Request CBBE mods Player only.

Hi can anybody help me with making the mods I've installed player only? I want the NPCs to have default bodys and for me to have the all the mods I've installed to affect me. ( Cuz I'm playing as a pregnant woman and I dont want all the female NPCs walking around / laying nakied when I loot them).

I just don't know how to go about it since I don't know what I'm doing. I know I've got to use the Unique Player mod but as for doing something with it I don't know how to combine it with the CBBE + CBBE innies + Bodyslide + CBBE moded clothing.

Any Ideas?post-259495-0-49043800-1451508911_thumb.pngpost-259495-0-83971400-1451508922_thumb.png

Did you try http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3718? It lets you use unique meshes/textures for the player character. I would make a copy of your preg mesh first, then make what mesh you want the rest of the npcs to use and just move the mesh you want to the proper folder.

+1 to this^. Currently the best way to go for now. Just know that even when using Unique Player that the armor shapes will still be for everyone. The only way to get around that is to use a mod that adds a custom unique outfit and replace it with one you like using your pregnant body.

Install should go:

- Install CBBE Main mod

- Install Unique Player.

- Move only the body & hand files you want for your character into the folders Unique Player adds.

- Leave the rear head and face parts where they are.

Ahh Ok, lovley. I've managed to make my self the only pregnant person now :)

I'll upload it incase anybody want it. attachicon.gifUniquePlayer - Pregnant.rar

I've got the .NIF files for some pregnant armor but I don't know how to make it player only. Will I need GECK or something now?

attachicon.gifPregnant CBBE Cury Armor.rar

Mmmm craftable custom combat armor permit you to craft armor never used by npc, so if you don't mind not having your custom body till you modify your equipment, it could be doable.

Yeap, it`s my dream - mod to change model and clothes for player only. Unique Player - it`s really good mod for a texture player body, but, not good for other. May be one day...

But, how about race mod - did that solves this problem?

Nope, you need outfit modders to make the unique verson first

So why don't you just put on a unique outfit that nobody else wear it

Well, because - when i found some cool clothes in dead body NPC i want to wear it ;) heh, may be you right and i need to wear only modified clothes, but it not so interesting. Well, may be some modders can change some in game mechanic - when you crate you model in Race Menu - you can set slider in unproved value - and that build you unique body... lol - something like that. All I can do now is keep waiting (sorry for my english).

Yeah I hope one day CBBE/Bodyslide incorporates the player and companions as separate bodyslide presets to the other NPC's.

The issue lies with Fallout 4 reusing the same mesh for all character meshes (except certain distinct NPC's such as A.D.A. from the Mechanist DLC). I doubt Bodyslide will be changed to add this, as it can interfere greatly with many other custom mods (it's also out of the scope of the bodyslide project).

The single best solution for this is to use an existing mod such as the unique character mod, or take any custom armor and use that as body (e.g. equip it in game), then replace the nif files with your custom .nif (built with bodyslide).

Yeah but if it was done by CBBE/BodySlide creating copy folders for the player and NPC's it would become a standard anyway.

But that's a feature already, building custom named nifs using bodyslide. Not much different between copying a custom nif and a folder.

The real work is in the ESP changes that need to be made by the modder anyway, that part can't be handled by bodyslide, due to mod conflicts.

Yeah but CBBE/Bodyslide could automatically do it if it specified the custom folders for the meshes. External esps can not create those NPC folders and then Bodyslide them, no esps needed, any esp referencing those NPCs could just have to add a CBBE version pointing to the new folders. The worst that would happen is people would not get bodyslide versions of those NPCs, but that happens now anyway.

Doing them manually means everyone uses different folder names as happens now with unique player etc, pure chaos that many people don't want to get involved in.

I don't think I understand what I'm doing, I followed the instructions but realized I have no idea what folder it adds...so I ended up with a weird mesh where my underwear (That I shouldn't have because I have CBBE) is over laid on top of my CBBE body but...in all kinds of random places, IE My bra is like halfway on my arm etc.
I just guessed the folder based on "oh that looks new"
