Yes. I double-checked and I do have Kris Papyrus Extender.

It was East of Fort Neugrad. It led me through it's prison, past the lake and then... border.

If you still have that save, maybe check the Alchemists Shack? It's the closest location she can spawn and is pretty close to Fort Neugrad. The world border is a little wonky near the bottom of the map so its possible there's a part of the border that juts out and is in your way.

If she isn't there you can send me the results of the command 'sqv zzranchreveriequest' in the console. Then I can see if she ended up somewhere weird.

Which part of the results am I looking for? It's pretty long.

She wasn't at the Alchemist Shack, by the way.

Spoiler

Based on that she should be in the Bee and Barb, probably in the basement.

Riften is probably south enough that the world border at the bottom of the map might get a little bit in the way like the Alchemists shack.

OK. Found her.

I don't know if that's because I don't have the beta update for NG, but the guiding system seems a bit confuse at times.

So I've been fooling around with the new Leash Framework and I think I have a cool way to implement it as well as provide an option for a Simple Slavery scenario.

It started some weeks back when I discovered that spawning Dumag anywhere in the worldspace will have him immediately start running to get back to his position outside the Secluded Valley gate. Fast forward to now and I was using him to test leashing the Dragonborn to him and seeing what happens. That got me thinking about another possible method of summoning the DB by having Dumag (or perhaps another npc chosen at random) come retrieve her wherever she may be in Skyrim and lead her back to the ranch in full tact and leashed to said npc. The excuse could be the stone wasn't working or this was another of Renna's ideas to tease and toy with her Dovah or something along those lines. Then I started thinking this could be a neat "lore friendly" way to retrieve her from Simple Slavery.

Initially, my idea was for an alternate start to the mod but as I was typing it out, it started to get too involved and I figured it's best saved for later. So now I'm thinking this would be after the Dragonborn has already gone through the intro quests and been released from the first enslavement.

After being put up for auction, the DB would be bought by an npc claiming to have notified Renna of the DB's predicament and been subsequently enlisted by her to act as her proxy to buy the DB before someone less reputable acquired her. Their backstory could be that they disguise themselves as a slaver when in reality they not only free the slaves they buy, but offer them employment under better circumstances if they so desire. Otherwise I don't imagine Renna would be acquainted with them or at least that's my belief. I suppose they could also be doing this as a favor for Renna even though they don't attend such unsavory events. To keep up appearances, however, the DB would need to don her tact and become Dovah at least temporarily so that the people behind the auction wouldn't become suspicious of the proxy's intentions. Equipped with a leash and accompanied by the proxy and perhaps other slaves they purchased, Dovah would begin the long trek from Riften to the Secluded Valley. You could maybe include in the mcm the option of letting the whole journey play out or have Dovah teleported to the destination after a certain amount of time has passed. I know of a mod with a feature like that called Chainbeasts of Skyrim. Once at the ranch, Renna would then give the DB the option of being released or staying as Dovah since she's already in the gear, thus keeping the consensual nature of the mod intact!

I think some of the confusion is that the guiding system can sometimes try to lead you into a world border or some weird dungeon since it points you strait towards the objective instead of using roads and paths. Maybe I will tweak the explanation of the task to give some more information on how it works to help with the confusion.

Map marker is possible. Way more people are having trouble with it than I thought. Not enough people have experienced Morrowind I guess.

I had similar thoughts about using a proxy for Renna at SS auctions like you suggested, I was thinking it would be one of the orcs from the stronghold.

I like your idea for having to wear the tack and whatnot on the way back to avoid suspicions from the slavers. Could do a lot of things with that scenario. Could have the proxy make a pit stop along the way at a town or city, stop at a store, and load the player up with their purchases. Or maybe they stop at an inn for rest and leave you hitched outside or at the local stable.

For a little progress update, I fixed most of the issues people posted so far and worked a bit on the system to give the other valley npcs some more flavour and the other ponies a proper schedule so they aren't sitting in their stalls all the time. I also replaced most of my leash system with the new Leash Framework mod and started modelling a nicer leash to go with the collar the mod uses.

I decided to pause all of that though and work on finishing the in-progress portions of the valley since I want to do stuff that requires the terrain and npcs over there to be implemented, finished, and navmeshed (like the SS scenario above, for example).

