I made a dds with your file that has the actual texture; I gave it protruding nipples (forgot to make a jpeg to show). For some reason, putting it back into Umod after doing that makes it look "fuzzy", or maybe...pixelated. Any idea why? I can give you the file if you want. I just used Photoshop to "extend" the nipples. If you can figure out why it gives a weird look to it, the texture is done.

 

Is there some specific way I'm supposed to be saving the dds? Compressed at DXT5? ARGB888 (uncompressed)? Something else? I'm so close...

I'll give it another try. It's done, now it just needs to show up right in-game. When it does, nips will be pokin' out. Not much, just a little. Could be as "long" as we want them, but I'm going for subtlety.

 

 

As for the Marie Rose mod, I see meshes. I won't be able to use it as long as those are there.

 

 

 

 

 

Edit: Do I want to Generate MIP Maps when saving as DXT5? No MIP Maps? Default?

If you don't generate Mip Maps and everything works ingame, than you don't need them. They are like LODs (level of detail) for textures. Means if you get far away from the character, it will load a smaller MIP. Or something like that.

Works either way, it seems. I used DXT5 and DXT3. Both work.

Delite, most of the textures (or lets say the game engine itself) do not allow an alpha channel. Even if there is one by default you cannot edit it for some reason.

There was performance issues with umod r53 and DOA5 mostly at the start of a round.  With umod r51 these are gone, and mods that work with r53 work with r51.  Also when I used the Sweetfx mod with r53 the slowdown made the game unplayable, with r51 it's smooth 60fps all the way :D
