Sacremas Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 That sounds familiar, did you use TES5Edit to make a patch or did you change anything? If so you need the latest version of TES5Edit to do it or you will crash like that, redo the patches with the new version. Second option, when do you crash exactly, do ENBSeries text load up in upper right corner? If not then you have a missing master or otherwise a conflict that skyrim can't manage on it's own, load your entire load order in TES5Edit and see if anything pops out. If you get further and you get to where the smoke should normally come up right before the main menu (Continue, Load Game, etc) then you have an interface error or the like. This is the point you get to in case of the TES5Edit old version. Did you recently install any new mods that could cause it, either by themselves or by conflicting with and overwriting something else? For example a mod may have corrupted either SKSE (unlikely) or SkyUI.
Skippe Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 thank you sacremas ill look it bit further as i have looked around net some solutions have had been sound option settings changin 16 bit 44100 excample or lookin skyrim ini and changin something there not remeber what was it tought . skse and skyui seems to work normally it is probably something else as you have said .oh boy i have loong work ahead it seems . crashes comes in betheshada logo so it can depend many litle things
Sacremas Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 You shouldn't have the Bethesda logo at all if you're using the inis I told you guys to install, please go back to first page and set up your inis right and then see when you crash, if you crash instantly on game startup it's one thing, if you crash a few moments after when smoke should come it's another.
LidiaSun Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 searching all the time results in questions. So as I wanted to cut a corner of a wall (you cant see it neither in interior nor in exterior) I found that in order to change textures and meshes you have to install gimp with dds plugin, nifskope 1.1.3.36, blender, python 2.6.6, FO3 Archive utility for bsa files. Of course you can have also other programs photoshop/gimp, 3dsMax/blender. Is this all correct? And if yes why the hell creation kit didn't had some tools to change, cut, add e.t.c. textures and meshes? I know why I am asking a company who released a buggy game why haven't made better tool kit ... yep my fault apologize So many programs just to make a small house with not having walls passing outside the interior cell lol
D_ManXX2 Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 i was wondering if there is something about this ?? previously there was skse system that allowed to use multiple hair mods normally it would simply crash your game when used too many hair mods at the same time. Somehow i seem to have this crash again but this time it is not about hair but trying to build stuff like clothes or armor etc.. is there something that can be done about this usually i just get a screen freeze when scrolling the list with a mouse wheel.
Sacremas Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 What's your SKSE.ini at? Are you using ENB with ENBoost properly?
D_ManXX2 Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Not sure. getting SKSE and ENB boost to work at the same time, seem to be tricky on my machine. SKSE is default settings 768 and 256
Sacremas Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 Try setting it up to what I have on the first page and see if that improves it. Also go into enblocal.ini, find this line; VideoMemorySizeMb Then try setting it to RAM+VRAM-2048. If you get CTDs with that find your VideoMemory like I pointed out before and imput that.
Skippe Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 i deactivated all my mods first then i uninstalled skyrim after that i went my speakers properties and setted it 16 bit 4400 and skyrim ini files .i noticed that my old graphic card was only one regonized there so i deleted them and installed skyrim and mods again . whew after that bethesada logo and new game continue and etc come normally . im not really sure what worked at these after all that but now i am actully able to play skyrim again it was probably some small things that crashed me to desktop as you said sacremas .
Sacremas Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 Heads up, there's a new SKSE "Beta" (quotation marks because it's going to stay "beta" regardless of stability until .4 comes out), and it has a new functionality. If you input in your SKSE.ini file EnableDiagnostics=1 under the [General] tab, it's supposed to give you detailed crash reports as to exaclty why you crashed, like which master you're missing, which files were removed, etc. I'm guessing you can see how useful this can be to us heavy modders constantly running into these issues. I'm enabling it in my game now then running into combat with Dragon Combat Overhaul and trying to crash the game to see it in action!
Sacremas Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 Okay I can't find any crash long if such was meant to be made, but when attempting to load a game where an ESP was missing, "Warning: this save relies upon..:" box mentioned the ESP that was missing. This could be a very useful thing at times.
Sweatington Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Awesome guide man. Will save a lot of newcomers lot of trouble! Nice work!
