Storms of Superior Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 View File I got tired of having craftable armor and clothing mods that require Linen Wraps, and not having any, but having tons of Tundra Cotton. Â In many cases I wanted the armor or clothing before my next dungeon crawl, but linen wraps are really only found in Nordic ruins, so I decided to throw together a constructible item. Now there is Craftable Linen Wrap. Â Feel free to use this as a resource for your mods, but give me credit. Â Before anyone asks... Â Q. Hasn't this been done already? Â A. I don't know. Â Happy Skyrim playing, folks. Submitter Storms of Superior Submitted 09/09/2015 Category Other Requires Nada Special Edition Compatible
Storms of Superior Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 Excellent idea! Â Thanks. Â
Guest ...failure Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Â Â Â Â Thanks. Â Â Â No, thank you for making good mods, keep up the good work. Â
Storms of Superior Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 Wow. I make good mods. I glad to know it.
Storms of Superior Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 Simple and clever idea. Thank you! Â You're welcome, and thanks for your interest.
Zebruh Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I really don't want to be that one asshole but... it exists already http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21394/? Â I'm going to check if these mods work together, i'm always finding tundra cotton so if these work together i will never need to dive into a dungeon just for linen again!
bjornk Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 You could also recycle useless clothing items and turn them into linen wraps and that's what I do in my game. Tundra Cotton can be hard to find, depending on the region in which you spend most of your time.

Or why else would you need them to work together?
crudo Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Request to make the amount of tundra cotton a bit less for one linen wrap. Maybe five instead of ten.
subrina Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Request to make the amount of tundra cotton a bit less for one linen wrap. Maybe five instead of ten.  In that case just use the mod from Nexus... that got a ratio of 3cotton => 1 linen (if I recall right, but it was surely better than 5:1)

subrina Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 errrr.. okay, you got me.. I did not actually check if the quoted nexus-mod was the right one... I just know that I am using a nexus-mod to craft linen wrap at 2-3 cotton per linen, so that cheap version does indeed exist already (I am 100% sure, that I did not mod it myself, as I am simply not able to )
DeepBlueFrog Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 If you are reaching the limit of your load order, you can also craft linen wraps by cleaning up bloody rags if you are using SexLab Dialogues.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21234/?  It only needs 2 Tundra Cotton, but you also need 2 potions that each require 2 Deathbell and a Jazbay Grapes, so it requires alchemy as well.
subrina Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 No, I finally found it again.. it is the Bandage mod from Nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35219/? Â The mod is mainly aimed to provide healing to totally non-magic chars, allowing a variety of healing bandages to be crafted. Â As a side effect it allows to create 3 linen wrap from 2 tundra cotton at any tanning station.
crudo Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 If you are reaching the limit of your load order, you can also craft linen wraps by cleaning up bloody rags if you are using SexLab Dialogues.  Is that what all those bloody rags are for? Ha! I will give that a try.  Thanks for the update gitchegumme.

I also just published a blog entry involving this. Check it out. Â

Storms of Superior Posted September 15, 2015 Author Posted September 15, 2015 I've come to about the end of what I can do with this mod, but I have another idea. http://www.loverslab.com/blog/152/entry-1831-thinking-of-throwing-together-a-new-mod/ Â Check it out and give suggestions. Thanks.
RedMonika Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 I was just looking for something like this. Thank you. There are a couple of mods on Nexus that do the same thing but the requirements of the crafting don't make sense to me. I was wondering if it could be added to deconstruct like miner clothes etc into linen wraps?

There are a couple of mods on Nexus that do the same thing but the requirements of the crafting don't make sense to me. I was wondering if it could be added to deconstruct like miner clothes etc into linen wraps? Do you mean you want to take linen wraps and deconstruct them into tundra cotton?
