Updated version of HDT HighHeels System. SexLab High Heels has not been changed.

 

- Eliminated the need for the onUpdate() code by kicking off a refresh quest off the onPlayerLoadGame() event.

- Figured out the sequencing of onEffectStart() and onLoad() so that high heels are correctly refreshed during unload/load cycles.

- Remove HDT effect when riding horses.

Hello. I'd like to know what should I do exactly with this mod. There are two archives, and in the download page, the most recent ipdate says it doesn't change the actual hdt high heels. What should I install? The mod that replaces hdt only? The other esp using the original hdt system? Or should I install both?

oh god.... this was much needing... now i can for ONCE in my GAMING LIFE stop unequip and equip  the Heels all the time .... brilliant!

Hmmmmm, how on earth did I miss this mod? I've been trying to find a solution for HDT HH in sexlab for ages, and I've never noticed your mod before, now I just feel dumb. Gonna try this out afterwork.

 

On a seperate note does your HDT HH solve the bouncing follower problem that I've seen whilst using the old HDT HH? Even unequipping then re-equipping HH from the follower didn't sort that out, so I'm crossing my fingers here.

Hmm this isn't working for me. It is meant to disable HH when a Sexlab animation starts right? Im using the restrictive boots added by devious devices that use HDT HH. When I am in a sexlab animation that has any form of standing the boots kick in and the female is about a foot taller which makes the animations misalign.

 i didn't pay much attention for the sex scenes but i am very happy that i found this solution here for heel equipped followers

what i had to add the high heel spell to each one of them after every single cell change before. Works most of the time. Thank you

Does this maybe disable HDT when sitting on objects, or is it a planned upcoming feature?

 

Pretty sure this is already done by HDT High Heels. I added some code to make the same change when riding a horse.

is this still working for everyone? over last month or 2 as other mods have been updated mine has slowly broken . first NPC's stopped working, and now the player character often gets only half the elevation needed for shoes, I have to unequip and equip again like ye-olden days... :( I have been running script heavy sexlab mods though, more devious quests being the main script user I think. Would it be script lag thing maybe? ive tried re-install ( I use MO btw) new games, and nothing seems to get NPC working anymore :/ dunno what the hell I did lol...

Have the same problem, it seems to stopped working, also horse-riding, and i have pretty much given up on HDT high heels. :(  I avoid them if i can ....

horses work ok still for me, think im gonna have to go back to the skyui hotkey strip all and then hotkey equipment to re-dress... :( think ill have a little cry now "sniff".. back to ye olden days high heel shenanigans ..

indeed.. doing a new playthrough and this time for player at least it works perfect..just not npc anymore.. so not all doom and gloom :P:D

 

 

Edit: fixed my issue, all working fine again now for NPC and player, was script lag from to many script mods, I had to remove More nasty Critters and more devious quests, fix the shoes and also another lag issue with devious cursed loot :)

I am not sure what was causing this, but I was seeing errors looking like this:

With some of the boots from DDx.  Switching back to standard HDT high heels system got rid of the errors.

Looks like, for some reason, the HDT High Heels faction wasn't populated in the magic effect script by the editor. I loaded up the .esm in the Creation Kit and everything checks out. Weird...

 

There is a lot of messed up stuff in the way the HDT works, which I think was the reason that HydrogenSaysHDT put the 20ms timer in there originally. That is horrible for performance, so a lot of my recoding was an attempt to work around the need for this timer.

Kinda went over my head there, but like I said, I am not sure what is causing the problem.

 

This was showing up on entering the Capture Dreams shop if you know of the mod, fairly busy room with possibly multiple high heel wearing npcs also using various zaz animations.  My computer isn't the greatest, so totally possible I was overwhelming something.

Is this still being worked on? I would love to use this fix for the DDx restrictive boots in the SL animations, but am scared of replacing the original HDT HH if this would cause it to break things.

Just make a backup and test. It's not been updated in ages. If I had to guess, I'd say it might still work as the HDT Heel system hasn't been changed in a while either. But then SL has.

I'm still playing with SL 15.8 (due to other mods' incompatibilities) so...let's hope for the best! 

 

Edit: Unfortunately the mod doesn't seem to want to kick in at all. Though it doesn't appear to break anything, it doesn't remove the high heel effect during SL scenes.