Sacremas Posted May 28, 2015 Author Posted May 28, 2015 Submit combined with Fire and Ice Overhaul can have interesting results; http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/541901991514370903/F0D3BD4D1CE1008F6D9AEBC44212DD619F4B3263/ I'm currently running all of ApolloDown's mods, no problems at all as of yet and I just hit 32. I'm also running Wet & Cold, iNeed, Holidays, Frostfall, Hunterborn, Harvest Overhaul and Equipping Overhaul, all over fairly heavy mods, and I'm having no issues at all as of yet. I had to get rid of Enhanced Mighty Dragons because Deadly + Dragon Combat Overhaul just simply made it too hard when combined with Ultimate Combat and Combat Evolved, I had to have tried 20 times to kill Mirmulnir and failed, when he finally actually managed to kill me on Novice I just had to give up. I'm also running Death Alternative, had one nice scene while fighting Mirmulnir during that, I got killed, combat ended while he circled above and occasionally knocked Irileth down to staggered, meanwhile I snuck off and poahed some vegetables, killed a Flame Lurker (Monster Mod, I'm running both that and Immersive Creatures) and a troll, then I made vegetable soup and potion of regeneration, then went back to figth Mirmulnir, but his goddamn fireballs one-shotted me every time despite me having something like 300 health (level 20), so I had to give up that game as well after I'd died about 6 consequitive times with no reload, just die, respawn at temple (or Rorikstead inn once) and run back. It got too silly and the dragon was next to immortal unless I cheated and gave myself x20 damage. It seems the new versions of Dragon Combat Overhaul does a lot of the same stuff that Enhanced Mighty Dragons does, Mirmulnir had over 4000 health and a lot of armor and immunities, same as Enhanced Mighty would have given or close, so it seems like if you're running Dragon Combat Overhual you should not run Enhanced Migthty. EMD is completley script-free however, so a very viable alternative if not quite as fun as DCO is to run EMD + Ultimate Dragons (animations, kill moves, special attacks) + Deadly Dragons, it'll be less punishing on your system and less prone to errors and will still give you a big challenge. To make all this work I made sure to take out both Enhanced Blood (which has a cloak script, and is kinda bugged, all of the blood mods are bugged) and Sexlab Aroused (I'm running Framework, Submit, Werewolves, SOS Light, Solutions, Succubus Heart and Amorous Adventures) as well as any sort of combat effect scripts like Deadly Impacts (conflicts slightly with Fire and Ice Overhaul) and Bloody Facials (script intensive for what it does, and bugged like the other three blood mods). I'm running Deadly Mutilation and melded it with Imperious Racials, and Mutilation provides a lot of bloodletting and Fallout style gore (severed limbs, exploded torsos, people cut in two, etc) still even without the blood mods.
phayzon11 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 First off, thanks for all the work that went into this post. It was really helpful for troubleshooting some of my issues. Got a lot of good recommendations off of it as well. I've only really tested Sexlab on what I'd consider "throw away" playthroughs. But I really would like to use it on a stable playthough for immersion purposes. Unfortunately, I have little to no knowledge on what sexlab mods are... "stable." This is the mod list I was thinking of using: # This file was automatically generated by Mod Organizer.Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmUnofficial Skyrim Patch.espDawnguard.esmUnofficial Dawnguard Patch.espHearthFires.esmUnofficial Hearthfire Patch.espDragonborn.esmUnofficial Dragonborn Patch.espFalskaar.esmWyrmstooth.espSexLab.esmGray Fox Cowl.esmCampfire.esmRSkyrimChildren.esmEFFCore.esmCreatureFramework.esmTERAArmors.esmZaZAnimationPack.esmCutting Room Floor.espChesko_WearableLantern.espBeards.espRaceMenuPluginXPMSE.espMoreNastyCritters.espConvenient Horses.espUIExtensions.espFantasy Soundtrack Project.espFSP - Dragonborn Edition.espSexLabNudeCreatures.espSexLabNudeCreaturesDB.espTheEyesOfBeauty.espSkyUI.espDual Sheath Redux.espSkyCompleteFalskaar.espEnhancedLightsandFX.espFNISSexyMove.espAuto Unequip Ammo.espFrostmourne.espAMatterOfTime.espLich King's Armor.espHelmetToggle2.02b.espiHUD.espBishop.espNonSexLabAnimationPack.espProper Aiming.espRaceMenu.espRaceMenuPlugin.espBlackSacramentDBReplacer.espSexLabNudeCreaturesDG.espELFX - Dragonborn.espLegacyoftheDragonbornV13.espCollegeOfWinterholdImmersive.espELFX - Dawnguard.espFSP - Dawnguard Edition.espGDZZJJDH.espJKs Skyrim.espApachiiSkyHair.espSkyComplete3DNPC.espSkyCompleteLegendary.espSkyCompleteWyrmstooth.espTrueBrows.espThe Eyes Of Beauty - Elves Edition.espUnreadBooksGlow.espWetandCold.espAOS.espDeadlySpellImpacts.esp3DNPC.espDarkbroSanctuary.espHearthfireMultiKid.espHearthfireMultiKid_LastName.esp3DNPC_Dragonborn.espPurity.espELFXEnhancer.espSSv2.espHelgen Reborn.espThieves Guild Redone.espCWIELnFXPatch.espCWIDawnDragonPatch.espethereal_elven_overhaul.espInteresting NPCs - EEO patch.espBetterDarkBrotherhood.espImmersive Weapons.espEEO - USP (2.0.4a) Patch.espCatlike Khajiit + NPCs.espBrothers.espImmersive Sounds - Compendium.espThunderchild - Epic Shout Package.espMoonAndStar_MAS.espHunting in Skyrim.espAspen Manor.espHothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp1nivWICCloaks.espEMCompViljaSkyrim.espEMViljaInSolstheimAddOn.espHentaiCreatures.espBrhuceLegacy.espInigo.espTKMN_MoreAdoptableChildren.espMy_Little_kitty_non_replaced.espQaxeWinterholdRebuild.espThunderchild - Wyrmstooth Compatibility Patch.espdD - Enhanced Blood Main.espISCompendium Enhanced Blood Patch.espdD-Dragonborn-Dawnguard-EBT Patch.espAOS2_DSI Patch.espISCompendium AOS Patch.espWintermyst - Enchantments of Skyrim.esparnima.espEFFDialogue.espRSChildren_CompleteUSKP.espSexLab-AmorousAdventures.espWheelsOfLull.espSave the Dark Brotherhood!.espAesirArmor.espRewardYourFollowers.espThe Paarthurnax Dilemma.esp3DNPC - Winterhold Mods Patch.espBrevi_MoonlightTales.espBlackSacramentArmor.espApocalypse - The Spell Package.espMy_Little_hatchling.espvAutosaveManager.esp WintermystPatcher.esp Dual Sheath Redux Patch.espRequiem.esp3DNPC - Requiem Patch.esp3DNPC Followers Perk Addon - Requiem Edition.espISCompendium Requiem Patch.espAOS2_WetandCold Patch.espRSC Requiem Patch All DLC.espAOS2_Requiem Patch.esp Requiem for the Indifferent.espAlternate Start - Live Another Life.espSexLabSolutions_LAL_Patch.esp PureVision ENB and Skryim Realistic Overhaul also I have a great rig, and have no lag or issues running texture enhancements or enbs, I only have issues when it comes to too many scripted mods and the script lag they create. I haven't had a chance to test this list yet (work and college ugh) but do any conflicts immediately jump out at anyone? And stability wise, anything? I've ran stable playthroughs before with all these mods minus the Sexlab mods. But so many of them are script heavy. I'm more than willing to sacrifice mods for the sake of stability though. For example, as much as I adore Wet and Cold and Requiem, I can and have lived without them if need be. Also speaking of Sexlab mods: any idea how stable the bigger quest ones are? Like The Sisterhood of Dibella, A Forsworn Story, or From the Deeps? I'd love to use them, but like I said, stability.
Sacremas Posted May 28, 2015 Author Posted May 28, 2015 Requiem could be an issue, it conflicts with basically everything and needs patch after patch. You probably have about 20 fewer patches than you actually need for Requiem in my experience. Can I suggest SPERG instead? Mainly for compatibility's sake. A lot of stuff in Requiem is just plain broken like spell experience according to the author of Apocalypse, who's probably the single modder I respect the most (if you ever played Diablo modded he was then known as BrotherLaast). If you enjoy things from Requiem like the lethality, carry weight and such these are easy to replicate in other systems. Also make sure to run LOOT on this, I'm seeing some load order conflicts. Otherwise good you found this useful! Now I see you're running More Nasty Critters and such, but I don't immediately see any ability to actually sex up those critters, you need something like Untamed, Bestial Essences (currently down), Cum Shot Brothel or Submit or Defeat to initiate sex with these creatures, otherwise it's a wasted ESP. Nothing in your list looks out of place and otherwise its' a good list. Is this for a male or female play? Since I think I saw Skyrim Romance MOd in there it's probably female, also not many would put bestiality mods in while playing as male. Always make your mod list with keeping in mind what kind of a character you're going to play, one "mod list to rule them all, to bring them all together and in the darkness bind them" really doesn't work in my experience, you can't both set up a superhero play and a hardcore survival play, or even both a werewolf and vampire play, scripts will end up conflictign with each other and cause you issues later on.

