So after a Short amount of time wandering around in here, I have a few things I'd like to say.

First of All I must Applaud all the wonderful modders that are willing to create these Delightful and Immersive mods, and OWN the fact that they created them, and for SHARING their Children with us.

Second, I look at all these mods and realize that above all I am no where as good at modding and If I can eventually figure out how to place a solid surface in the creation kit I will be no where near as good as these people.

Third, Now this is where the title comes in, now I love me a Challenge, and legendary runs are fairly difficult in vanilla. So even more now that I've added DD, SD+, and other wonderful mods. So really, What I am Wondering is am I insane for doing this, or is this insanity, Healthy and I should embrace It? Tell me your thoughts, Oh Mighty Minds of the internet and Reassure or Confirm fears and hopes.

I normally run in expert with my plethora of LL mods just for a fun yet challenging play .took me a week on once to get from riverwood to the high Hrothgar in legendary.some these evil  bastards who make my Skyrim experience so much more awesometastical are cruel in their brilliant perversions at scripting. so if you want that 30 minute battle with a dragon while you are being used as a sausage packing device who is to say you are nuts.

Oh and btw if you have to ask .......... you already know the answer.

I always think that I'll enjoy a play-through of my modded Skyrim wherein my character is frequently overwhelmed and thus raped/enslaved, but eventually I tend to get to the point where I just want to play at least while in-between those things happening, at least partially because being enslaved tends to get a bit dull.

Running around fighting while in restraints can be fun, but since most of them don't have any armor value, I can only imagine that on Legendary difficulty, the 'armor blocking' versions which can occasionally get equipped could really stop any progress cold.

Ach, that kind of insane. A pretty normal insane, if you ask me.

You are in the company of a whole strain of electronic gaming - roguelikes. From people who like killing their fanbase for people who enjoy nothing more than dying in new, horrible and unexpected ways. Sometimes in restraints.

There once was a member on this board who really was insane. Got himself banned too. Kind of sad, as he was really adding color.

But I can understand the reasons - if you were neither crazy yourself, nor psychologically trained he could get a tad trying.

Now seriously, youre uncommon, but thats actually nice, normality is kind of boring. Also crazy and "normal" are just titles the society gives to people that follow or no their traditions. People used to say galileo was mad when he proposed that earth moved around the sun and he were right. I live in brasil, but hate soccer, samba and the carnaval, I love guns and fireworks and to read, and people say that Im a crazy because I like to blow stuff or spend the whole day reading when I buy a new book.

The true challenge is playing with all of those and always dealing with the consequences even when they make no sense (for me this was being enslaved by ralof from a gas trap triggered by picking a plant outside the house i'd just been given the free run of by gerdur) so no save/reloading :)

Here's the real questions you should ask yourself

1)Are you having fun?

2)Are you hurting anyone in the real world?

3)Are you breaking any laws?

As long as your answers are yes no and no...enjoy yourself!

I enjoy sniping 10 or 20 Thalmor at a sitting.

I love having carnal relations with every beast I encounter in the wilds (they're better company than most people).

Trolls are sexy if you avoid their breath.

High sneak and a good bow equals naked hunting where I actually survive.  Usually.

I am the giants' best girl because I know how to play the tuba.

But I'm not crazy.  My Mom had me tested.

Sarathis called it right.  it's been an expression for ages that only insane people never question their sanity.   Would Uncle Sheo approve of such a run none the less?  Yeppers :D

Hey, no guts no glory and we have to find some way to entertain ourselves for another 4 or so years till TES 6 is out. :D
