NMM will not install mods.

Start NMM   >  Click the +mod folder (The mod install button) > Select mod to install > Nothing happens



At that point it reverts back to the NMM mod screen and just does not install X whatevre mod i wanted. I have no idea why it does this; It just started happening a few days ago out of no where for absoutly no reason.

Anyone god fix's ?

Did you update your NMM to 5.0.2 version? I have that version and it works fine. Also, maybe NMM server is temporary unavailable because of maintenance reason.

 

If you didn't upgrade, you should. If you did, then uninstall NMM, and reinstall it.

Yes it is 5.0.2 , I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times with that verison date, and run in admin mode to no avail.
I download my mods to harddrive then use NMM to install so its not a packet/ connection issue.

The issue is defenitly with the program itsself, becuase it will not install mods

Any ideas ?

I just installed some mods using NMM latest version. So, it works. maybe you have some other issues? Did you try to check your system against Malware, Spyware, Adware, since it has been attacked recently.

 

Sometimes it is good to clean temporary files (both, Internet ans OS) since maybe there was some "leftovers" that are blocking proper working.

How many mods do you already have installed? If you have 255 mods installed then it will not let you install anymore mods as you have hit the mod limit.

Give the damn thing up and try using MO instead. NMM's going nutso shitto.

I advice MO.

 

NMM is only for those who realy know what they are doing, sounds strange but a new users just can't handle messed up files or problems NMM give.

 

So MO once installed and understand will not give you any problems.

 

NMM 50.2 works fine(it's not as bad as some want you believe) these days specially with LOOT but you have to know what your doing if a problem arise.

In one of mine earlier posts on some other thread, I wrote why I can't use MO. First, it is not simple for using for people like me with limited English and who is not "advanced" user since it is hard to understand what it does and how to make it work according to my needs. (I'm guess I'm not a very smart). I tried to use this mod for several times and always got stuck and even damaged my game.
