Glad Ciri isn't a "real" char though, don't really like her anyway...having Ciri as a "real" char to go around with ... would be a story-telling and balance-nightmare ...

Just like how, videogames from unlawful games of '90 turned into a polite teenager mentally games but rated as M rating. Just like how the early Elder Scroll games transformed into Oblivion/Skyrim. Somehow, I feel Dibella don't have any role in the game anymore, as it just like shameful relic from the past. How the dark immoral world of Fallout 1 and 2, became a moral beacon of the '50 lately. Today game formula: - It's all about moral choice between good vs bad. (choosing as bad, you will be punished heavily) - The game try to be sexy in their marketing, but you will not find any in the game. At best, it's a high school romance.

CDPR knows they need more time to finish the game so they chose to delay it rather then release it in an incomplete form. agreed there nothing worst than unfinished bugged piece of sht... Yeah there is absolutely nothing worse then releasing an incomplete product that needs to be constantly fixed or completed via add ons that you force your consumer to purchase secondary of the main product. EA and Ubisoft are the worst of the lot by far. I must now something from laugh, what was with The Witcher 1 and 2? these two games were absolutely bug infested that both games had to be completely revised. and you "think" with The witcher 3 it will be better? I played the Witcher 2 at the release day and there weren't that many bugs. Just some intuitive stuff like ; lack of tutorial , crappy inventory system , no fast travel. Also Enhanced Edition added a lot of new stuff ( hey even a barber ) and other things that were requested by fans. Along with the bugfixes. It was also done for free. In Witcher 1 If i recall correctly CDPR added a custom campaigns made by fans, again free of charge. *Meanwhile in ME3* they cut out 1 follower and sold him later. She is Geralt's great love, and as much I like triss I already see it impossible for me to choose Triss over her (at least in the first playthrough). Geralt and Yen are lovers beyond reason, meant for each other, bound by more than just love...bound by destiny (dramatic music!) Spoiler contains some background-Info on Ciri... Ciri is Geralt's adopted daughter through some prophecy. She was a princess of Cintra, born under unusual circumstances and, by some plot-stuff, ended up promised (though not as wife) to Geralt. Later, when Nilfgaard burned Cintra to the ground Ciri escaped, Geralt rescued her and brought her to Kaer Morhen, giving her basic Witcher training. Triss sees her as a little sister, Yennefer even came to love her as a daughter (which makes geralt and Yen her step-parents ... Ciri is a master-swordswoman and ... has very special elven blood, giving her rather unique powers. She is actually too powerful, but a writer always finds a way to rectify this for a game ^^ A DLC could cover the time parallel to Geralt's come-back, as early as Witcher 1 thoguh taking place in the Witcher 3 areas, for example. Or in a totally new enviroment. Or parallel to Witcher 3, telling parts of the story from her perspective. Or take place AFTER the game, tackling Ciri's unique relationsjip with the Nilfgaardian Emperor Emhyr... I don't say it is surely going to happen, but it would be possible to do such a thing, and I wouldn't be surprised. Ciri, being Witcher-trained, playable already in parts in the main-game, and having magical powers would make for a nice main char...

I mean, of course, "Yennefer". I know that Geralt is connected to Yennefer and that they were separated by a heavy stroke of fate. but if he loves so much, then why is Geralt as a great son of a bitch? In this game there will always be pain give, the end is a "end full of suffering", either for Triss or for Yennefer, no "happy ending"!

Triss and Yenna are very good friends, and Yenna was quite cool with the fact that Geralt and Triss slept together for a while (before the games). I am pretty sure we'll be able to choose for Geralt, mabye even a third "neutral" path... And I am ratehr sure that people that only played the games will prefer Triss, while people knowing the short-stories and books might tend more to Yenna, considering she is and always will be Geralt's love (and I was so glad they finally adressed this issue in Witcher 2...^^) However...I also hope for a funny comeback of Shani, the cute poor little thing that got written out of the story with the snap of a finger ^^ @Winny: Son of a bitch? Geralt? In the games, first of all, he suffers from RPG-Amnesia, so no memories of Yen, plenty of opportunities to screw other ladies without much regret. And reading the stories you learn the relationship between Yen and Geralt isn't easy. It's on off, they sometimes hate each other, only to realize they cannot live without each other. They can hardly express their love with words or admit it, saying the words "I love you" does never happen iirc. Yet still they do. Its what makes it so funny and interesting. They both also had other relations going (monogamy is not for Sorceresses and Witchers ^^), only to always end up together again anyway ... until the end of the books, which leads to the games...
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 If I remember right Shani told Geralt she didn't want to see him ever again if you chose Triss over her so that pretty much explains why she wasn't in the story for 2 if you chose that route but I agree it seems odd that she disappeared in 2 even if you chose her in 1.

But these videos with crappy graphics console gameplay, should be forbidden they look AWEFUL. As long as it was ported well to the PC, I'm OK with it. You just need to buy a xbox controller. Usually console ported game, best played with controller. Navigate the menu, as well as playing the game... you will have no complain and addicted to it. And console ported game makes your PC life cycle longer before you upgrade or replace it. My PC is 4+ years old, medium spec and I can still play many recent games until PS4 era.
