I considered and dismissed several harsher requirements and for those who are contributing members of LL or long time members who routinely help others with load order problems or identifying and locating mods all they need do is ask the rule in place is only to inconvenience the parasites at modderteam, I truly am sorry that others are getting caught up in this. I ask that you attempt to see things my way though. At first it was no big deal that those at modderteam would not openly share, there were plenty of others moding for oblivion. i have said many times in this very thread and in private messages that anyone from modderteam was welcome to rehost or use any mod that I have done. I and many others were more then willing to share with them. The trouble is just like a parasite they are not willing to share in return Since Skyrims release the community has changed and it is in rapid decline. In my eyes there can no longer be any tolerance for not openly sharing. With out new content and open access to that content the community will continue to die off It is unfortunate that I am placed in a position that leaves me at odds with own beliefs on sharing work but if I do not take a stand on this then I cannot ask for others to fallow my lead and then nothing will change what I would love to see is for only registered users who are logged in to be able to view the threads on LL, guests in my opinion should be stuck in a lobby area until they register I would also like to see member privilege's based on post count or contribution. This would eliminate the need for passwords entirely and for the most part greatly reduce the number of parasites who only come here to take and cry like bitches if one of there own links is shared funny how they never once complained about any of the other links, but that is the way or the parasite ..........and if your all still awake after reading my rubbish i'll just have to launch Massive wall of text attack next

BUT there are tons of people who would like to contribute and will never find the time to create something worth sharing. Post counts? this will easily lead to spam and pointless posts. Taker me as an example: I´ve been around here since the old days of Wolflore, and yet i´ve accomplished not more than expanding, refining and refitting extising mods for my personal use, like XEO or BUDungeon, which I can´t release due to the "original creators" and the massive mod dependencies I built in.

Help people out by answering questions, for example people ask for help all the time in the what mod is this thread, they also post all over the boards asking for help with other issues. So look for ways to build a reputation as being a helpful contributer, you can also create your own mod for LL (it doesn't have to be adult related just hosted here on LL.) if there is a particular mod that you would like to make simply look through our tutorials section and ask questions when you get stuck. If you cannot find a tutorial that you need just ask for it, if you find one but it dosnt make sense to you ask for clarification I am looking over more of the threads here on LL so I will take notice of those who are making a true attempt

You can see the parasitism most clearly in the sharing section of "That forum". Some of these people actually have the gall to make you pay coins to unlock links...to nexus, or even here from time to time. They don't even take the time to download it and rehost it somewhere else. Only reason I havent gone to each of those threads and just posted the link, without the pay-block, and saying not to steal other peoples work is for fear of being misunderstood and being banned. Though...it would be a worthy endeavor for someone that doesn't care about being banned or not. Just go on a posting spree to reveal stolen mod links. And I have to agree about the silly souble standards...it's fine to steal those silly western people's work, and claim it as your own..but god forbid someone even mention something you made, let alone rehost it. I'll now stop my rambling, and let the shenanigans resume here.

I'm saddened GSB that you have decided to activate this type of plan to protect your awesome content from the dirtbags out there who take advantage of others. Being naturally quiet I am never one for chat or forums, but I registered here because of the fantastic content that this site has provided to me. But recent events just remind me of bad drm that game makers do these days...to explain, you have control, but if something happened where you didn't have internet, then no one could download your cool content. I'm not trying to take blame away from those who were charging money and what have you for hard work that was supposed to be free, but to me its now like those guys as well as people who just love oblivion and great mod content are all being punished. One idea I thought of was including a readme in all of your files explicitly stating "this work was created by GSB Modders and can be found on http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=936 and if you paid money for this you have been scammed!" Or watermark the link onto the preview images for each... Just some thoughts. At any rate, I hope you reconsider your current position, but as this is all your hard work, I will always respect what decision you make. A plea, coming from one of your quiet fans. This forum and Nexus are all I check for Oblivion these days. Sorry for my own wall of text

I've tried to include as many credits as possible. I'm not intend take you guys' work and repost them for my benefit. You can try PMing him for it but it's up to him whether or not he chooses to share.

I think/hope this period when your work wasn't readily available for anyone in public might have taught a few certain people a lesson, at least it should have made them aware of their ill practices and the repercussions they caused. If only some of them really saw the error of their ways, it hopefully will bring about slight improvements. Blind idealism, I know, but despite me oftentimes feeling cynical and sarcastic I refuse to give up on the ideal of a true community spirit.

(Image 19) I converted the texture from a v4 character, the conversion was available for a short time but not many people liked it and so it is no more once the character was retired her texture's and saves were deleted

I copied them to the tresses folder but in game the hair has red streaks in it but it's still blonde. The hair shows fully red in nifskope though. The texture paths are wrong with my copy of the tribal set. Paths for my files are /textures/characters/wildelves/tresses. The correct path is /textures/wildelves/tresses. Putting them in the /characters/ folder does nothing. I am manually installing the files. Not using the esp. I never use a mod that automatically loads items to my inventory. It can trash the game.

[/quote'] So I am stuck with the blonde hair for now? The outfit is really pretty and well designed. I hope you will update it soon. Is it possible to get a DMRA version? Maybe Thor or Patzy could convert it. I want to ask Thor to but I have burdened him with so many requests already I feel guilty for dominating his conversions time for others. If you ask him I'm sure he would. Also, if you can use blender, could you make me a DMRA lowerbody that the ankles will work with all the HGEC footware mods? I curse the modder who designed the DMRA lowerbody 'cause the ankles do not match up with HGEC designed footware, which most of the shoe modders use, not the DMRA. For some reason the DMRA ankle is much smaller than the HGEC ankle. I use a DMRA Manga body that the ankles match but doesnt match well with the current DMRA body clothes that Thor and others make. Either the clothes fits and the shoes dont or visa versa. It's so irritating.
