Also when i chosed the house and ready to play, the game  crashes. What to do?

This happened to me several times a few months ago.  Do you have the Crash Log Analyzer?  It told me that my game was not patched to the current patch and after doing much searching I found up to date patches over on MTS.  I patched it and I haven't received that error since then.  Just throwing this out there, duck so I don't hit you :P

 

 

Good point, It is spelled out as clear as possible on page 1 though :s

I keep seeing this over and over in the xml that KW generates when I run the game. Bear in mind that I have dogs, cats and horses switched to off in sims gameplay settings before I started this neighborhood or turned KW on in that hood. Also switched ALL animals off in Nraas register.

Is KW generating animals in a hood that has them turned off in sims gameplay options AND in KW options?

I find the odd cat, dog or horse wandering around my hood and have to get the nraas shotgun out.

 

The gameplay setting that disables animals only stops the families in town from adopting them. Nraas Register controls wild animals and strays.

 

The animals in your list look like the ones that are available for adoption through the phone, newspaper, etc. If they belonged to a family, they would have their last name and strays should say "Stray Dog, Stray Cat" and so on. I don't know of a way to stop the game from generating adoptable pets, but you should not be seeing them around town either.

 

Are you sure that the animals you saw weren't just strays? Sometimes Register lets a few slip through and you have to reenter "0" to annihilate them.

Ok, well it`s not working.....I do have Register running, maybe the pet adoption pickup pool was overriding it?..I`ve set to 0 and another pet adoption pool just set to 0... I`ll see if that works

Also just reset all animal controls to 0...All of the animals were named, not strays

I'm not sure why you're seeing animals running around. Do you have Nraas Story Progression installed? I know it allows you to choose how many pets will appear in the homes around town. If it is active, it overrides the EA setting so you will still see animals moving in.

 

As for your second pic, all that does is determine how many pet social worker sims are spawned by the game. You know the sim that shows up to take your pet when it's not being taken care of? It doesn't disable the pets that are available for adoption.

 

Even if you set all animals to zero in Register, it still only affects stray cats/dogs and wild animals (wild horses, unicorns, deer and raccoons.) Register does not touch adoptable animals (because they are Services, not role sims) or pets in your neighbors homes. The "Services" menu in Register only has options for the pet social workers. So again, if you have Nraas SP, go to "General> Sims> Maximum Sims" and make sure animals is set to zero. I hope this fixes your problem, because that's all I can think of, sorry.

Nope, have`nt used that in years and think it wouldn`t work well for me coz, I think it`s fair to say, SP and KW are both very invasive mods.

 

I`ve recently ditched overwatch too, but I hear there`s a setting in that to turn the pet adoption system off. I might have a poke around in OW with s3pe and see if I can figure out how it`s done.

Did actually notice 2 households that I placed in homes ended up gettting pets, sooo buggered if I know how...... :lol:

 

Anyway, no biggie, and getting off topic so I`ll leave at that and just keep shooting any animals that break into my hood :D

 

 

EDIT :  Found this household while I was looking through edit town she`s smuggled 4 horses in from somewhere......WTF!!!

 

EDIT 2: Ok, so I found that it`s EA story progression that`s probably adding the pets, I have that turned on. Also I`m on a user created world in this particular game so that might be skewing things. Anyway, found the demographics xml that regulates SP and experimenting with turning off all the shit I don`t like :D

 

 

From what I remember, the Overwatch pet adoption is the one that disables the orange icon over a household that has a new litter of puppies/kittens. It stops that from happening and prevents them from inviting your sim over to adopt one. Anyway, glad you've found a way to sort through the problem. EAs story progression can be buggy at times.

 

 

Oh and ditch Error trap and Overwatch.  They are not necessary for the game.  I have ditched those in addition to NRAAS Woohooer.  If I can do it, you can too.  Less is more. ;)

 

 

 

But if you use Overwatch, you still need to clear the clothing cleanup and the stuck bits, right?

