Content Consumer Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 So what would be the console command to give this to a companion? I'm not sure how you'd give the ability to urinate to a companion... it's not like an item. At least, I don't think it's like an item that equips and then unequips... 'Entertaining' Lydia for information seems ideal Do you mean you want to entertain Lydia by peeing for her, or entertain others by forcing Lydia to pee? Are you sure you posted this in the right topic?
DagonKel Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I know Nothing about modding so I could be way off here but I have a suggestion. It is not the pressence of water that makes people need to pee but the sound of running water. So instead of checking for the presence of water (which seems to be hard from what I am reading) could it be possible to check if a running water sound file is playing? "I can't see it, but the sound of dripping water is making me have to go real bad!"

"I can't see it, but the sound of dripping water is making me have to go real bad!" Hmm... good idea, and true. Running and dripping water. And while I'm sure it's possible to check for a sound playing, and maybe even somehow check distance to sound generator to determine how close you are to it (wouldn't work for ambient drip noises in caves, but still)... the problem for me is there are many places where there IS no sound. As water is rushing along the banks of a stream, you'd expect to hear something, but in game there's nothing... at least, I can't hear any sounds. It's certainly possible it's just too low for me to hear it. Waterfalls yes, but streams or rivers, no. Am I just missing the sounds?
darkconsole Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 honestly, the water idea is pretty low on my list. the current version which i have not yet released has working "guards caught you peeing" detection. after i push out soulgem oven later this week i plan to revisit this to work on "follower saw you peeing" and then eventually "random person saw you peeing" though i may release with just guards to get this mod back on the recent list. been playing with it for like two months now i think the guard detection is as solid as it can get. though i did have one half way across solitude come running up to me the other day. no way he saw, but i think it had something to do with the way guard share temporary objectreferences. plus, when i release the new version of soulgem oven, this mod will be able to detect if you are pregnant, which was another one of the earlier requests. another thing which is higher up on my list than water detection, is making it so NPC's have to pee as well. though with the way packages and reference filling work for that, i may have to do something like, if your follower cant hold it anymore, they will just stop and do it, and then YOU get in [possible] trouble because of what your homie did. 1
Content Consumer Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Aww, I was hoping for bottling urine next. Shucks. plus, when i release the new version of soulgem oven, this mod will be able to detect if you are pregnant, which was another one of the earlier requests. Are you talking about a hard or soft dependency?

Content Consumer Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Because he's busy POTtering around with Soulgem Oven, and his honing his SKILLET's on that mod. Someday he'll come back to Seeing Yellow, and we will all (insert some clever pun on the word "pan" here).

Leedler1 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 You need to make a "Seeing Brown" mod. Instead of peeing and bladder, it's pretty much the same thing, but with excrement. I see too many pee and bladder mods, but I only saw a bowel and poop mod once or twice. Would it be possible to make it?
darkconsole Posted November 16, 2014 Author Posted November 16, 2014 possible yes, and there are a few that do it. i don't really want to though. at the start this whole "seeing yellow" thing started as a joke, heh.
crusher Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 fun mod, always wondered what would happen if you pissed on the yarl's throne room rugs. Piss can also alleviate severe burns; Potion: "drenched in piss" a one time buff against fire drake attack.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 fun mod, always wondered what would happen if you pissed on the yarl's throne room rugs. Piss can also alleviate severe burns; Potion: "drenched in piss" a one time buff against fire drake attack. What?.. I've never heard of using piss to sooth burns.. that's interesting.. like using a steak to sooth a jelly fish sting (I think that's right).
crusher Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Not sure which mod it was, but the death of character included full bladder release, was probably a bug. Possible options for this mod.. being knocked down, stunned, bleed-out, feared, killed could all trigger bladder purge. NPC support would also add visceral feedback.

StayFrosty Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Just a quick question if I may...Does this have male Dovah Pee animations? (standing while peeing)
Averlin Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 This is an interesting immersion mod--just downloaded the beta and I'm having fun exploring it. I have a question and a suggestion. How long do the puddle decals last? They seem to be taking an awfully long time to soak into the grass in my game; still there the next day... perhaps Whiterun uses astroturf? Are they there forever until I go far enough for them to despawn, or is there actually a time limit? Since the guards can notice and chastise me when they catch me in the act, perhaps a checkbox in the MCM to make this a petty crime. I suggest a checkbox, so those who don't like it can shut it off.
Averlin Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I also had a guard who chastised me when he saw me, then followed me all over Whiterun. I solved this by using the Irresistably Attractive - Target spell from MatchMaker on him. It then looks like he was following me because he wanted to masturbate in front of me. When he's done, he goes back about his business as though nothing happened.
Content Consumer Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 aye, IN water is easy. NEAR water, not as as. This is a stupid idea, I know... but I'm wondering just how stupid. a: Detecting water is easy, but near water is difficult. So... create many invisible, phantom items in a hexagonal pattern (or octagon leaves too many gaps) at a set distance from the player (example): 7 12 1 8 6 __ 2 / \ 5 \__/ 3 11 4 9 10 b: Detect if any of those items are currently in water c: If any of them are, you are "near water." d: Delete the items and prepare for the next check I tend to think it's certainly possible, but also certainly hard on the computer, running scripts like that and creating several phantom items (high in the sky so they don't try to generate inside cliffs or buildings or something), then giving them a havoc kick downward so they hit the ground, running the "in water" check on each item, then disabling and removing the items, and doing so fairly often (say, once every ten seconds)... it'd be more accurate than "find the nearest slaughterfish egg, cyrodiilic spadetail, salmon, etc" check, as those aren't to be found near things like small streams. More accurate, but harder on the system.
Averlin Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 If you do implement a water system, please don't forget a toggle so I can shut it off? Or a slider to adjust how much the sound bothers me? The sound of running water doesn't affect me personally, so I can't really relate. And, though it sounds like it might be funny, my character spends half the game or more in/near water, so this might quickly distract from actually playing the game without the ability to adjust sensitivity. The question I asked above about the decals solved itself after a while. I'm not finding them scattered all around Breezehome anymore. I think Skyrim just hadn't caught up to the changes in the game at the time I posted it. Either that, or Belethor keeps his servant busy with a mop. (He insulted me, so I took to going a little further away from my own house and watering his doorstep.) Also, I wanted to say that though you said you'd started this mod as a joke, compared to the others out there, I find this one to be the best of them. It's simple, it adds to the realism of my character, and it's fun by putting me in sometimes amusing or embarassing situations. So, looking forward to seeing what you do with it next.
