Yea, I saw it. The Nexus jumped on it quick, but the problem is when a file is under moderation, you can't tell who the uploader is because it's removed from the files list and you can't search for it, so now Han has no way of proving it was someone else who uploaded it. Obviously Han did not upload it, but try explaining all that to the Chinese! They'll be like, "WTF ME NO SPEAK ENGLISH N00b!"

 

As for hosting sites, MediaFire is by far the best. They haven't caved in to any file sharing pressures (yet) and the files I uploaded have been reliably kept on there with no issues, although people tell me occasionally files will have a brain fart and not work.

Ok now what Idiot took the new updated Dress and posted it on Nexus.

Chinese people think that was I and want my head now for sharing it on NEXUS.

 

I noticed that yesterday.

 

I originally saw the dress via either a link, or a link-to-more-links, on a Chinese site which I posted info on here the other day. Then yesterday I saw someone had uploaded it to Nexus, and I wondered.

 

I hope this wasn't my fault...

Han, you should just stick a big "DO NOT UPLOAD THIS TO NEXUS OR I WILL BUM RAEP YOU!" (or something along those lines) on mods that have not been given permission to upload on nexus.

So I never did get the console codes figured out, but thanks to neobunny, I checked the forge and found the recipes there! I appreciate all the help.

 

Only thing that was missing was the pretty matching diamond necklace from the screenshots, it didn't seem to be part of the dress. Anyone know where to find it?

I forget, if its not listed in the "misc" catagory it might be under "jewelry". The codes worked fine for me so I never actually tried forging the set.

mediafire is cooperating with the FBI and has given them permission to look through there servers, hosting anything like this on mediafire is a bad bad idea

For starters, 54MB is nothing for a file size. You should have seen the Apachii Goddess Store on Oblivion. Mind-blowingly big, by comparison to most. Also, Mediafire is fine, so long as you aren't responsible for copyright infringement. Since they have no problem with private posting of the mod for use by our group, it shouldn't be an issue.

 

The FBI crackdown isn't on all files, only ones that infringe upon Federal and International Copyright laws.

 

Provided you aren't stealing it, and permissions have been received, it should be a non-issue.

Anyway, thanks for the link! I was wondering if there was any way to upload this in the Outfit Studio, so I could fix the smal amount of clipping at the back of the armor with CBBE. I tried to just upload it, but it isn't in .nif format. Instead, its in something called .dds. Thanks!
