ork bretton havent .esp why?

oops , my mistake.

I'll get a hotfix right away

Curiousity peaked. Does this work with MBP all in one and TGND body as well? Also does blockhead need to be individually tweaked in anyway, or just need the plug in installed, the mod page varies between gibberish and intimidating technical details;)?

havent tested it it works with MBP but if you're thinking about the other none vanilla races I think they might together if OCR is loaded last.

You only need to have the blockhead plugging for it to work properly.

- Hotfix for missing esp file for Orc and breton race

- Redguard race added (male gender  is unfinished)

- Argonian race added (male gender  is unfinished)

redguard and argonian is uploaded if anyone is interested in testing it , they are a bit unfinished so just take it with a grain of salt

Thanks then....mayhaps I will drop this in right away. Rebuilding my oblivion install this evening anyways, as it has been lying alone for some time now.

Well, after installing the argonian race, the head of the female aroganin is invisible.

Redguard body textures are also purple/missing.

Cheers :)

Haven't tried the unfinished races...sorting with Boss doesn't recognize these plugins, and they have no suggested bash tags, what if any should I add when rebuilding the bashed patch? Going to launch as is and see how it goes I guess.

Not gettng any face textures for nords at all. Grabbed the meshes and textures and dropped them in manually, reset archive validation, still no face textures for the nords (black face as it were). Everything else seems to be working.

Edit: I also tried dropping the nord esp under the bashed patch also, after manually installing the meshes/textures. Still no nord face textures.

Thank You for mod, but for Nord race - Meshes and Textures folders both contain mesh files for head and mesh files for hairs... Argonian race folders both contain texture *.dds files

I will see if I can get these issues fixed soon.

I haven't really done any testing myself on the files so I pretty much knew this was going to happen.

I appreciate the feedback

Argonian heads for both male and female are missing. Reason is due to the fact that the Mesh directory contains textures.

Nords are missing textures. You have meshes in the textures directory.

Only tested this for a few minutes but they look good. Love the Orcs. What hair styles you use on them?

Switched up to just orcs for the moment, these are working fine for me. All elves are lop eared is that right? Is there any chance for long eared elf versions, I do like this headmesh much better.

I was probably drunk or something when I uploaded the nord , argonian and redguard races  but I have re-uploaded them again with the missing textures

*May you please share you ENB files with me. Would like to get similar results as your screenshot.

its a tweaked version of the "tweaked ENB"

I'm planning adding more options for the races later once I have all the races uploaded.

Awesome news. Looking forward to seeing the whole thing in action. I think I might dump MBP when these are done.

This looks fantastic so far! One question though, as someone who has been using the first Oblivion Character Overhaul (at nexus) for a while now, how do I safely transition to this one? Or, if this is still a WIP, should I simply wait?

Posted

Could someone please post some pics of the Redguards and Argonians?

I'm waiting until all the races are complete so I can drop OCO, but I'd just like to see what they look like for now

I haven't deleted it, I just forgot to add it on the first page.

It's under the download link for the orc race.

I'll see If I can add some pics for those when I have the time.

been quite busy with IRL stuff these days so I haven't got the time to do much with the mod.

Sorry! I meant this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/43612/?

That mod doesn't come with a readme so I'm a bit unsure how to install it. This isn't the right place to ask that, but I was wondering if installing these plugins over the mod I just linked would be fine, or not.

I personally wouldn't try without a backup.

OCO contains a feature list in the description which tells you it contains various files like age maps and egt files, which can (and quite probably will) cause issues if this mod does not also have those files (if both mods use the same file structure).

Just my two cents.

@The Mad God

sometimes my brain just goes derp and I don't bother to read correctly and instead goes answering on a completely different question.

let me try again answering it.

I don't know how compatible my mod will be with other race mods but I'm planning testing it soon to see what results I get.

safe to say this mod isn't even half way done and there is a lot of stuff that will probably get changed in the future.

In the meantime the mods are there for people to test it.

I am rebuilding my install now and will try all these plugins without any other race mods, since the nord one has now been fixed. The Orc mod seemed to work just fine with MBP all in one omod however I stuck it right at  thee bottom of the load order just before the bashed patch and tagged it nomerge and import npc faces in wyre bash, just to be sure. Those seemed to be the most important tags, to ensure orc npcs would get the changes you intended for them.
