some references below.

Other than that, I'm not sure if there is any way of getting bare arms without purchasing the godawful Anarchy's Children but it would be great if there's a variation of bare arms mod based on the Kevlar and Resistance armor by removing the shoulder guards, and maybe add a cloth armband, armband with knife, bandages, etc.

Hi gang,

I am still suffering from the missing pelvis for the warden armor issue.

I understand what causes it as several of you have explained well. The pelvis piece is controlled by the torso for that armor, but controlled by the legs for others.

After reading through the thread and downloading latest versions, I still can't tell. Is there a real fix for this? Where it happens I can change the torso so that it adds a pelvis piece, but then there are so may cool torso pieces that I cannot use with those legs.

Thank you for your help and patience.

Love the mods (altough i am staying away from the Lewdlily and the avenger clerk baremod, i dont care much about them :P) but i would have to kindly request two things: Bigger breasts mod and Futanari

bigger than D Coup?

Bigger! And with bra or other small clothes options if possible

Also, i have to ask, anybody know of a mod that "gives" a pants like the one from quiet from MSG?

Imgur won't serve the image if LL is the referer. If you're on Chrome get this. Not sure what to suggest if you're on some other browser.

That's easy. a quick search in Firefox Addons for "Referrer", gives several options, top search is

Referrer Control

If your browser has any addons, try that same search there. if not simply use the LoversLab attachment system.

You can use GIMP. or IrfanView to reduce the size (but qualiy is usually also reduced) files that are to large, Uncompressed JPG are much smaller than PNG, and you can use compression as well.

So I have good news and bad news:

Good 1: BareBareMod now has pretty much seamless everything, I personally still get mild aliasing on the seams sometimes, may have to do with forced aliasing on my part. Modified some textures and mild mesh editing (and removed leftover textures from the other bodies), but you'll probably not notice. (Sorry Kexx, it's only the legs though, and the last body edit I'll do for a long time) attachicon.gifBarebaremod V3.zip

Bad 1: No new body, original new body pretty much broke after trying to fix lighting issues, body 2 was me modifying the base xcom body and adding details.....which allowed me to learn that adding any new vertex by tessellation breaks the tattoo system (and once again no idea why, but the parts which disappear correlate to where the body part is skinned to different bones).

Good 2: BareBareMod now has double copies of each body part (arms/torso/legs), one set allowing tattoos, one set disabling them, the ones that allow are usually higher on the list than the ones that dont. Here's some test tattoos mapped only for torso or legs. attachicon.gifmootattats.zip

attachicon.gif20160614193028_1.jpgattachicon.gif20160615185133_1.jpgattachicon.gif20160614201224_1.jpg

Btw to anyone doing tattoos, for torso or legs only, it's easier to do the tattoo mapping using the torso or leg textures as a base and work from there.

Bad 2: This system only really allows proper tattoo mapping on either the arms OR torso OR legs, although the old system still works e.g. Arcturus' tattoo mod still works if you choose all the body parts that supports tattoos.

Good 3: After trying and failing to set up some hair (anyone know why all hair I export, even unedited X2 ones from both max and blender, show up in game rotated 90 degrees in 2 directions if any physics assets are applied to them?) physics assets are actually really easy to set up (on creatures anyway, I can set those up fine) and all creature/unit archetypes can have a physics asset attached (body physics).

Bad 3: There doesn't seem to be a slot for physics on body/armour parts, although the helmet slot does, not that it helps much in this case.

Either I'm missing something or this mod is broken now. I've loaded it up and nothing, literally, there isn't anything. Using the custom mod launcher btw.

Are there any dependencies or incompatibilities?

I don't know where to start with diagnosing problems with the xcom2 system.

Edit: On a hunch I tried going through steam and using the default launcher and what da know, it works.

Anyone know why? and if it can be fixed?

Merry Christmas everybody!

Here's an assortment of all kinds of goodies, split into 3 packs. If you already had my previous Torso and Leg pack, just delete those and use these instead. Don't worry, previous content is still here.

This does it for my lewd modding for the remainder of the year. I'll be back in 2017 hopefully with some cool updates!

Happy holidays everybody!

Torso Pack 2.0

EDIT: Can't upload more than 100MB, and I can't seem to post again after myself, so funny enough, we'll have to wait for someone else to replay, so I can post the Leg Pack.