Very true! For all that I've played with Requiem, I've never really noticed a huge need for all the patches. Most of them are just for "balance" which I never had too much of an issue with (or at least haven't noticed). I'll give SPERG another look. It was incredibly hard to pick between Requiem, SPERG, and SkyRe (or Perkimus Maximus for that matter). As for More Nasty Crittersm I added that because I was anticipating using A Forsworn Story, and then backed off when I was worried it would be too buggy. I could remove it otherwise. And yeah, I typically play female. Forgive my ignorance, what is the actual difference between Submit and Defeat? They seem almost like the same thing. Is one more stable than the other? Thank you, also, for your reply. I appreciate the help from a user more advanced than I.
Sacremas Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 Eh, more advanced just means I've already made all the mistakes and gotten my game ruined more times than you, nothing more. Defeat as afar as I can tell (I never used it that much) is mostly an automatic thing, sex almost always happens when coditions are met. Submit you have to tick auto-submit to be combat raped, and have to define what level of creature support you should have for it (default is none, only NPCs can rape). The biggest advantage with Submit and reaosn I'm using it however is the ability to rape NPCs yourself if you feel like it, this cna even be used to solve game bugs (say a companion goes berserk on you, you make them submit and then let them go (raping is optional) and they are calm again and reset), as well as a very robust dialogue system to ask for sex eithe via persuasion, bribery or intimidaiton (rape), which can also be used to initiate threesomes. SPERG's main ability is that unlike SkyRe (Outdated, possibly buggy by now, no longer maintained), Requiem or PerMa (horribly bugged still, wait a year or so before trying it), both SPERG and ACE (also good, very modular, can be used if you want to use for example Better Magic for the magic section) do not require almost any patches at all, because they do not use reproccers. This means virtually anything that's compatible with the base unmodded Skyrim (and everything not specifically made fror one of those three systems are) will work without anything extra with SPERG or ACE. WIth Requiem you need a patch for Vilja for example to give her Requiem stats for followers or she will be alternatley both underpowered and overpowered compared to all other followers, etc. With SPERG you just plunk her in mid play and she works fine. I also like SPERG becuase it deals with every aspect of the game, combat, stagger, enchantment, monsters, factions, mining, and so on and does so in a very unintrusive way that doesn't care all too much if you don't like some parts of it and wants to change it, you can change most of how the magic system and combat system works with using SkyTweak from inside the game for example and SPERG will just keep working fine. Also all the perks in SPERG are hugely powerful, a perk you pick up on skill 15 of a skill is as powerful as a perk you pick up on skill 100 with the others, but you only get one perk every 2 levels.
Old Book Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 There are a few mods (Apocalypse Spell Pack, Dwemer Tech, maybe others) that need a patch to work completely with SPERG, but yes, it's a much more flexible choice than PERMA. Also, SPERG lets you disable its changes to perk trees one tree at a time, and with SkyTweak you can fine tune to an amazing degree. I really wanted to love PERMA. It's a great idea, and it seriously makes Skyrim far more difficult without sending you against endless hordes of enemies (particularly by nerfing potions, enchanting, smithing, and illusion). But it turned spell vendors into an ugly mess even if I included every patch and added mods to the exclusion lists, and a ton of perks didn't work as advertised even with PERMA's own spells. And making the PERMA patch took my machine all night, which was a problem considering how often I liked switching mods around.
