Mean Followers is a standalone dialogue mod that gives followers sexist and degrading dialogue aimed at a female PC. 7 vanilla voice types are covered, with more on the way. Male Nord: Bandits don't just want your coin, they want a fair maid like you in chains. Male Nord: In Skyrim, the slave auctions are an ancient tradition dating back to our ancestors. Doesn't mean a girl like you wants to end up on the block. Voice types included: MaleNord MaleBrute MaleOrc MaleElfHaughty MaleYoungEager MaleEvenToned MaleEvenTonedAccented Some vanilla followers affected by this mod are Ghorbash the Iron Hand, Erandur, Stenvar, Belrand, Vorstag, and Erik the Slayer, but it will also work on custom followers if they have any of these voice types (like Tannick in the screenshots). This mod only adds dialogue, mostly idles, greetings, and goodbyes! I second the request to have MaleOrc be the next voice, but all of the voices are suitable of course. I do like how you have different lines for different voices, potentially allowing for different personalities and therefore different flavours of sexism. Like it seems that the MaleNord is more of a patronizing sexist "protector", while the MaleBrute voice is directly derogatory and uses more slurs. If you end up having distinct "themes" of sexism across the different voices it'll create a more distinct a varied sexist experience. IMO the Orc would ideally be pretty blunt and abusive, often threatening physical violence and maybe commenting on how male orcs often share lesser mates around. The MaleElfHaughty voice could focus on how the PC is insignificant, useless, meant to serve her betters, nothing without him and so on. Perhaps the MaleYoungEager focuses on the PCs body parts, how she looks, and more sexual topics Here's a bunch of lines if you're inclined to take external contributions. I already had MaleYoungEager written, and it went more yandere and less sexualized than it perhaps should have, but your thoughts are inspiring me to add some leering idles to the pool. The data entry of making the mod is definitely part of the work, but writing lines that sound real is also a big lift, and the more suggestions I get from others, the less repetitive the final product of the mod will be. All of which is just to say, I'm going to use every one of these that I can, and I hope you don't mind if some of them make their way in some form into VS. I especially like the idea for dialogue based on the player's SL stats and whether they include the follower! I'd want to extend that support to OStim, too, so the count would be framework-agnostic. 2

My long-term plan for Ulfric was to write a defeat mod for him where you can lose the civil war by losing to Ulfric and then he becomes a custom follower. I have this functionality in progress for Ancano, but it is not a trivial amount of dev work. 1

These lines are all fantastic. Many of them will be in the next version of this mod. Do you mind if the Erandur ones go over into Vanilla Sexism so that they can be heard even if Erandur is a follower? They're so specific to him as the only Dunmer priest of Mara in the game (and I don't think they're common in mods) that I don't think there's a better place to put them. By the way, you're inspiring me to add a lot more vanilla NPC-specific sexist lines to that mod.

On a separate note: How do you intend to track how long a given follower has been with you? A dummy faction rank that gets incremented daily OnLocationChange or RegisterForSingleGameUpdate? Asking so it can be accounted for in the unlikely case I manage to come up with some quotes during my playthrough. There will be two tiers of dialogue past the unconditional pool that's in the current mod. Tier 2 is jealousy and possessiveness and maybe a few backhanded compliments ("I see the way they all look at you. But you better be looking only at me.", "You'd do well to remember who owns you.", "You're lucky that look in your eyes puts me in a very forgiving mood.") Tier 3 gets more romantic, even obsessive or yandere, and there's an element of tradwife fantasy ("Must I lock you into some gilded cage?", "Maybe it's time you quit adventuring... settle down someplace nice to raise a child for me.") Using the vanilla relationship rank system is one idea, but it doesn't have a lot of nuance, and a lot of players don't use it with followers. What I have right now that's working pretty well in play-testing is keeping track of how many times the PC has had Sexlab/Ostim scenes with the follower and advancing in tiers once the number clears a (configurable) threshold. (This would not introduce an SL/Ostim dependency; it's a soft requirement.) In terms of less good ideas: tracking the amount of time a follower has been with a PC can be surprisingly awkward. Maybe counting the number of times they've said idles from this mod would be an option. If you are tracking this in your custom counter anyways maybe jumping up to the highest tier should you actually get married might be a good idea. But as you mentioned, I don't think vanilla relationship rank is suitable as you jump to 3 on follower recruitment (see below) and only reach 4 on marriage (if I remember correctly can't find a source right now). Otherwise no notes. Can you tell me which vanilla characters with MaleCondescending voice type you have as followers? It seriously helps me write dialogue if I know what tone to match!

You can set the disposition rank you want to trigger each line at. I think I can get a new version up this weekend.
