You are on your own, @Guineaux I assume, your best bet is to review the code. You'll have  to rewrite parts of it, and at that point I would just use this mod as a guide and recreate in SE.  This is one of the reasons I haven't moved over to SE, and probably never will. My 32bit game is VERY stable with 202 mods, looks stunning, and rarely crashes. So why would I move?

I was planning to make conversions of all mods of fabris but I got really confused after the black face bug in the convertion of SkyHunks. And as my own current run of SkyrimVR is mostly without sex mods I forgot. And I got stuck in converting Cocksmen because the quest will not start (but the NPCs re OK so that's something). But I'm definitely planning to go back to converting within the next few weeks.

 

Looking at the requirements of this mod what needs to be done is to remove the requirement for USLEP, re-save the mod in CK and export the facegen for the NPCs (which is the part that takes more time and effort).

 

1. Remove the requirement for USLEP:

Get a copy of USLEP and put it in your DATA dir (yes, put the oldrim's mod .esp into the /data of SSE). Start CK and select to open this mod, but don't open it. On the rigt side there will be a list of all masters. Select USLEP and press Ctrl + Del. That's all. 2. Resave the mod:  Unpack the BSA.  Open the esp in CK and click the floppy disk icon.

 

3.  Instal the mod and test it in SSE. NPCs will probably have black faces. Open the mod in CK, open the list of the NPCs and find the ones that have stars. You will need to press Ctrl + F4 while selecting each one of them.

In this case they all have names starting with SMC. We only need to export facegen for the humanoids (I think).

This is the general workflow. You don'r need to look at the code and rewrite. It is possible for specific mods there will be additional things to do.

 

For this specific mod I have no idea what to do with NOS Pierced Ears as it has no "official" SSE pot.

 

 

Added: I did most of the work this morning but had to leave for work. Will check tonight if I can gather the updated files and upload a WIP convertion.

You can export more than one facegen at the same time (at least in the old ck you could). Just select all the NPC's names while you are in the Actor folder (in the CK panel), while selected press ctrl+4. Easy.

 

So if this works, just removing USLEEP, then good. That means there isn't much editing required. But one question, why have USLEEP in the first place? If all it is is related, and nothing is used from it, then why have it at all in the oldrim mod?

I would test the shit of out of this. Wouldn't surprise me if it an asset (or call) to USLEEP is used someplace in the code.

Yes, that's what I did, but I wanted to make the explanation more clear (and I was still sleepy).

 

I don't know why USLEP is required, I always assumed ffabris wanted to popularize "modding best practices" and this is a way to force people to do something good for themselves. In my test this morning I removed it and the pierced ears as requirements and will try to run the mod without them ( I did the changes but haven't tested it in the game yet). Since it is all happening in one cell it will be easier to spot problems.

 

I also dropped the requirement for SLAroused as I use FGAroused and think/hope it will still work.

Would appreciate somebody testing this in SSE:

I have made some assumptions when removing several masters:

1. USLEEP - I have not added a requirement for the SSE version of the patch in order to allow easier use in SkyrimVR.

2. NOS pearced ears - I don't think there is an SSE conversion of that mod and I assume that nothing will actually break if it is skipped. I might be wrong.

3. SL Aroused - removed the requirement in order to allow the use of FG Aroused. I assume that both Aroused mods can be used and it will work. So whichever you use it should be OK. I might be wrong.

 

 

I would appreciate somebody testing this and if it is OK I can convert the other 2 clubs.

It's been a while since I looked at it, but I don't think SLA is required for anything but a hard cock. I seem to remember the event (sex between NPC's) is timed, not linked to SLA.  So the other one should work fine.  I modified this mod to suit my needs eons ago.. but I'm willing to open it back up and have a look see if you'd like.

I'll give it a try. I haven't experienced a catastrophic crash in a while so maybe my luck will hold out.

For whatever reason, the archive didn't play nice with Nexus Mod Manager so I had to re-pack it before trying it. 

Unfortunately, the only script that seems to do what it is supposed to is the auto-undress script for NPCs. Reducing scan time to the minimum had no bearing on whether or not random sex events would occur.

It went about the same as when I tried to do a straight port (or rather direct port).

Were the random sex interactions tied to arousal level somehow?

[edited]  I did some debugging and here is what I can find.



If you enable the debug of SMC it will tell you that the scan is getting canceled because "Player location ref type not MensClubSexAreaLocRefType". This happens after

 

bSexArea = PlayerRef.GetCurrentLocation().HasRefType(MensClubSexAreaLocRefType)

where bSexArea is false.

 

Here is what MensClubSexAreaLocRefType is:

I seem to remember NMM doesn't like rar files, but I have forgotten about this and  don't have 7zip on my PC. Are .zip files OK?

I think the SSE versions of the arousal mod do not work with SOS - the line that sends the animation events to SOS is commented out. I made some updates to my copy of FG Aroused o send random arousal events every 2 minutes and I'm thinking if I should upload it.

It can be done, yes. Replace them, rebake the facegens.

I did this. In fact, I added a couple of elves too the bathhouses, save Windhlem.  Also lighten the skin, and made sufficient facial/body changes.

Greetings,    Having an issue downloading the mod..  instead of a Bsa. rar file all three  download as a txt file:  Riften Men&#39.txt as an example.  Would love to play the mod if feasible,  but realize you have moved on to other things.

Thanks.  Not sure why it didn't  work  as I had not encountered this issue until now, or how/why it was fixed,  but the problem was fixed at my end by redirecting the download back to the downloads folder rather my desktop (which is my wont when I'm installing  stuff) .  Best to you  and BTW  I love the artwork you did for Cocksmen.

Grey face always happens because you have some other mod overriding the NPCs appearance. Often, it happens when you have one mod as a BSA, and the other as loose files; loose files always take precedence. So, see what mods you have that use loose files, that may be conflicting.

After checking your mod (and maybe)moving the bath house down in your mod order, go into the CK, load up this mod, find the bath house men, Select them all, then hit CTRL-F4 and save all the data. Try it then. Also a good way to modify  the men, if you want.

Hi, some of the options in the MCM are grayed out and I'm unsure how to activate them. Things like auto-stripping player and allowing visitors, both things I would like. You say the mod is finished so they won't be added later, which means something isn't right, or they are options you can't change until after you've first found the location. Do you think you can help?

As the mod description says:

"This mod has an MCM which allows you to configure a variety of options. Most become available only when you join the club, or later become the manager, as applicable."

 

After you become the manager (several in-dame days after joining) al options should be available.

i'am member and manager of soliitude bathhouse,have access to riften bh but not windhelm. I can use the bed but nobody there and the door is locked?Whats wrong?
