Mojave Pimp is here, and now it is up to you to make money off it! What do you have to do? Get a follower and find the right customers!

 

Requires:
-Sexout
-Sexout Common Recourses
-Smaller Talk (not a master, but very, very, very highly recommended.)

 

Features:
-A minor prostitution system through which you can have your followers service NPC's and earn some caps along the way. The amount of caps are based on barter skill.
-A very small quest with some outfits to help your pimping career. AND a holotape voiced by yours truly.
-The option to have other random NPC's work for you. That's getting rich the easy way. (You will need to wear Rod's Neat Suit to hire them, though.) Once hired, your new Working Girls and Escorts will wander around close to where you recruited them, and will randomly end up having sex with some people while making a fuckton of cash for you.

-There is a restriction system allowing all followers to only sleep with a select group of clients. See the included Restrictions Sheet, it will tell you exactly which gender/race combinations every follower can sleep with. Also, there is a perk which allows you to circumvent the restrictions system (The Master Pimp Perk), or wear the Pimp Suit.

The three most popular followers are Willow, Delilah and Niner, all of which have stated that it is not allowed to redistribute their mods or use the assets for your own mods. As much as I would love to say "fuck it", I'm not going to risk it. And besides, I wouldn't want the same thing happening to me either. I do believe that I (if I were to ever create a follower) would add a follower of my own to the possible list of followers who can interact with this mod.

On the other hand, though, I don't see why you'd need to either redistribute their mods with yours, nor why you'd need to include their mod's assets in this (such a phrase generally concerns taking custom meshes or textures or such from the mod and using them elsewhere).  There are ways to have your mod utilize theirs without need for hard dependencies (indeed, it seemed to be a bit of a breakthrough when Loogie was able to get Sexout to cooperate with mod-original NPCs).  Plenty of sex-related mods do so already, and even Willow's author notes that her mod can be used with Sexual Innuendo (and only warns users that using them together could break the mod, not that you're not allowed to use them together whatsoever).

It comes down a bit to Authors who don't want to see pictures of their work humping or whatever, I remember someone made a dog mod that added bulldogs or some other breed to the game and someone wanted them to be available as a sex mod followers. The Author said although he had nothing against bestiality mods, the dog was modelled on his own dog that died so had no desire to see his mesh used in any sexual way.

That's the most unbelievable explanation you could possibly come up with. What legal issues? It's just a matter of compatibility patch.

You don't even need to ask permission of the follower mod author to make your mod compatible with his.

 

Just be honest and admit, that making a compatibility patch for every god damn follower mod is not worth the effort, because let's face it - it truly isn't.

That's the most unbelievable explanation you could possibly come up with. What legal issues? It's just a matter of compatibility patch.

You don't even need to ask permission of the follower mod author to make your mod compatible with his.

 

Just be honest and admit, that making a compatibility patch for every god damn follower mod is not worth the effort, because let's face it - it truly isn't.

 

 

There is a difference between compatibility and inclusion. Compatibility would mean if one of their mods would seriously interfere with mine, which is not the case. Inclusion, on the other hand, would mean allowing direct interaction. Until someone with the actual authority to do so can tell me whether or not it is completely fine to drag their mods into this, I stick to this reason. If it proves to be completely fine, I could make a compatibility version if my schedule allows for it.

Not that it stops someone else now doing a free patch for it that references SCR's companion formlists that happen to include Willow..............

No Willow is already added to that list by SCR you just need a patch for MojavePimp that referenced that formlist and it could work for all 3rd Party companions unless Mojave Pimp just happened to reference its own companions list and populated that from SCR's list, it has probably has no responsibility as to what companions are in there.

Yup. Every follower has a unique dialogue option, and has restrictions to who they can be sold off to, so MP checks for the unique followers to offer a much more dynamic approach than just "Hey, I saw you looking at my follower, interested?"

 

As for "I made this mod for payment"... kinda, it was commissioned, but it's free to access, so maybe I could make a version for people with the top three follower mods installed... maybe?

Couldn't hurt.  Because even with your disclaimer, you'll probably get a lot of people requesting such follower compatibility, especially after Sexout got updated to use those followers--I remember when Loogie and others had to keep saying no because of the old technical difficulties of getting mod-original companions working.

Maybe.. someone will commission you for their favorite companion? .. The cool aspect about that is they can set the "special dialogue".. AS for me.. this is pretty cool. Still organizing and downloading my fresh mods.. Skyrim.. 130 or so more to go.. then 300 or so for FNV.. (updates etc. When I set up my MO for play.. I don't want ot have to search or fool around with anything else again.. .). Maybe. I might even make some micro mods.. . (you know from a little green man.. you get it.. right? yea bad joke.. )
