Am I the only one sitting at home on the Fourth of July?

If I'm not, what are you doing to pass the time/celebrate?

I'm working on (learning) skeleton rigging and animation :)

Don't celebrate it, but with the current heatwave making sleep impossible not to mention killing the motivation to go out booty hunting, catching up on some bookkeeping is the only thing i could think of, sad i know.

"Self Employment is freedom"  Hah! I wish.

Tbh, I'd rather do book-keeping than go through the frustrations I'm having with Maya :/

Would offer to trade but i little to nothing about Maya, two dimensions is more than enough for me :)

I think I'm starting to get the hang of it :) My biggest problem is going to be getting soft body physics (breast/butt physics and collision) to work inside of Unreal Engine 4.

Just out of curiosity is there an end goal in mind or is it merely a principle of learning?

The fourth of July is just another day for me. I've got nothing going on. And I'm not about to suffer D.C. traffic just to watch some fireworks.

I have an awesome idea for a game/world that I'd like to make a reality, and I know that merely pitching the idea normally gets turned down, unless you have a fully working prototype with several hours of gameplay done. (Saves the buying company a lot of time/work).

I'd LIKE to be a the head of the team that completes it, since it's my own project? But... that probably won't happen. The whole thing probably won't happen, tbh. It's a lot of work for one person to undertake alone. :/ But hey, I can say I tried!

Ew. DC traffic. Gross. I'm about 4hrs from DC, and I travel there sometimes. I know how much of a nightmare it can be. Especially the beltway ....

Going into DC used to be my daily commute. I once said spent nearly a whole hour just sitting on Pennsylvania Avenue, waiting for traffic to move an inch. And don't even get me started on the time it snowed a few years back and I didn't get home until 2 AM (I got into my car around 4 pm the previous day. I spent nearly 10 hours trying to travel a distance of 18 miles by car)

I'll never do it again.

Yeah, I hear family complain frequently about how horrible the drivers are that way when a snow storm hits. Don't feel alone. They're not much better here in West Virginia.

Well you said it yourself.

Everyone and their mother have idea's, getting them done is indeed the problem.

Only advice I can offer in that regard is to keep your eyes on the stars and your feet on the ground.

Best of luck to you and your project, and be sure to post/link any project concepts etc if the thing gets to that stage.

That's the plan :3 It was partly inspired by what LL is all about, so (moderator's permission pending) I'd like LL to be it's home, if it ever gets totally done.

ATM I'm converting some armors and then running them through mesh rigger to add TBBP and a belly node. Might stop converting the ones from one person as all of their mods the texture paths are wrong and I have to change them all just to see them in nifskope. Might try converting some ladybody/demonica armors.

Mesh Rigger only works with .nif's right?

The smoke from the fireworks gives me an asthma attack, and it's too damn hot this year...

Honestly, it's time for another revolution here in the good old USA

The demonica body seems to convert to UNPCM better then CBBE does though it still has to go into the trash because of odd ball things that the body has the other bodies don't have like frankenstien body parts.

For once, after a nice visit with old friends I see very rarely and a consequent front row seat to the town's fireworks, I decided to take a walk on the town after the friends left.  I walked to one end, and right back, having been quickly reminded of how stupid people are, and why it is that I don't go out on the town much.

This was, of course, after having worked all day so that someone else (the public) could have the day off, as usual.
