memison Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 So I enjoyed skyrims Tera armour mods. I used a different set for every quest for better immersion. Going from the sexy slinky stealth assassin of the black hand, and retiring the set for the scantily clad warrior type swinging her two handed sword sword through hordes of the enemies of the companions.I feel fallout needs the same, but Tera is not exactly the right genere to draw from. Therefore, before the release of the new geck, I'd like to plant for any modders consideration the idea of in infamous "scarlet blade", or "queens blade" to our eastern brethren.Think of it! It's got the futuristic feel, and if anyone feels adventurous, they even have mechs that could be new sets of power armour. I'm well aware of how long it'll be until anything like this will come to fruition, but I figured I'd plant the idea, nice and early to get any feedback, or to see how much interest is generated by my idea.
Revuu Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I'm not a fan of modding all female Power Armor to be skimpy. Sometimes, I REALLY want to be a walking tank, for immersions sake... But immersion fails when I'm crouching in a corner, somehow sneaking around while wearing more than a Smart Car. It'd be awesome to have a sleek, revealing mech for a uniquely modelled suit of Power Armor (maybe same stats as normal PA, just different skin) for just those occasions. Available in catsuit, latex, revealing and nude versions, of course! TL:DR; Yes please, Queen's Blade stealth Power Armor. Second suit, second row!
Koffii Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 That's assuming it's at all possible to make such a thing as skimpy power armor. The game hides the body when you climb in. This is most easily seen if you climb in while wearing a dress.
warbaby2 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I'd rather have some more "realistic" power armor... masamune shirow's works come to mind there.

That way you don't have to worry about matching skin colour, and you can always put some metal plate-boobs on to hide any boob size differences.
memison Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 I was thinking of shortcuts. Like when the suit is empty, the slot is free, and when the character is in it, a generic body would be places in it. You can't really see the faces on the mechs, and it'd mean any custom skins would suffer, but why over complicate it by forcing a mesh and custom skin inside it. To be honest, I'm more after fighting bodysuits. The mecha/power armor was more of an afterthought. I wanna play scarlet blade again.....only have it actually fun....like in fallout.

Plz leave logic aside, and think more about the porn.
Halstrom Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 If you can make 2,3 & 4 with normal sized heads it would be great
Starteller Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 With the "Unique Player" mod you can make it for only the player character nexus mods. com/fallout4/mods/3718/?
DarkLordofOverkill1 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 it's an excellent source for skimpy armor stuff, but like anything else the power armor angle is going to need to wait for the tools to be released before anything more than nebulous planning and silly arguments can be done with it. as someone who has played scarlet blade i'd LOVE to see those armor types show up in fallout, the ones with more coverage as variant (female only) vault suits particular to certain vaults, while the more revealing ones could be "advanced tech" from various institute of old prewar projects. perhaps even a "prisoner" or "examination" suit if someone wants to mod in something like a smaller version of mothership zeta. again just an additional handful of ideas to go with this (in my opinion) excellent suggestion
memison Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 Yes darklord!!! Someone agrees with me on the costumes. Honestly the power armor was an afterthought, but it's what everyone seems to have fixated on. I felt like fallout 3 and new Vegas armours were literally only fashionable, or full on lingerie. The Tera armour of skyrim hit that mid way point, that had elements of "armoured lingerie" which I could justify battling trolls in. I want my "powered battle thong" for fallout 4 to destroy all those pesky raiders in, while feeling sexy as fuck at the same time. I played scarlet blade, but it's generally a standard tab bashing mmo, same as the rest. The sexy girls, in skimpy ass armour (and a purchasable underwear remover) was about the only hook it had over any other mmo. I want the hook to be applied to a game that isn't a chore to play. Still! The creation kit is on its way. No point crying at being ignored until it's here.
alucrad90 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 scarlet blades ^-^ If I have no mistakes the engine of this game was unreal 3 and was crack already
DarkLordofOverkill1 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 scarlet blades ^-^ If I have no mistakes the engine of this game was unreal 3 and was crack already if thats the case, then those with the skills should be able to get the outfit files relatively easily for conversion once the programs are availible. good news indeed. too bad i am NOT one of those with the skills
jancicc Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Why not aim for Sisters of Battle from Warhammer 40k as well? that armor could work as power armor, and looks sexy/badass too.

I have no doubt in my mind that a Warhammer total conversion will happen, requested or not. I'm trying to think a little outside the box.
Buddy16 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I guess the biggest problem for power armor variety will be the power armor frame
alucrad90 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I'd rather have some more "realistic" power armor... masamune shirow's works come to mind there. The old lady-killer and cyberpunker OK I've to say the problem is that we can not get masamune shirow's works in 3D model form...
knoFear Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Queen blade outfit's are pretty low poly and low texture resolution(most are 512). Another thing is almost a large portion of most outfits are attached to the body. Cut out the outfit probably work, but the texture resolution are just too damn low. See pic If you doesn't necessary need a 1 to 1 port, rebuild most of the meshes, and re-texture it should be doable. I play around with the shoulder pad, and try to rebuild it, take about 30 minutes. I guess some experience modder should be able to rebuild the whole outfit.

Which means it would be a perfect resource to repalce the vanilla outfit so you can beat sexy guners everywhere A little _m texture improve will lead to good outlook

I mostly use request forums to spitball ideas with people, and see if anything sticks. I figure you don't have much intention of carrying this on, but besides my own drawings, this is the furthest i ever seen any of my ideas coming to fruition. That's made me happier then it really should.
Snazzishoez Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 It may take years, but I have very high hopes for the modding community to really do something impressive with the Power Armors. There has to be hundreds of ideas floating around and with time I think some mod authors will impress with what can be made with some effort, skill and imagination. There's a lot I hope to see come down the line, but I'm mostly waiting to see what can be done with Power Armors.
