Load all the mods together in TES5EDIT and search for conflicts, thenthe mods who had the same reference, I just decided which I should keep and deleting those that I do not want, and I like that for each one, and just saving 2. Load all the mods in Mator Smash, apply the patch and it was done One of those 2, probably the 1st option is the safest meanwhile the 2nd is the fastest
iluvanimetiddies Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 So uh, I've been trying to find NPC Overhauls for Skyrim Special Edition (SSE), normal NPC's are covered in Bijin and Pandorable but for the random Thalmor, Bandit, Forsworn etc enemy NPC's I haven't had much luck. There's botox which makes all the characters look the same but I'm just wondering if there's anything else? I tried porting the JH mods from naver but kept getting CTD's do have given up. I'm just wondering if there's anything else available for SSE ready made? (Alternatively if someone has a working stable port of the JH mods that'd be nice, it'd also be great if the requirements and whether I need to use the oldrim, or the SSE version, and whether or not I just need the textures, or the esp's active too could be spelled out). Sorry! I'm sure you get this kind of question alot.

There is Kmato Credit Overhaul (was on Nexus but due to permission issues was removed), you can take a look & get it with a quick google search (has some requirements but it changes the random NPC). It alsochanges child race NPC to an adult version, but a quick edit with SSEdit, removing the child NPC references from the mod and you are good to go.

Ah that looks perfect minus the child npc's which are easily dealt with. I'll try and look for it, so far I've found a reddit link to the LE version but SSE still eludes me, do let me know if anyone has it!

It's all the JH mods from sidearm93, combined with Skyrim Beautiful Followers from hrk1025. 1

sranger Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 so I've been trying to convert some of the JH NPC mods to SE, and I've had problems with banditfemale.esp. It adds some new NPC records into the game for new female guard variants, but they all are getting brown faces (missing face mesh). What's weird is the face mesh .nif definitely exists for them, it's sitting in the right place under banditfemale.esp in facegeom. Not sure what the fix is here to get these working, otherwise I'm just going to have to delete these new records. Puzzling how it works in Oldrim but not special edition. If anyone has fixed this on their own or has any guidance, let me know
Lelgato Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 believe what i did was delete the extra face geom folders for the jh mods since the jh mods have the same meshes in skyrim.esm folder. they conflict if you have the same meshes in two different folders

sranger Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 So I've successfully converted the JH mods to SE. What caused the CTDs were the facegeom head nifs from the new guard variants from JH Bandit. Fix them via nifoptimizer. The generic vampires in dawnguard also have issues, but I found a version posted around page 31 of this thread where they fixed it (basically changing race to normal (nord, elf, etc.) from vampire race). Most of the generic faces are fixed by this, save by one. I'm using multiple esps because I found it easier to debug, rather than use the one combined merged esp that seem to be the most popular. It's possible it still has the Solitude NPC issue with the execution, but I overrode a lot of those NPCs with other replacers. 1

But I ran into a bug. The new Argonian race horn textures are not showing properly. Can anyone please help with this? Because other than that, this mod runs just fine on Special Edition even though it was built for Legendary Edition.

I've sort of been able to port it. the CTDs like I mentioned earlier are due to the new head mesh NIFs made in the bandit replacer. You'll have to SSE NIf optimize them to convert them. Im also using a record 43 for the JH ALL NPC esp ( the one that has them all in one .esp). Using record 44 fucks things up and causes the head meshes not to load properly).
