I'm a bit about the other social aspects of this race.

Ah these are really good questions, and something to be honest I really should have added into the description. I will be doing that very soon.

 

As for just quick notes, they're typically pretty reserved and like to keep to themselves. Some more paranoid than others. The ones who aren't are however quite loud, boisterous and boastful.

Can't exactly blame them since skyrim is... not exactly the most friendly place for a strange, unfamiliar race (not as hostile as 3rd era morrowind, but still)

I dunno about the claw ability TBH, based on the pics, doesn't look like it really fits. They don't really look like they have actual fighting claws like the Khajiits do, but rather "grabbing claws" for easier gripping of slippery surfaces or fishes.

 

Perhaps a version of it that's only about 1/2, 1/3, or 1/4th as strong as the Khajiit claw? In exchange, I'd suggest a more fitting ability to add onto the longer breath time ability...

 

- Swift Swim: Cellans move 2x as fast underwater, 4x when not wearing anything, making water a much more convienient way of travel for the otter people.

They have no real hate for any of the races' date=' except some of the... less trustworthy, elven subclasses. Also not so fond of Orcs, they being rather... unintelligent by their standards. Or so their knowledge of them is.

Yep. Pretty much. They have no qualms about these sort of things in the slightest.

Realism is good, but I'd still recommend some sort of stylistic approach as well. You want to put something in that is unique - though you're pretty much doing right now, anyway - that says "Hey, I made this mod." Know what I mean?

 

On a somewhat related note, do you have plans to use hairs for this race?

 

I do indeed plan to use hairs. But bald will of course be an option. And yes, I do see what you mean. Perhaps a light bit more modification to make it more unique is in order.

If it's anything like converting other files I should have no trouble doing it for you. If I get some spare time I'll do it for you.

 

I'll post screenshots in the next post of what is done so far.

Seeing as how Skyrim deals with races as opposed to Oblivion, I'm relatively sure that converting races is completely impossible.

...i get the feeling i going to need to stay awake....for the rest of my life...in order to avoid that.
