ukiaiko Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 I got a problem here,each time the Master fetch any Slave(NPC), after Master said "get out of it !" and the NPC just keep stadning there,do nothing..so the game will just like stuck..forever..Wait or sleep or reload the game won't help... I've tried whiterun and the foxclub...with new game,the result are the same... any suggestion??

I'd really rather not abandon this 130 hour game... I tried manual edit mariadefaults.json but that didn't help either. If you don't have any hint, i guess i will stay with 1.20 instead or maybe try a savegame before i installed 1.20, but that is also 20 hours ago...

I tried with savegame before i install 1.20 Maria Eden, and it works fine with 1.21! So... i guess... i have to go back to that save or stay with 1.20?
aqqh Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Finish enslavement, pimp quest or whatever else. Do a clean save. Use save cleaner tool to wipe out any leftovers. Update to 1.21. There is a good chance this would work.

I've done testing among other things and I'm rather certain it is a bug with Maria Eden at this point. I am running the current version of Maria Eden with no other mods other than the requirements (well except for Live Another Life for convenience) and a clean save. The bug works out as follows. Create a new character. I started them as patron of the Whiterun Tavern. Head to the Whiterun Stables and purchase a horse. Default amount is 1000 (player(dot)additem 0000000F 1000) Mount horse and start riding past Maria Eden's House. The character will separate from the horse. The camera will be focused on the horse while movement control affects both actors. The only way I found to unstuck yourself was to reload or fast travel to the nearest city. This bug occurs in all directions if you go far enough. I was trying to figure out how to fix the bug on my own. I installed Mod Organizer at your recommendation and it works great. I just have issues compiling scripts with it. I found that I should be able to compile with Advanced Papyrus or Sublime Papyrus but I have yet to get them to work. The only issue I had with compiling Maria Eden was the Chargen variable being undefined in the MariaEdensTools(dot)psc . If you have the time to try and look at this on the side that'd be great. Its not something too important to the development of Maria Eden so I'd understand it if you don't. In the meantime I'm going to continue to try and solve in on my own (frustrating, but fun). If you have any advice on compiling with Mod Organizer or that Chargen variable, that'd be most appreciated. I'm suspicious of the event OnCellDetach() in the MariaPlayer(dot)psc it seems like you might be riding through cell borders when it happens. (dot)* forum thought I was posting links with a new account. Oh I had that glitch too, I was wondering if it was because of Maria Eden or my nuclear skyrim installation

chipstick Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 As a suggestion/request: Would it be possible to make it so completion of Maria-Eden quests doesn't spam the quest journal? After playing for just 2 hours, my character has nearly 30 whoring quest entries in the completed quests section of the journal. Contrary to advice given, some of us do try to play Skyrim between encounters with slavers and pimps!

Install notepad++ plus NPPExec Plugin and call NPPExec Execute (F6) and add this line: C:\steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\Papyrus Compiler\PapyrusCompiler.exe" $(FILE_NAME) -f="TESV_Papyrus_Flags.flg" -i=" C:\Steam\Mod Organizer\overwrite\Scripts\Source" -o="C:\Steam\Mod Organizer\overwrite\Scripts Adapt the paths to your steam, MO and overwrite folder. Now you can compile from within Notepad++ - and you can mail us your compile error

I'm guessing this is from the Esmir section - I spent a lot of time dealing with this since every time it happened I had to reload, and saving the game in there caused it to crash almost every time. Put those together and I spent a few hours getting through those sessions The best thing to do here I found is just reload, make sure to save after every session (and before he chooses the next target) so if Esmir chooses someone else then you can try again. A word of warning though - there isn't much reason to get through those trainings at the moment anyway from what I can tell - you get a choice at the end of either becoming a slave or a whore like the choice at startup - the slave option loops the Esmir section again (makes you do the sessions again) while the whore option is probably the same as the whore startup option (gives you to either Wanda or someone else iirc).

I got the compiler working through Notepad++ and I gotta say, its a major relief to no longer have to launcher the CK for scripting. Anyway, I put the sources for the following in my Mod Organizer/overwrite/scripts/source file folder. These are all the sources I added, as well as the order I added them, replacing any conflicts. You need RaceMenu with loose scripts to compile Maria Eden - that contains chargen

It stops happening. I realized because you fall off the moment "Maria Eden's House" appears in the upper right corner of your screen. So one of these functions are reseting the player and breaks horse riding. But most of my quests wont work if you disable this I found the problem area. halieslade Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 So far, I've had a few issues but mainly just with animations locking up. I've been able to work around them either by using the MCM or by saving/loading. I have yet to be able to get very far with my character, between the customers refusing to pay, or refusing to pay me more than a few septims (I assume that's because she's inexperienced?). But last night I had a brand new issue. I'm on my 3rd new restart with Maria Eden, and I'm in the club in Solitude. I managed to get sold to Gisli (more animation issues during the sale but managed to complete it), and was plying my trade in the Ponytail. I took about 15 or 20 clients without issue. Had to do some real life stuff, so I saved and quit. Came back and upon loading, my skin texture is black and the Maria dialog doesn't show at all ("Would you like to have some fun with me?"). This is the same build that's been working for me all week without changes, so I'm puzzled as to why. Usually those problems are either due to a corrupted/bloated save or a goofy load order -- but SaveCleaner shows no orphaned scripts and file size is a consistent 6k, so no bloating. To make matters worse, Papyrus for some reason has stopped logging so I can't even offer a log. I'll work today on fixing the Papyrus problem, but meanwhile all I have is my load order. loadorder 051815.7z (Edit: I did all my usual fix process to no avail, so I went to the MCM cheat panel and Restarted the mod. Now I'm a free whore again, lost the money I'd earned for Gisli but at least I can move along, now, maybe finding a new owner. At least the game works again.)
