FetishSergal Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 New MMORPG, coming out in 2016 Here is a showcase of character customization: And a showcase of how NPCs interact (And how your character dynamically idles with nearby surrounding) Leave your opinions ^^
Thulas Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Looks like those guys at NASA will have lots of fun, because the way it looks to me is that it'll let the system requirements from AC: Unity look like a piece of cake. Also, inb4: "Moved to gaming section".
Ascian Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I am totally hyped for that game. Steparu did a shitton of videos on his channel and i nearly watched all of them It really looks promising and i hope we get a decent western release. Looks like those guys at NASA will have lots of fun, because the way it looks to me is that it'll let the system requirements from AC: Unity look like a piece of cake. Two friends of mine already played it via vpn etc and they said it doesn't require that much. Both have an I5 CPU and a GTX 670 and 770 GPU and both say it runs just fine, but the game still has trouble with LoD and DoF.
bjornk Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I think "Other Games" section would be a better place to discuss this kind of thing, and also, there are already two threads on it there. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19378-black-desert-online/http://www.loverslab.com/topic/40234-news-on-black-desert-online/ Haven't been able to play it yet, but I know it pretty well. Youtube channels such as steparu, rendermax, freemmostation, fluffyquack, BikestMan, angelofgrace etc. have featured tons of lengthy videos since earlier closed betas, some of them were pretty entertaining as well. I recommend keeping an eye on these channels for more updates and info. This game has really nice realistic graphics, great animations and a seamless open world which is very large and detailed, even though it's not even complete yet. Unfortunately, despite the great stuff, it's kind of a grindy MMO. I don't like MMOs so I'm not really excited about the game anymore but I would no doubt love to play a single player RPG on this engine. In the open beta, DAUM made some changes which kind of annoyed me. They made some of the hair styles (which were free in the closed betas) "premium" and they also put a pantyhose on the sorceress and stockings on the ranger, none of which can be taken off (you can only take off your armor while inside your home so what's point, really?). Other than those, the game still has the best character creation system that I know of. One of my favorite BD videos. It's from CBT3 and kind of showcases the environments and in-game music.
bjornk Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 New class, Blader. This is the sixth class so far, AFAIK they have three more classes.
winny257 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 LOL, that "most important" of Black Desert ye have forgotten, you look at these bunnies and how they can move.
Thulas Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 LOL, that "most important" of Black Desert ye have forgotten, you look at these bunnies and how they can move. That woman really should consider to use a sports bra, that bouncing just can't feel anything but painful after an intense battle. But I do hope they won't make the huge mistake to add these physics to solid armours aswell. I mean, one thing that looks totally ridiculous is a heavy plate armour that bounces up and down as if it was made out of linen.

I believe that such a delicate beings, rather on the "breast warts" crawls. Ger. es ist mir schon klar , wenn sie eine schwere Plattenrüstung trägt , daß sie sich dann nicht mehr so elegant bewegen kann . ich glaube das so ein zartes Wesen , eher auf den "brust warzen" kriecht .

Considering her class is called "assassin" I doubt she'd use heavy armour anyway, so that was more meant for the other classes. Overall I have to say though..it needs some augmentation.

winny257 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Granted plate armor does not move with physics but lets remember who these games are made by and for usually whom they are made for. 9 out of 10 times your going to be looking at the characters ass the most (unless you play strictly first person) so it should have a bit of a wiggle, then on occasion your going to see the front of your character which should also have a bit of a wiggle/jiggle if your going to keep the interest of the majority of the player base. And don't go putting words in my mouth here. I'm not saying females do not play games but as of yet they are not the majority of the player base. That could however change. Anyway I would agree if your going to have fully enclosed plate armor don't make it jiggle BUT if however you have something like the Sovngarde armor which is open around the chest area then make what is viewable flesh have jiggle I believe I saw it somewhere on here and it was called splash jiggle or something to that effect, I think it was also done to a similar armor. But anyway. in a game everything is possible (well, almost everything) also wobbling plate armor. you're absolutely right, a game is only interesting if these effects are present.
winny257 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 New class, Blader. This is the sixth class so far, AFAIK they have three more classes. the only thing I do not like about this game, are those ugly special effects. if I in reality, with a sword struggles, then produced during blow also no light effect. and the most beautiful, the enemies are there like wooden dolls and let himself beat up.
...0... Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 I know what will happen you see 90% female running around in underwear and ADHD combat will loved by young new generation. Beat em Up IN MMO no thanks. Emotes, facial expression and the bouncing boobs/bottom looks good. F2p cash shop. Looks nice but prolly not for me. Who is publisher who pick this up for europe?

Buddy Christ Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Hmm, what impressed me the most was the hair Yeah, I am strange like that But after seeing the fight scene with the Blader, it just doesn't cut it for me (pun totally, really not intended )
bjornk Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Despite the beautiful animations, the game's flashy, unrealistic combat system really sucks. Also, even though you can crouch, or go prone to hide in the game, there's no option to "walk", if I'm not mistaken, which is pretty bad.
Guest mercury11 Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I've been anticipating this for a while. I'm not sure how the game mechanics work, but I think it has one of the most intricate character creation systems I have ever seen. The question I'm having is will the game be a "I buy the game, and then play for free", or a "buy the game, and pay to play"? I'd prefer to not pay per month, but if I had to, I think I could fork over $10 or $15 per month for a subscription. Or maybe one yearly subscription which would lower your monthly payments. The other news I've been following about Black Desert, is that it's in development also for the PS4 and Xbox One. It would be great for people who like playing games on consoles, or don't have a capable PC. I personally have no preference, as I myself play games on my PS4 and PC.
SweetLittleSister Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 LOL, that "most important" of Black Desert ye have forgotten, you look at these bunnies and how they can move. I hope for her sake that whatever glue is holding that scrap of stuff in her cleavage is safe for use on skin ... ... and for everybody else's that the brainless racket in the "music" channel can be turned right the **** OFF before it even starts.

Black Desert Online The free to play MMORPG Black Desert online, according to my information is absolutely free. this I can say only about a German forum, but here you can find out for yourself. https://www.google.de/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=black+desert+mmorpg+free+to+play+monthly+fees here is a video for character creation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpY-lkNvzUI this is madness, just too much.
SweetLittleSister Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 3:57 ... my god, that left elbow ... that HAD to hurt.
bjornk Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Here's a bunch of videos from BikestMan channel... and some funny ones...
SweetLittleSister Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Good video, good song, love the dwarf marching in time to the music and singing along ... but since when do the characters wear glasses? "Raindrops on your glasses" effect just seems wrong somehow, like the "blood all over your visor" in L4D. Go out in the rain (without glasses) and what you get is an occasional raindrop in the eye, costing you vision on one side until you blink or wink them away, not raindrops stopped on a clear surface in front of your eyes, partially obscuring a tiny part of the view for a few seconds.
bjornk Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I'm okay with that, better than not having any effect at all. It's pretty subtle anyway.
