Good information, thanks.

I'm like you, I never use load.  I always back out of the game completely and restart instead.

Regarding my freeze problem

It only happens in that location

And it happens way before I get close enough to loot

So the only thing we have in common is that a crash occurs after the priests attack.

In my case both were successful attacks: I've had 2 crashes lately and after the first one a naked Thalmor walked by just after I heard some firewall noises, and the 2nd occasion was when my PC suddenly changed into Bimbo clothing. In both cases I never even saw the Bimbo priests.

As a totally unrelasted side note, do you have  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/186434?tab=files in your modlist? It really speeds up loading the game.

@SweetNectah; If I remember correctly you wrote earlier that spawns happen within a random 2000 radius. I just had an encounter where my PC got blasted by the priest and killed by a guard within 2 seconds. I never even saw them. Is it possible to let them spawn with a N + random 2000 or N + random 2000-N radius? Or do you already do something like that and was I just terribly unlucky?

I didn't really think when looking over the requirements until just now. Is FNIS itself really required, or does Pandora work just as well? AFAIK FNIS is effectively obsolete at this point, Pandora can do everything FNIS did but better and more performant. I guess Pandora doesn't work on LE.

I've been "Kato" ambushed many times just a few seconds after exiting Golden Hills Plantation.   And once when leaving Lakeview Manor.

Keeps you on your toes.

I'm not having crashes, it's screen freezes
I don't have that mod (yet)

i was doing the solitude madness quest with sheagorath i was still in the realm with pelegias and they spawned in there

You can disable the spawns in the MCM if you're somewhere you don't want them to happen.

You can't expect this mod to know how to handle all worldspaces.

Yeah, sorry, I have freezes as well.

And you should try that mod, it makes loading muuuuuuuch faster.

Would repurposing the hypnosis letter quests maybe make for some good outcomes? Hypnosis Mage hits you with their staff and now you're debuffed (maybe not totally useless like in the actual hypnosis letter quest) until you do X thing.

Hooray for jumpscares?

But my problem isn't so much for the scares, it's that the guards try to kill my PC and that isn't really the goal of this mod.

@SweetNectah; could you add a toggle for the guards having no weapons? If they'd fight unarmed, they could easily knock down my PC and Defeat and other mods would take over with scenarios that would be supporting the goal of this mod.
