I understand that support is important, but, sadly, today I'm seeing a lot of these. Several modders aren't just releasing content for free. I understand that you say "sadly", but I always try to make people aware of the fact they are getting stuff free that takes a lot of work. In the case of KW, it's still free and Oniki has put a lot of time in it. The test builds between updates are for the people that give support so that Oniki can continue making - free! - stuff for us. We should be so glad with this system. Without it, I think a lot of modders don't want to spend so much time in something without any reward for it. I started to completely understand this when I started animating. In my case, it takes ±12 hours to make one(!) animation. Okay, I'm not that skilled yet, fair enough, but that's a lot of time for me that I spend on stuff to share for free with other people. I work five days a week, 8 hours per day. Where should I find time to animate? Should I drop a day or two of my everyday job? I could do that, but how do I do that and keep a roof over my head at the same time? Let's hypothetically say that you want animations in your game but can't make them yourself. In this hypothetical case I'm an professional animator and you hire me to make some animations for you. I ask $10 per hour (IRL it would be so much more) and one animation takes me 10 hours of work. Do the math how much it would cost you to get a pack of animations... We should be glad with a set up like patreon. You can choose to support for early access, but in the end the content stays free. Yeah, but if you spread your releases way to far out people who cant pay for it or dont want to will feel like the mod author is virtually making you pay for it.
gregvim Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 Hello, I just came back to SIms 3 after a while and found this awesome mod. I have enjoyed everything except the Rape interaction. I am a bit confused and can someone please clarify something. When I have a rapist sim select to rape another sim they have a scuffle/fight animation and then its over. There is no err emm actual rape animation that happens other than the scuffle. I have every animation pack installed with 500+ animations including Mikes and lady666 but the sims dont do the rough stuff unless i select it? Or do I have the setting messed up somewhere? Any more info on the rape system? is it really just a scuffle cloud animation? Thanks, Greg V.

adnime Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 Did you make sure to load the animation packages in game? In KW Settings, under Woohoo, there should be a package number and add new package (not on sims atm so forgive me if im vague) and see to it that all the anims that you loaded are in the game.

Furthermore, I'm not completely against paid mods, however as much as I would like to support, it may be costly to monthly support every modder that is charging for their content. Note that I'm not saying that they don't deserve, but I expect that they could release it for free, even it's a little late than others. By doing this, I'm sure they will have more than enough monetary support. Beyond that, I'm glad that most modders release their content for free, by hobby, for example, expecting nothing more than the community appreciation. I, in return, for appreciating this gesture, have created some mods and soon I will make it available for the community. I agree with Jolie Rouge that constantly discussing this returning topic doesn't get us anywhere, so let´s just agree to disagree on this matter. (I do understand what you guys are saying though, but it stops and understanding and doesn't turn over to agreeing because I experience it differently so no hard feelings whatsoever)

mrinku Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Nudist venues are simple - just designate any lot non-residential lot as Nudist (there's no other requirement). Be warned that at the moment Nudist lots seem to impose their own naked outfit, which doesn't matter mostly but means Shemales don't show their penis. This is just cosmetic and is fixed by having them change clothes when away from the Nudist lot. For schools, google "Sims 3 non-rabbithole school" and you should get several. All you need to make a lot work as a KW high school is a whiteboard and enough desks for the teens.

One of them is that it's unable to detect that students are at actually at school because it only checks if their current interaction is the standard rabbithole interaction, which is not. Got this off of the Pateron site.

Perhaps something got corrupted while trying to get it to extract using WinRAR, or it did not download correctly in the first place. If you are using Windows and are attempting to use the latest version, the downloaded file should either appear as "ONIKI_KinkyWorld_v0.3" or "ONIKI_KinkyWorld_v0.3.7z" if you have disabled the "hide extensions for known file types" option in Windows Explorer. Right click on the archive, then select "extract to ONIKI_KinkyWorld_v0.3" from the 7zip menu. This should create a folder called "ONIKI_KinkyWorld_v0.3" and will contain the contents of the archive. Open the "ONIKI_KinkyWorld_v0.3" folder then copy the 17 files into your Sims3 mod folder.