I think it's mostly the fact that the cave entrance really blends in more then anything else. Unless you're looking at it dead on it can appear to just be a section of normal mountain rock that sticks out a bit, just like the thousands of others in Skyrim. Honestly something simple like a volume box with the wind howling sound effect if you go near it might help. I know I was hugging that cliff face and passed by it twice.

May your triangles be level with the ground, and not drive you to insanity when you pan the camera to look and see how much you still have left to do.

One idea that comes to mind would be Demitrius listing off a few places that Ka'suna likes to hang out in, or where she was supposed to go. That would help narrow down the places to look (like trying to look in a dungeon for the tiniest chance she might be there... or because that's in the way that the guiding system is pointing at).

I always CTD in the Kasuna quest when leaving the Secluded Valley (crashlog attached). Until this part of the quest everything worked fine. I have no idea how to fix it. Any help is appreciated.

At a glance it kind of looks like Kasuna doesn't exist anywhere and so the SPE function that is supposed to lead you to her is freaking out. Can you do what I asked someone else to do a couple posts above and sent me a screenshot of the aliases from that quest? I'm wondering where she is supposed to be.

Also did you use any of the skips at all? Or did you play through everything normally?

Thanks for your quick answer. I have attached the respective screenshot which was taken after I left the secluded valley just moments before the CTD happens.

I started the mod without skipping anything and the first day went well. I did not start a new game though, i.e. I installed the mod midgame. Might be that this is an issue.

Goes without saying to make sure you have the latest versions and requirements for everything installed.

She should be near Frostflow Lighthouse near Dawnstar according to that. I just tried forcing her there and running the SPE function and it seems to work fine for me.

Do you have anything that edits the area in or around there? I see Captured By Thalmor referenced in there. Could be some sort of conflict. Maybe try disabling that and seeing if it helps. I don't see anything else that stands out in the crash logs but I am also not an expert in reading those.

You could also try moving her to yourself typing "prid 564134d2" and then "moveto player" and see if walking out of the valley still crashes. This won't fix your problem but could help figure out what is going on, as if it still crashes then it means the location she is in has nothing to do with it.

So far I haven't run into anymore major issues that were repeatable after a few more sessions on the ranch.
I did notice for Adriene's mail quest that if the PC got into inspection mode to quickly (by speeding through the text) that she rarely wouldn't notice that the PC was in inspection mode and they would fail the task.

I just had a silly idea that I wanted to share before I forgot. What if during the races or training the PC was given a "Dwemer Jockey" basically a spider dwemer backpack that would shock (give a stamina potion) to the pony doing the sprinting? A dwemer backpack would be easier to model convincingly than say a riekling jockey or another creature since backpacks don't need to move, and there are plenty of dwemer assets. Quests upgrading the effectiveness of your jockey (the size of the stamina potions they give you) would be a good repeatable questline and something that can be done when not being a pony (radiant dungeon quests) or when being a pony (a daily task). It would also be different than just another plug.

Also thought I'd throw in some NPC Chatter. As usual feel free to use anything you like or toss it into a bin.

These chat ideas is the thing that makes me come to this page again and again. It`s really exiting~ to read. But i wonder - what is Stalllion plug? And secondly - has mod author added at least few of your qoutes to the mod?

I have no idea what a stallion plug is, i just made it up because I was bored and watching youtube on my other screen. I don't know if the author added any of my quotes, but I've always said that they are free to use or ignore anything I type because its their mod. While its fun to suggest ideas for a mod you like, you also have to accept that sometimes the answer might be no.

There's a Stalllion plug in Stable of Cyn, a game HereBeTentacles said got him into making this mod.

In that game you pick one of 3 stallions and get plugged and belted while doing pony things, one give orgasms, one teases and denies and for the last one I don't remember how it works. I liked the teasing and denial one and I hope something like the stallion plugs become a thing for the ranch.

That's a nice looking leash! The texture kind of works with the aliasing as well, makes it look almost fancy.~

"Come here Dovah~ You know you're only allowed to go for plugged walks while wearing your leash. You wouldn't want to be a bad pony now would you?~"
