I'm having some trouble modding Fallout 4? I'm currently working on adding physics but this problem recently appeared and no matter what I do it seems to be stuck like this.

from my time messing with it, IT SEEEEEEMS like the physics are trying to work but something is causing it to contort and stretch into this mess.

You have "discrete female skeleton" but do you have a male skeleton?  

 

Not sure if that's your issue but it's a place tp start.

AWKCR causes issues in any installation, did you use the fucking manual by @Saya Scarlett ????

It is the standard by which most installs are judged.

This is the prologue, right? Physics is partially disabled in it. You should check the functionality after exiting the cryopod.

Thank you for recommending the article! turning off AWKCR and following the manually fixed the problem.

AWKCR is not as popular as it once was as some people complain it got too bloated.  If you don't need it, don't use it.  If you have a weapon or armor mod that requires it, check that weapon/armor mod page on Nexus and look at the Requirements section - someone put a lot of work into creating a page of patches that removes the AWKCR requirement from a lot of other mods.  Your desired weapon or armor may have a patch there.

 

If you're looking for something "more modern" that has some of the same functionality of AWKCR, look for ECO (Equipment Crafting Overhaul) Redux on Nexus.  Make sure you get the newer Redux version.