 

What of the other "improvements" Overwatch gives you?  What do you lose by not using Overwatch, and why wouldn't I want that?

 

Overwatch has many other fixes that run at startup and for my game, at least, is essential to avoid certain types of game corruption. First time I`ve had a blue screen with the massage table.

I didn`t see the interaction start, it was autonomous between 2 townies on a community lot that I wasn`t watching.

Zoomed to the lot when I got the blue screen. Romantic massage was in progress....it`s possible that the girl was in professional role, she does that autonomously.

Unlocked the male sim with debug to stop the blue screen repeating.

 I've never used the debug feature, can you explain what you did exactly to unlock the sim? I've never been successful at stopping the blue screens; they always return.

KW settings menu> show debug true

Click on sim>kinky>debug>unlock sim

Not all blue screens involve an interaction in progress. It was obvious from that error that it was massage table, I sent a playable sim to the lot where the massage table was and unlocked one of the sims.

It probably uses similar code to nraas unlock stuck object.

Oh, I've read the NRaas list, and honestly, I was surprised at how much EA/Maxis seemed to leave broken in the product.  That's why I was a bit surprised at the advice to drop Overwatch altogether.  It's a long list of fixes gained by using Overwatch, but maybe it's a long list of obscure and trivial issues.

If your still having problems with animals I can take a look and see what I have for it, I have it set up in my game for no animals at all not even strays and I don't ever see any.

Anything I say about OW is opinion rather than advice, in my experience games are just as likely to screw up with it as without it. That might depend on my playstyle, which  is gonna vary enormously user by user.

Don't want to derail the thread, but I just wanted to add that I just had the exact issue you described in my own save. EAs SP has been off since the beginning, and pets disabled. But I saw 4 horses in a neighbor's yard as I was passing by. I zoomed out and the house had the "Neighborhood Pet Adoption" icon, so that's probably what you're seeing. Overwatch would be the mod to disable that, as I've mentioned previously.

 

Just wanted to clarify in case anyone else is struggling to figure it out.

Very impressive mod, , great job. This mod in my opinion adds realism to the game. For now (0.24v) animal features are poor (I know work in progress), don't get me wrong I like them, but dogs should be more dangerous (rape or something). Just one sniff and that's it ( or maybe i missed something). As for puppies it would be nice to feed them by female sim breasts. But enough of this, i`m looking forward to see next releases, thank you and good luck.

A lot of the times after i get a client he goes into the house and my sim is stuck in front of doors because they are closed for him.
Is it working as intended? I can only cancel the action and lose the client.

so...any estimated release date for the 0.2.5 update? the game is unplayable in the current 0.2.4 version. plays fine for the first time but freezes 10 secondes after quiting and loading a save. would like this problem solved in the next update before implementing any new features. also it would be very cool to replace the debug interactions with non-immersion breaking ones.

 

It'll be out when it's out.  Fair 'nuff.  But can I offer an idea for releases?  We release software along two branches -- bug fixes and new features.  Bug fix releases come pretty regularly, and we are very diligent never to include new capability in a bug fix.  Mostly because new features are always buggy, and a bug fix release must always have fewer bugs after the release!  At the same time, a one-person shop like OnikiKay can't be expected to manage that much release complexity.  Still, a minor release schedule with JUST bug fixes would be nice...

 

How about a test team?  Active users who get bug fix releases (not new feature releases) and they bang on it for a week to give it a thumbs-up-down.  They represent a fair cross-section of the user community -- different EPs, different gaming configurations, etc.  If no one reports an A-class bug, and can confirm that the promised bugs are squished, the bug fix release goes public.

 

i agree with you completly. fixing the bugs in previous releases should take priority over releasing new versions with new features and more bugs. to my knowledge the game breaking freeze bug has been around since the 0.2.3 version. that version was released more than a month ago. this means the game has not been playable since with this mod activated. the mod creator can take his time implementing new features in the mod provided the the game is still in a playable state which it is not. how can we check the new features if we can not play the game?

