Darkening Demise Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Bannerlord hype cash grabs are nothing new. Just like DayZ cash grabs, COD cash grabs, and even Fallout cash grabs. Con artists see quick money by releasing shady products that are similar let alone a blantent rip off of a product and its hype. I prefer singleplayer oriented games, never cared of multiplayer and besides that if you want multiplayer go play COD. A perfect example of why multplayer sucks in general right there.

Devious Dingbat Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 I'm unbelievably excited for this game. I've only been playing Warband for a year but it's already my most played Steam game. Even more than modded Skyrim (Blasphemy!) Honestly I really hope they fix some clipping bugs and AI more than anything else, but the siege mechanics look massively improved. Â Am I the only one who just saved up enough to buy a brewery (Or any business) then sat back and let the money come in. Once I'd saved enough I expanded my empire then got the biggest army possible and took the crappiest castle possible. That's how I play EVERY game. =P
Darkening Demise Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 I stopped with Warband too dated, clunky, and broken. Bannerlord fixes many issues I've had with Warband. My favorite thing is sieges and Warband singleplayer ones are pathetic, even multiplayer gets better stuff and now that's all coming into the singleplayer portion of the next game. Such as multiple ways to siege the castle, destryong the gate, opening the game from inside, using the gate wheel to open it. My only concern is AI really anymore. If you noticed in the latest video they all swarm the gate even though they had ladders and ramp to climb. They could've attacked the walls too taking out the few soldiers and surrounded those at teh gate to finish them all off. Also how long do you think the multiplayer will last and what modes will be most played? In Warband I hardly see anyone online and most are not into sieges. Could care less about Napoleonic Wars.

We'll see if they learned from their mistakes or if the combat needs to be tweaked for another 20 years. Â

Though I hope we get it in 2017. Fortnite, State of Decay 2, and Bannerlord in one year....I'm going broke yet will be enjoying my no life life.
