ColonelHandsome Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Hello, everyone reading this. I am looking for an imposing, baroness styled armour, one that has the likeness of a Mistress. But doesn't reveal too much so it makes the armour look practically useless in combative scenario's. Something a true, female warrior would wear into battle on a horse. (That's what heavy plate was mainly used for.) I don't want skimpy, I don't want Zerofrosts, Medusa Armor. It has to be something well made, and textured. This is not just for me, but for those others who crave a realistic, female warrior look. But don't forget. Strong: Looking. Textured: For the whole thing. Reliable: File compatibility with mods. Enjoyable: For immersion Noble: For looks. Good: for fun gaming. True: to lore Help: please! Just remember strength when you are looking at armours on these sites and you will know how I feel.
Serithi Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 There isn't really that much overlap of "looks good" and "would wear this into battle", pertaining to what you're looking for. The vast majority of armor mods are the tired old skimpy stuff unfortunately, there's only a very small relative handful of stuff that someone would actually go into battle with, let alone something with a noble styling. The two realistic armor mods i can think of off the top of my head are http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36111/?and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26313/? , which are proper historical armor designs, though short of a retexture they're not going to look "noble". I personally think they look downright awesome, especially because they're proper historical designs and not the same tired fantasy crap. Kinda depends on what you're willing to sacrifice to get an armor you're happy enough with, really.
Anatriax Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Emfy Cleric Robes. Nexus is down, or I'd give you a link.

While I don't mind seeing skimpy stuff in people's screenshots, I don't really use any of it myself other than for taking the occasional 'cheesecake' pic. When I'm playing the game, my characters are usually wearing something practical that is appropriate for their class/weapon specialty. My archer isn't wearing full plate mail, and my knight isn't running around in a leather thong topless @ ColonelHandsome - If you're willing to use body replacers outside of the usual fair (CBBE, UNP, ADEC, 7B...etc), you might find more things that are lore friendly, form fitting but not skimpy. I know a lot of people have no use for the LB2 replacer or the stand-alone LB3, but I've always been a fan of the less skimpy armors that have been released for those bodies...there aren't a lot of them, but they do exist. Some are even included in the LB2 replacer set...some are converted Witcher 2 sets, or ports of old Oblivion armors (Sinblood's version of the Underworld Sonja armor comes to mind). Unfortunately, the only way to find the stuff you're looking for is to either try and make it yourself from scratch, find multiple sets that have bits and pieces that you like and make a mash-up, or send a request to a modder whose work you like and is willing to make it for you. Hopefully people will be able to point you in the right direction of other mods like Blarrgh and the others mentioned. I would tentatively suggest looking at the LB mods. There may be something there for you, but the down side is that you have to use that body / mod in it's entirety due to master file dependencies and texture mapping on the 3D models. You can't mix and match a LB armor with a UNP or CBBE body...unless you're comfortable with more in-depth conversion stuff...like using Blender or 3DsMax etc. Good luck! N~dles

You can't mix and match a LB armor with a UNP or CBBE body... you don't need an esp to use an armor and all you need to convert an armor is bodyslide you load the armor in outfitter you remove the bodie you import your bodie you take care of the clipping by making some parts smaller or bigger (blender or 3dmax have better tools for that) many conversions have clipping when you move because they forget to delete the weights and copy paste the ones from the new body

It's good you posted this info Yatol. I would point out that some of the LB2 armor mods do have dependencies on master files though, like the LB VampLord .esp. Granted, this plugin does a lot more than just add armor...but it's always a good idea to be aware of dependencies. N~dles
FauxFurry Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 While I would suggest just going to the Nexus then toggling off the option to show skimpy armors(I personally prefer to have the Dragon-Born be a female equivalent to the likes of Conan the barbarian while everyone else can hide behind several inches of mail so I tend to download the more concealing stuff from time to time as well as the skimpier gear for whatever gender),I'll post a few links to see if they are close enough to what you are looking for. I'm just going to link a few that still have some curves in their designs rather than the boxier gender neutral gear. After all,if that's what you were looking for, looking for it on Loverslab is a odd choice to say the least. The more 'realistic' gear can pretty easily be found on the Nexus so I won't link to the specific mod not that you could miss it if you wanted to. You'll see it when you see it. http://eiheispot1.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-74.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1709.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1676.html http://eiheispot1.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-227.html http://eiheispot1.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-253.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1627.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1613.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1573.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1553.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1491.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1456.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1432.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1455.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1455.html http://eiheispot1.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-149.html http://eiheispot1.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-16.html http://mitinokuoblivion.blog118.fc2.com/blog-entry-1415.html There were a lot more unpleasantly boxy armors to sift through than I recall. That's all that I have the patience to sift through at the moment.
ColonelHandsome Posted June 8, 2015 Author Posted June 8, 2015 Thanks guys. I will look at everything you have sent. So helpful. <3 Only reason I am searching for that here. Is because Loverslab seems a bit more laid back with the modders and such, less douchie. Hence why I asked here, because nice people would answer.
noodles1976 Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 ^ Yep, your statement is very true about LL. Most people are willing to offer advice or solutions to troubles you might be having, because let's face it...we've all needed some modding help at one time or another. There are only two websites that I actively participate in the forums regarding Skyrim or Fallout...here and GUN (formerly VGU). I just like the idea of a site where it's like sitting around and bullshitting with your friends...everybody is laid back and easy to get along with. Cheers N~dles
ColonelHandsome Posted June 8, 2015 Author Posted June 8, 2015 My reason for these choices of mod... Is because I live in Scotland, lol. I live in a land what is similar to the pale or Morthal in some areas. You come over here and walk around naked for a few minutes, or pull a pair of panties on and sprint with a claymore, you won't make it anywhere soon. XD
FauxFurry Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Okay. Here are a few more possible choices for you: Demon Hunter Armor and Dragon Carved Armor. The TERA 2015 armor pack and the BLESS Online armor pack also have quite a few entries that should fit the bill.
FauxFurry Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Here are a few more: Sovereign Slayer Armor North Girl Armor Ebony Valkyrie Lady Raven TERA Viridinium Armor Shiki Armor Dark Disciple Empire Mercenaries Vayan Armor Drow Armor EyeCandy Sexy Warrior Outfit (covered variant)

Very nice find. The helmets are grotesque IMO, but are still an incredibly detailed piece of modding work. Love the rest of the armor.

dTd Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 There's an guy who's released some armors here on LL , and I'm sorry I've forgotten his name, but two of them called studded leather and studded hide are very nice, kind of skimpy, skirts not a lot cleavage and quite presentable. I believe the esp is named ale_studded.esp if that rings a bell to anyone. I've personally converted both of those to dream girl tbbp for my own use.

If you're looking for some of the game's Vanilla & DLC armours which fit this descrition, I hear there's some guy called FastestDog on Nexus & LL who makes them for SeveNBase & UNPB...
Countfreezy Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 You may want to try out the Tembtra Thief Armor for UNP and CBBE. I know it isn't exactly plate armor but you might like it anyways. You can find it over on the nexus. There is also a less revealing version than what my character is wearing.