What other mods do you use?

Is your game patched up to 1.67?

Are you playing Paradise Island?

Have you cleared the cache-files (mydocuments-Electronic Arts-Sims 3, all files (not folders!) with "Cache" in their name)?

Have you read maraas` Guide to OKW?

 

yes have read the instructions on the first page and followed them..i only use essential nraas mods: error trap, overwatch, register, traffic, go here, once read, and of course master controller. i do not use story progression any more because this mod is not stable with it. my game is fully updated with all the expansions... i play on sunset valley. i always delete the whole sims3 folder in my documents after every freeze and start a new game...yes i have read the guide to okw. i do not consider myself tech savy but i know my way around sims 3 modding and iam pretty sure the mod creator himself knows the exact bug iam talking about. he said so in an earlier post.

 

 

 

I've had SP from the time I started using this mod long long time ago and no problems with it, along with a ton of other mods and honestly, I hardly ever have any problems.  A few minor things here and there that honestly, can live with like occasional RI on a teen or an interaction not completing but that's basically it.  Other than a few things on the first page that says not to use or to use for this mod are the only real problems.  Other mods have issues once in a while with other mods all the time, doesn't mean they are no good completely with someone else.  That's the thing people need to realize when they report bugs or so called bugs or incompatibility.  The fact that everyone's computer has something different, is configured differently along with the actually components in the computer all go in on how a mod, or program is going to run for the intended use.  If someone feels there may be an incompatibility not mentioned on the first page then I feel it should be PM to the creator of the mod and if they choose to check it out then that is their choice.  Oh, and not intended to be mean just sometimes reading through the forum and seeing all the errors and bugs and so many different kinds some repeat to other players and some no one has ever seen before just makes me feel that people don't take in consideration to what they might have as the computer itself, other mods and other programs running.  If your game freezes and you believe the culprit is SP or MC or Awsome mod or any of those other really big mods that take one heck of a toll on a computer along with this mod which is also very large its probably because-not all of course-the computer they are on can't handle that much of a load along with other things going on in the back ground.  Sorry if I offended anyone. Not intended to do so.   Have fun simming!  :)

 

Oh and still love the mod works great on my computer and there is a lot going on at the same time. :)

 

 

i play isla pradiso a lot and other worlds and have very little lag problems

 

i am not talking about the lag. iam talking about the game freezing after loading a saved game.

 

 

There's been a few in the thread who have spoken about IP.  I don't know of the problem personally do the fact that I prefer to just stick with my custom world which is much smaller and runs very well.  I just wanted to point out that this problem has been mentioned before and responded back from Oniki that there is a issue with IP. 

 

 

 

please...please read what i said...i do not play on isla paradiso... i play on sunset valley...i played the sims 3 on different worlds without okw and i had no problems... the only game breaking problem i have is the game freezes shortly after loading a saved game with okw.

 

 

 

When my game froze like this after loading a game, it was due to ErrorTrap. Have you removed it yet? It doesn't play nicely with KW and should never be installed at the same time.

 

Oniki's response was about a freeze that can happen in Isla Paradiso specifically, which has been an issue since Island Paradise released. It might have nothing to do with KW and I honestly believe it is not the same as the issue you are having.

 

The best way to determine if a problem is caused by KW is to play the game with it installed by itself. No additional mods or CC (except what is required by Kinky.)

 

I've mentioned this a couple of times, but I also have the game breaking freezing error when loading a saved OKW game. My solution has been to turn off OKW before I save and quit and not enable it until all other mods are working in my game after I restart it. I never have any problems with the game freezing at start up if I remember to disable OKW before every save. My theory is that my computer can't handle everything happening at once at start up - getting SP running, etc - so it just stops. If I give it a couple of minutes to settle in before enabling OKW, it's fine.

First time I`ve had a blue screen with the massage table.