Sacremas Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 PerMa has the potential to be the best perk mod, it certainly has some of the best ideas, but the execution so far is lacking. It would have done good with being in playtesting for another couple of months at least. I regret backing out of the alpha testers group as soon as I did, but the mod was at that point nearly unplayable and it was getting too much work-like for my tastes. And good catch on the spell mods! Yeah some spells need SPERG patches, Forgotten Magic kinda needs it for the bound weapons which do not benefit from the bound weapon perks, but the rest of FMR works. Enai is one of the only modders who pays serious attention to multiple mods and works hard to ensure compatibility.
phayzon11 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Well I've decided to give SPERG a try. And thank you for explaining the difference between Submit and Defeat as well. Hopefully my game will be stable, and I'll consider adding some other sexlab stuff on a different playthrough if this one turns out stable enough. Modding is such a delicate flower after all.
D_ManXX2 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 i have asked this question here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/28253-hyd-slavegirls/page-29?do=findComment&comment=1187590 But maybe it will be better here: Does anyone know how to fix the navmesh when using this mod and other city overhauls like ETAC expanded towns and cities. or JKs skyrim ?? Somehow when using this mod all navmesh looks messed up especially in Riverwood or other small towns where this mod is also editing to place npc's around ?? I was wondering how to fix the navmesh somehow the npc is not walking the way it should and slave girls is making many mods incompatible this way.
Sacremas Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 Load up TES5Edit, and check only the mod that ruined the navmesh. Once it's loaded in left click and select Apply filter to detect conflict losers, or something like that, the mod will light up very badly, open that go into world I think and then compare that to base Skyrim that also loaded, find all the worldspace alterations and drag and drop them over from one column to the next. Note that this will almost certainly kill some of the mod's functionalities as well presumably (or those navmeshes wouldn't have been broekn in the first place) but better that than have NPCs stand still and unmovable and companions being unable to pass through. Note that I'm using Hydra Slavegirls and JK's Skyrim on one of my profiles, and I have no issues at all with broken navmeshes, everyone's moving around as they should.
Sacremas Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 Well I've decided to give SPERG a try. And thank you for explaining the difference between Submit and Defeat as well. Hopefully my game will be stable, and I'll consider adding some other sexlab stuff on a different playthrough if this one turns out stable enough. Modding is such a delicate flower after all. Here's some addons that will make SPERG even better! I highly recommend both of these, they've made my game much better! http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43971/?- an alternative uncapper, very nicely balanced, removes some of the few issues I had with the mod. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42796/?- Enchanting Awakened, a brilliant Enchanting system I've started using on all profiles, it rebalances enchanting substantially so that it's much more fair and you don't have to restrain yourself from becoming a godling quite as much (you still do at very higher levels, but then High Level enemies, ASIS and Deadly Dragons/Monsters will help you still find challenges). It changes enchanting to be revolved aroun three paths of perks, Corpus which is the warrior/paladin/tank line, Chaos which is the spellblade/battlemage line that amplifies your destruction and other damage skills, and Aether which is the Assassin/Thief/Nightblade line. Now this is important; you can only be ONE of these three, normally you can easily be all of them and become hugely overpowered, now you have to make your choice and whichever you choose will easily be 60 % better than the others. Some of SPERG's more powerful perks like Artifacts needing no charge or potions becoming much stronger or even vanilla double enchantment on one item are limited to trees (Aether gets the normal Twin enchantment at 100 %, Chaos gets three enchantments on one item at 70 % strength, Corpus never gets more than one enchantment but the Corpus enchantments become double to x2.5 times as strong, as will all weapon enchantments). Once you take your second perk in one path that locks you in one path. Note also that mods that add new enchantments like Wintermyst is incompatible with the current version of EA, but there's a v2 coming hopefully soon that is Wintermyst compatible and has a ini to let you insert enchantments from other mods as well. In v2 your enchantments will gain strength as you use items enchanted that way, swing a fire sword and it's damage will go up, block with a shield with enahnced block and you can block more and more damage, without ever reenchanting the item.
Old Book Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Enai does by far the best spell mods anyone has managed for Skyrim. Well balanced and with patches available for major overhauls, and all of the Apocalypse spells feel like they should have been there from the beginning. I wouldn't play without Apocalypse and Dwemertech (which is also an excellent dungeon crawl / quest mod). Spectraverse is an excellent quest, but I never got any use out of the spells once the quest was over. I just had too many other ways to blow people up or set them on fire. The only real technical problem I'm facing right now is getting my merged patch right. Actually finding and fixing every NPCs appearance is something I'm going to have to work up to. Thanks for the links to videos you posted up thread.
