Oops19 is a big fan of ColonolNutty. Any file by anyone even remotely associated with him is blacklisted on that Discord. This is why I don't use Discord for anything Sims related anymore, everybody has their own pet peeve mods and their gatekeeper bot will autoban you for something as stupid as a clothing file... or a shower, apparently. 1

As the above said, seriously, don't use Discord for mod support. The Sims community has a bad habit of being far too sensitive about mods and will ban you for using mods they deem inappropriate. This is the only gaming community I've ever seen behave like this. Besides, it's not difficult to learn how to maintain your own game. In my experience modding both Skyrim and Fallout, The Sims 4 is far easier to mod, even without the modding tools that the other games have. For example, for Skyrim and Fallout, you had to worry about the order in which your mods were loaded. The Sims 4 doesn't have that. Those Discords are mostly for people who just don't want to learn how to fix their games/practice good modding habits. Edited November 9, 2025 by SilentAegis 2
Oops19 Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 The showers are just CC objects — I genuinely don’t understand why someone would get a warning for using them. I used WW and NWP a long time ago. But with trackers and when WW intentionally broke compatibility with my S4CL-based mods — even including a malware loader — I switched to DD. Since then, I’ve been able to update my game with each EA patch without worrying about broken mods. I also removed a few override mods to keep things clean. The DD Discord run by Nutty is at least a place where you can ask questions without being kicked. Sure, some topics are off-limits, but it’s a space where support is possible. I can even reach out for help while coding, which makes a huge difference. Most of my mods are “write once” — I "never ever" need to fix them. I recently updated Copy Outfits to support the Small Business outfits. That kind of stability is why I stick with S4CL. Getting blocked or blacklisted just for using one of my mods which use S4CL feels strange. I don’t know if it’s really about the library or if some folks are just frustrated that their own mods break while mine quietly keep working.

Oops19 Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 At least you can locally rename the files to tick.package and tuck.package or merge them with S4S into o19-university-showers.package. or a similar name.
Oops19 Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 I wonder how perverted people are to create mods to log as many private data as possible of a player and either upload it or request the player to upload it to a server.