I didn`t see the interaction start, it was autonomous between 2 townies on a community lot that I wasn`t watching.

Zoomed to the lot when I got the blue screen. Romantic massage was in progress....it`s possible that the girl was in professional role, she does that autonomously.

Unlocked the male sim with debug to stop the blue screen repeating.

Never had this error too. Thanks for the log, I'll take a loot at it.

 

If it happens again, please let me know.

Very impressive mod, , great job. This mod in my opinion adds realism to the game. For now (0.24v) animal features are poor (I know work in progress), don't get me wrong I like them, but dogs should be more dangerous (rape or something). Just one sniff and that's it ( or maybe i missed something). As for puppies it would be nice to feed them by female sim breasts. But enough of this, i`m looking forward to see next releases, thank you and good luck.

so...any estimated release date for the 0.2.5 update? the game is unplayable in the current 0.2.4 version. plays fine for the first time but freezes 10 secondes after quiting and loading a save. would like this problem solved in the next update before implementing any new features. also it would be very cool to replace the debug interactions with non-immersion breaking ones.

 

It'll be out when it's out.  Fair 'nuff.  But can I offer an idea for releases?  We release software along two branches -- bug fixes and new features.  Bug fix releases come pretty regularly, and we are very diligent never to include new capability in a bug fix.  Mostly because new features are always buggy, and a bug fix release must always have fewer bugs after the release!  At the same time, a one-person shop like OnikiKay can't be expected to manage that much release complexity.  Still, a minor release schedule with JUST bug fixes would be nice...

 

How about a test team?  Active users who get bug fix releases (not new feature releases) and they bang on it for a week to give it a thumbs-up-down.  They represent a fair cross-section of the user community -- different EPs, different gaming configurations, etc.  If no one reports an A-class bug, and can confirm that the promised bugs are squished, the bug fix release goes public.

 

i agree with you completly. fixing the bugs in previous releases should take priority over releasing new versions with new features and more bugs. to my knowledge the game breaking freeze bug has been around since the 0.2.3 version. that version was released more than a month ago. this means the game has not been playable since with this mod activated. the mod creator can take his time implementing new features in the mod provided the the game is still in a playable state which it is not. how can we check the new features if we can not play the game?

Have you cleared the cache-files (mydocuments-Electronic Arts-Sims 3, all files (not folders!) with "Cache" in their name)?

Have you read maraas` Guide to OKW?

 

yes have read the instructions on the first page and followed them..i only use essential nraas mods: error trap, overwatch, register, traffic, go here, once read, and of course master controller. i do not use story progression any more because this mod is not stable with it. my game is fully updated with all the expansions... i play on sunset valley. i always delete the whole sims3 folder in my documents after every freeze and start a new game...yes i have read the guide to okw. i do not consider myself tech savy but i know my way around sims 3 modding and iam pretty sure the mod creator himself knows the exact bug iam talking about. he said so in an earlier post.

There's been a few in the thread who have spoken about IP.  I don't know of the problem personally do the fact that I prefer to just stick with my custom world which is much smaller and runs very well.  I just wanted to point out that this problem has been mentioned before and responded back from Oniki that there is a issue with IP.

When my game froze like this after loading a game, it was due to ErrorTrap. Have you removed it yet? It doesn't play nicely with KW and should never be installed at the same time.

 

Oniki's response was about a freeze that can happen in Isla Paradiso specifically, which has been an issue since Island Paradise released. It might have nothing to do with KW and I honestly believe it is not the same as the issue you are having.

 

The best way to determine if a problem is caused by KW is to play the game with it installed by itself. No additional mods or CC (except what is required by Kinky.)

 

I've mentioned this a couple of times, but I also have the game breaking freezing error when loading a saved OKW game. My solution has been to turn off OKW before I save and quit and not enable it until all other mods are working in my game after I restart it. I never have any problems with the game freezing at start up if I remember to disable OKW before every save. My theory is that my computer can't handle everything happening at once at start up - getting SP running, etc - so it just stops. If I give it a couple of minutes to settle in before enabling OKW, it's fine.

