DeathRowe Posted June 19, 2015 Author Posted June 19, 2015 Well, I did the entire install through Steam in that location from the start, so would that still be the case?
Anatriax Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Well, I did the entire install through Steam in that location from the start, so would that still be the case? Not sure. I encountered the problem with Oblivion GOTY when I bought the Anthology. I got around it by not using the Steam version of Oblivion. Unfortunately, that workaround isn't available for Skyrim :/ So I can't help you other than trying to reinstall via Steam. There are a few threads somewhere (here or the Nexus) that give command arguments that you can put into the .exe portion in MO. I'm not sure where they are, though.
vram1974 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 You need to launch your game through Skyrim launcher first on a fresh install. Then you can launch via SKSE.

DeathRowe Posted June 19, 2015 Author Posted June 19, 2015 the one linked in the guide. What I just thought of is uninstalling Skyrim, cleaning out my main drive's Skyrim folder and moving the contents to a holdover location, then reinstalling and moving all remaining files, including MO, from the secondary drive install location to the primary.

Theoretically that would work, so long as you made backups of your mod order, and plugin list (otherwise you'd have to reorganize all of your mods). Try Reinstalling MO. Go download the latest version again. If that doesn't work, go back a version and try.
DeathRowe Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 Can anyone tell me where the logs for client crashes can be found? I can't remember.
DeathRowe Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 UPDATE: I moved the files back into the install folder from the holdover, and I got the game running! Now a few problems: I got an error message "'$UI'[something]' is required for SexLab..." and my character was using an idle animation I didn't install. Thanks for all the help that got me this far!

Thanks for all the help that got me this far! rerun through phase 6 of my guide, and make sure the mods are installed in the proper order, with sexlab mods after FNIS and other animation mods. Then rerun FNIS, and make a new "generated FNIS" mod, deleting the old one. (delete first, then make the new mod) Also make sure you have SkyUI and all of the other Sexlab Dependencies installed
RitualClarity Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 I recommend starting from scratch and following that guide. I just did it a few days ago and it worked really well for me I recommend starting from scratch and following that guide. I just did it a few days ago and it worked really well for me <3 thanks I like seeing people say that my guide worked well for them! There is something for everyone there, even seasoned Skyrim Modders. I have been modding Skyrim for well over a year and a half heavily the last half year and must say there are some sections there that I really have to review more in depth. Those that are new.. follow the tutorial exactly for best results as there are loads of interconnected mods and setups. Don't follow it as directed at your own peril .. you have been warned.
DeathRowe Posted June 26, 2015 Author Posted June 26, 2015 After putting this effort on hold for a few days while I watched the house, I have resumed work. I am working on installing several additional mods at this time.
DeathRowe Posted June 30, 2015 Author Posted June 30, 2015 UPDATE: The game is BEAUTIFUL! I still have yet to find a few mods, some from my previous install, as well as some companions and houses that I may want to use, but it looks like my game will be far better than it has ever been. On the topic of companions and houses, does anyone have any suggestions? I already use Sofia, but I have no other modded followers in the game, and I have only 1 or 2 modded houses that I have yet to actually try out yet, so I welcome any ideas. All general mod suggestions are welcome as well! Thanks for all the help in getting this done! EDIT: I also would like some opinions on/tips on how to install http://www.loverslab.com/topic/27122-working-vagina-hdt-collisions-hair-physics-now-with-belly-support/ since I have failed miserably installing similar mods, since the character ended up having rainbow lady bits that time.