Just wanted to say how awesome your work is, love these mods.  Like some others I'm not as inclined to having actual naked people on missions, but the option is nice to have. :)

The not strictly naked stuff I really dig, like your props.  Would be nice to see the varying chest sizes in some of the other outfits (not sure why every female soldier on the Avenger is a B cup... very odd... I think ADVENT is to blame!)  I understand that would be a lot of work to do everything in every breast size from A to D (essentially 4 copies of everything) which is completely unrealistic to expect, just wondering if a little more variety is possible?

T-shirts and halter tops with pokies would be a definite request. :)

For the legs, the various bikini options with boots would be good, plus more shorts options (daisy dukes, cut offs, that sort of thing).  Also: jeans.

Also, the full pubic hair looks... odd.  Usually I expect to see a triangle, not a round tangle.  But, on the other hand, I know from experience that actually drawing public hair as a triangle that doesn't just like a coloured piece of paper stuck on front is hard, so... can't criticize too much.  ;)

As a note, I'm an older guy, so I prefer women to have pubes and not look like prepubescent children, or Barbie dolls (in this context that is exactly what they would look like, a Barbie doll).  So kudos to you for making the effort to include pubic hair at all.

Anyway, those are my requests.  Whatever you do is of course your call, and I'm sure I will download it.  :D

Hi folks

Ive got a working prototype of my Faces of XCom 2 mod for those of you whom would like to try it out.

Keep in mind this is an early v0.1 version so its still kinda rough and somewhat unfinished / polished. No major bugs or anything but  just something to be aware of.

<snip>

If anyone runs into any issue, no matter how small, please let me know. This is the first XCom2 Mod I have made after all.

Great work for a first pass!  Love to see more faces for the characters.

Only complaint, their skin colour is a little off, it's not noticeable when wearing lots of armour, but when more skin is visible it become more obvious.  I think their base is a little too dark, so when the game adjusts it by the skin tone you pick at the time, it always seems a teeny bit off.  Maybe try lightening the base skin tone?

I don't know visual modding worth shit, so that's just my thought.

Otherwise, good work, hope to see more.

Question for those out there that do graphics and meshes... why no skirts?

Is there something that makes a skirt not viable, maybe clipping issues.

I ask because I was thinking the movie version of Jill Valentine might be fun to have in the game.

I was going to include an image, the board didn't like it.  Anyway, just google Jill Valentine movie if you aren't sure what I'm talking about - it's the blue halter top and black skirt outfit.  The character wore a similar outfit in the earlier games, although of course she had D cups because they always do.

So a skirt with boots, and she is apparently wearing pantyhose too - that's optional (as are her panties :) )

And the tank top too.  And of course for maximum utility, they should be able to have their colour changed, is this viable, or not workable?

Also, another suggestion, leotards.

Many super-heroines wear them, as do fighting anime girls (I think, don't really watch anime) so it would seem a logical thing to include.

And because we are talking lewd mods... pokies!  :D

And finally, yet another suggestion, cat suits for the same reason as the leotards.  Plus, if you are going to make a Black Widow character (comic or Scarlett Johansson) you need the catsuit!  :D

(I really need to learn to do graphic work...)

I am genuinely shocked that, by now, there hasn't been more porn mods for xcom2

It's not a simple matter to put animations into the game. The mod tools are based around adding items and maps and adjusting stats, not adding outright new content. Making an armor piece or a gun is one thing because it's a different look for an existing type of thing, but adding something that was never there in the first place takes a ton of effort. Even the Workshop mods haven't added anything truly new other than the drone in LW2, and even that, with the talent at Pavonis, feels amateurish compared to Firaxis' stuff.

The basic problem is, modders don't have access to the core code.  As you say, changing the appearance of stuff, tweaking the nature of things, these are all simply variables, or in some cases an external object the game is intended to call - but in a limited way (e.g. voice files), this can be done.  But to outright alter the nature of how the game works, that can't be done because that would require changes to compiled code.  And even if a modder can hack access to that (not as easy as it sounds), I very much doubt Firaxis would approve of someone releasing 'patches' on their code.

Frankly I'm impressed by what has been done with LW2, especially on the Strategic Layer, it shows how clever use of those variables and settings can do creative things.

But yes, the flying box of the recon drone is pretty low rent.  Although perhaps not out of character for the ADVENT side.

I used to think the same about me3 mods then someone figured out how to make mods act like DLC :) I get why things are a PITA for modders, I'm just surprised this game hasn't gotten over those hurdles yet.

ME3 never got anything more complex than nude and skimpy mods either though... I kept hoping it would happen, but I feel like Bioware really clamped down on modding after 'Better Sex Cutscenes' happened for Dragon Age: Origins.