 

I'm not sure this is the same type of "freeze." It sounds like you're describing the very slow startup that occurs when the game begins? And you have to wait, sometimes a looong time for the game to catch up and you can play. The freeze we're talking about stops the game from responding completely and it has to be forced shut down using task manager. No matter how long we wait, the game does not continue.

Just had a bug where a neighbor's dog was walking around with a penis and the owner was standing by in the Kinky panties, but I had Kinky set to "Disabled." Also disabled the Dog feature before disabling Kinky. It appeared that they were about to "engage," or had just finished. It was a custom world that I was visiting using Traveler. Kinky is enabled in the homeworld, but I disabled it before traveling and kept it disabled after arrival.

 

I tried resetting them both, but the penis was still there. Even evicted them and moved in the original copy of the family. It fixed the owner's clothing, but not the dog.

 

I also keep seeing other sims running around naked and using the toilet naked (or partially) and can't figure out how to stop it.

 

ETA: I may have an answer to the naked sims problem. I use Awesomod, and it copies an outfit (supposedly Everyday) and applies it to Career and Outerwear if they are missing. It may be somehow copying the outfit KW uses and would explain my suddenly uninhibited sims. Can anyone who uses Awesomod confirm if they are seeing this also?

 

The sims who use the toilet, however, are fully clothed before they strip and redress themselves afterwards.

So I'm curious about the inclusion of zoophilia into OKW.  Of all the kinks out there, it's an interesting choice.  Did you decide to include it because the Pets expansion pack made it viable?  If there was an expansion pack for costumes including a lot of leather and whips and prop furniture featuring chain and handcuffs, would we have gotten a BDSM OKW?

hello pinstripesc, you can find a more natural looking dog penis on page 24 of this thread.  It was created by GECK.O, I have used it in game it is really nice and natural looking.  I believe it is halfway down on that page.  I hope this was helpful. :)

I've asked this question before but I'm not sure if you saw it :) Is it possible for guys to woohoo with dogs the same way girls currently do it? like not with a female dog, just using the existing animation?

i want this too, male sims woohooing with dogs using the same animation that females use. i don't see why it wouldn't work ?

 

i tested this in the game using cheats, and it didn't look off imo. i know oniki disabled the interaction for males because there wasn't any "appropriate animations for males," but i mean, a guy being penetrated in the butt by a dog is JUST AS INAPROPRIATE as a girl being penetrated in the vajayjay by a dog, so really, i don't see the problem with using the same animation.

Do actions done through Animated Woohoo mod counts toward skills, or do they have to be done through Kinky World? My sims had a lot of woohoos through animated woohoo, but none of it got counted in the sex skill. However, they got pretty high exhibitionist skill, though they rarely got naked in public.

I was wondering if sims ever have autonomous sex on the floor with this mod? My sims always seem to move to an object, unless I direct them to do it without one.

They used to have auto sex on the floor more often but changes to the xml format in v2.0 altered that. Lady666 has added the keyword "Rug" to her floor anims, Masteranimations KW version also has "Rug" so put some rugs down and you`ll see them doing auto floor anims.

 

Amra hasn`t put rug in his release yet, but I`ve altered my copy of it. You can find CC stuff out there that acts as a rug but looks like decor..e.g bloody footprints at :

The very slow start up is probably from the mods loading.  A complete freeze is either something wrong with the game or the computer.  I have had a few times that freeze the game and have to task it out but not very often and doesn't usually reoccur .  Try a vanilla game.  You can play your saved games that way as well but they will have replaced items so don't save.  Play that for a while and see if you get the complete freeze to where you have to task it out.  If you do then its probably the game or computer.  But if it doesn't then it is probably a mod conflicting or depending on how much you have in your CC's and Mods folders could be to much for the computer to handle.
