Cannot get Skyrim to work.

I've run TS5edit and cleaned everything BOSS told me to, I've completely removed Skyrim and all the mods and re-installed everything from scratch, but still it CTD's just after the main menu pops up. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Try L.O.O.T instead of BOSS, worked for me when I was having some wierd mod conflicts.

BOSS old and outdated. Not sure but you might be running out of memory not sure though. Memory page: 128 (min) 512 (max) 76800 (max total) Also a load order is a must have when posting a error or problem with a game as we have no clue what the heck you have installed in your game.

When you reinstall from scratch you also have to go to documents/my games/Skyrim and delete that folder. After that run the vanilla launcher once to set up a new folder at that location.

I've tried LOOT, cleaned the plugins it told me to but it didn't work. When I try to post my load order it's saying I can't post links? Also, memory should be fine I have plenty.

Copy into notepad and then copy the text into a spoiler (i.e (spoiler) (/spoiler) with square brackets instead of ( ) )

 

Crashes after the beth logo mean you have missing dependancy (had the same with a skeleton issue myself but seems i'm the only one, re-installing the skeleton i was using fixed) of a mod you are trying to use, usually tes 5 edit should point this out to you if you select all and let it read everything

You start skyrim with SKSE?

 

LOOT-TES5EDIT then clean mods?

 

Have you installed all needed patches?

 

DXenduser up to date?

 

Microsoft frame work up to date?

 

type in search %appdata% your load order list is there in Local map then skyrim map have all info you need.

 

This way we can't do much where guessing now this way won't solve your problem.

Thanks everyone for your replies, ended up completely deleting skyrim and all the mods, including the my games folder (thanks gvman for that suggestion) and it's now again working!
