Let the lore bleed! How have we killed it?

I'm still waiting for someone to drop Star Trek ships / stations, EVE Online ships, or the Titanic into Skyrim.

I'd like to see a random event that drops a whale and a bowl of petunias right in front of you... :D

I cannot give you the Starship Enterise (unfortunately - that'd be amazing, and still somehow lore friendly! New and unexplored worlds and all!), but I can give you Vulcan being devoured by a black hole, travelling the wild roads of Skyrim by speeder bike, and mudcrabs of the highest echelon.

Now if you'll excuse me, I think I just found Shepard's new weapon and some sweet new rides.

Excellent! I'm using the speeder bike for sure! As for moons, I already have Cybertron and some green alien world from a Fallout mod.

RIP Lore. But I'm a huge fan of Ancient China. I can't wait till this comes out. I will be all over this.

The disappointing thing with mods like that is that they could be justified by being Akaviri. While the Tsaesci (the men of akavir) have always had a japanese with roman armor aesthetic to them, the idea that the ka'po'tun, Tang Mo, or the Kamal might have a chinese aesthetic isn't far fetched. You could even justify putting such an environment in Tamriel by saying it's a long-lost settlement built by Ada'Soom Dir-Kamal.

Anyway, devious devices (and just about every mod I have installed that lists DD as a requirement) certainly counts as lore-breaking for me.

Aethernautics. Because if you really want to fuck the lore, you do it all the way to space !

Also, high heels.

Aethernautics is lore freindly though. Space travel is well established in the elder scrolls, we have both imperials and khajit on the moons.

Airships are also lore. We need more...

What about submarines? Are submarines and underwater cities ala Bubble Atlantis lore-friendly?

..... *whispers* "Do you have submarines and underwater cities? .... *deep breaths* .... "can I have them...?"

No - I was thinking of the ones I'd seen in Oblivion, particularly the underwater cities/homes. Someone should make this so in Skyrim. I'd love an underwater house. :(

Could you find a link to an Oblivion underwater house? I'll give it a shot.

The Dreugh may have hidden settlements beneath the waves, (they are the altmer of the sea, after all) but Dreugh have no need for submarines.
