She is very pretty. IMO, there is no such thing as amateur when it comes to art- there is only art. I did a test one time to see If the extra effort is worth it. I worked on getting a layout together with just the right lighting, makeup, clothing, and atmosphere and posted it. Then I posted a couple of screenshots I just took without thinking. The ones I just took and didn't care what they looked like got more endorsements! It's impossible for me to judge what peep's tastes will be- so I stopped worrying about it and just play my game and mod what I want. I don't post or endorse screenies on Nexus anymore and I am happier for it.

 

BTW, I thought this was funny. A Ghoul who refuses to serve his own kind.

Thanks! I know she's pretty ?, though I meant that (amateur) more for the screenshot "technical" part actually. I'd like to achieve something like VictoriaG's screens for example. Am not really interested in likes either just looking to improve my game, character & screens for fun and for my own "visual satisfaction", & use the screens as desktop wallpapers
Btw how did you manage to get those 5 custom girls in your previous shots ? they're settlers ?

Poor vault tech guy... though it would be even funnier if he was in The Slog ?

Nah, I just grab followers and some npcs and redo their looks. That is Cait, R4-04, my pc, Piper and Heather. I have about half a dozen more presets and make new ones every so often. Thinking of giving some of them custom bodies as well. With this mod you can have many companions and make almost anyone a follower by changing settings. I never have more than 3 or 4 at a time because they get in the way.

I like your character, imo she would make a popular preset, really cute face. Didn't know about that R.F textures will check it :p. For ENB I use Subtle ENB, but it doesn't seem to change much

Hahaha thanks, i usually doesn't share presets, but since i'm not playing with her anymore...
R.F. was deleted from Nexus, and replaced by Natural Female and 2K face (you can find the RF and RM face tex in 2K mod page). It is old, but i like it ?
And now i switched to 2K following a recommendation to pack all the 2K assets to a ba2... because 2K was giving me a hellish lag... and it is working! Actually i think it is working as intended because i have no brown face, but my fps even seens to be better than before! I saw sometime ago a guide for creating ba2 for the mods as it would improve performance, and it seens to be true. I'll try to pack more of my loose files to see if i can get even more from my game.

@KoolHndLuke couldn't be truer! The shots i don't like much are the ones that most people likes... xD

And i also edit my followers the way i like, nothing like what KoolHndLuke did, though ?

Thanks for the info there! I need every bit of performance enhancing techniques I can find and use for my pos pc.?

Will look into that mod looks interesting, does it handle affinity system too ? though am not really fond of editing followers, mainly because I fear I'll mess things up

Mmm I might download it I also get the brown face bug almost every time I fast travel and it's pretty annoying thanks for the recommendation

@KoolHndLuke i have a good setup and still use everything to give a better performance haha
Do you know how to do it? Just open Fallout 4/Tools and execute the Archive. Then you must create a new DDS for Textures folder and General for everything else, they need to be in different ba2. Once created, the ba2 must be named after the name of any active esp (that doesn't already have a ba2 attached to it, unless you want to extract it and re-pack with new files). Let's use Myesp.esp as example. SO you must name the DDS-Textures as 'myesp - Textures.ba2' and the General (meshes, material, scripts, etc) as 'myesp - Main.ba2'.

Just remember that any loose files will replace ba2 files, so make sure to delete them.

Do you use Boston FPS Fix? Good mod for performance
I also use Optimized Vanilla Textures, and replace it everything else.

 

@JujuVolikhar Brown face after loading was fixed with Rusty Face Fix (grab the esl version)
But you can have brown face by using face textures and tint textures that have different size, so if you want to use the 2K face mod, be sure to install LMCC 2K files if you use that mod. I wrote a bit about the brown face bug in a post here on LL, FO4 technical support i think.

I went to Far Harbor when it first came out....and hated the ugly fog everywhere. Left and never went back. Now I go back again and just take that stupid fog out. Far Harbor is beautiful!! My screenshots don't really do it justice, but, here are a few anyway. Really enjoying this play-through even though there are many things that I need to fix.

Well it's not the worse bug i've had clearly but it's annoying especially when it happens in a dialog, thanks mate I"ll install those tonight and try them out, will post more screenshots, hopefully in better overall quality (Just noticed that Steam compressed my screens)

If I get the brown face too often will look up for your posts ?

Edit: Lul failed to realize LMCC is looks menu compendium, already have that one ?

Dark face is really annoying, you usually have to close the game or open looksmenu to fix it, with Rusty face it never happened anymore
And for the brown face because of textures, you just need to pay attention if everything have the same size. Or you can send a pm if you don't want to make a post about it. Hehehe i also usually fail to understand abbreviations xD

 

And here is my first character... back when we didn't have any significant mods, only reshades and the most simple things...
I started playing from day 1 and was checking Nexus daily and installing mods as they were going out. WIth me there is no such thing as "play the vanilla game first" hehe
