FetishSergal Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 LOL This is one battle that will never be won, by any human. The two things that will never allow it. 1. Opinions 2. Egos Neither of which mean a fucking thing. 16 pages of nonsense and to what end? still arguing. I've unintentionally misread your post. 1.Onions 2.Legos Neither of which mean a fucking thing. Sorry but I laughed. As for the video, great video, amazing woman and videogames should not cease to be what they are to please a small bitchy minority of SJWs, data corresponds to factual evidence, the point on millenials is very solid... Her serene and sober attitude is something that radfems could learn from.
redeyesandlonghair Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Oh MY GOD this topic can't be possibly derailed any further. Honestly where is the lock? We went from something positive to bashing each other head. Well I mean we could just get it back on topic and ignore all the dumb stuff that happened in the middle.

Something Blue Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 so back on topic videogame are sexist? well yes and no yes because we all know why but no because are product that are usualy sold to males so is not sexism is marketing anyway the things that hurt me is that: in my opinion machism is a bad thing the whole story about man on top simply make me feel weird (even if i am a man) but femminism is not better the femminist (the true one) dont want sexual equality but only swap positions and that i double dislike because 1 you do an immoral thing (overbear people) but you already suffer that (any you know how it feel) and you didnt learn anything my second point is that there is a lot of sexism in movies games and books and we all agree (expecialy in games) but everyone when think about sexism in media think about half naked women you never realize that there is womanly sexism too people complain about half naked women instill (and i dont want start here a topic about competence in discrimination between reality and fantasy) the idea that all women have to be half naked and ready for anithing ok and soap operas? film and books where the right way to be a man is to be the perfect boyfrend? things that claim that the only good fiance is the one that override himself to be as his "great and immortal love" want him? that is not sexism? is not a twisted view of reality that can led to simil-slavery of people? and why nobody complain about that? is not politicaly correct? and what about me? why i dont complain about that? because i belive that are only dreams the perfect boy/girlfriend dont exist you deal with what you have and if you make the perfect parthner probably some officer have to talk with you but there is nothing wrong about dreaming and if a game about naked women make me rape someone so watching friday the 13th make me kill someone yeah there are people that did it but the cause was not the games/films that people whatched that things were only the triggers so i derailed again the topic have nice day and sorry for my "inglish"
shirow Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Good man, bad man, good woman, bad woman. This is just HUMANS, good and bad. This is not about genders this is just humanity. Power is wanted by both sex. Machism and feminism. That's all. I'm out of this topic.
Xeraser Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Still love how 100% of the feminists here had to shit on me. LOL, so much butthurt.
joemonco Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 it's estimated that about a 3rd of all women are raped at some point No it's not. The Campus Sexual Assault study that everyone quotes is 1 in 5 women. However, they included unwanted kissing and drunken sex as forms of sexual assault AND didn't have enough responses for them to make such a broad assessment of rape statistics. The CDC's "facts" suffer from the same problem. The study cited by Ali used an online survey, conducted under a grant from the Justice Department, in which college women were asked about their sexual experiences, on campus and off, and the researchers—not the women themselves—decided whether they had been assaulted. The researchers employed an expansive definition of sexual assault that included "forced kissing" and even "attempted" forced kissing. The survey also asked subjects if they had sexual contact with someone when they were unable to give consent because they were drunk. A "yes" answer was automatically counted as a rape or assault. According to the authors, "an intoxicated person cannot legally consent to sexual contact." Surely, reasonable people can disagree on that: If sexual intimacy under the influence of alcohol is by definition assault, then a significant percentage of sexual intercourse throughout the world and down the ages qualifies as crime. The Justice Department stamped a disclaimer on every page of the survey report, advising that it is not a publication of the Justice Department and does not necessarily reflect its positions or policies. source
BruceWayne Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Allright, I think we are way past the point where this discussion is as pointless as all the others about feminism (on this site). One side blames the other, over-simplification and generalization, hear-say, bickering, drama and everyone is butthurt. While we certainly think that a healthy discussion could potentially benefit us all, this is not it. We've seen it time and time again, whenever this topic comes up. The conclusion is that it ends here. Thread closed.
