Advanced Animation Framework setup for game version 1.10.163

 I would like to make a step by step guide for working Advanced Animation Framework (AAF) setup for game version 1.10.163, as lot of people struggling with Fucking manual. Manual is for NG game, that means your game version must be 1.10.984.  My simply step by step guide is for downgraded game or game, which wasn't updated. If something went wrong with your game and you Verified files trough Steam, then game version will change to next-gen. That means you should downgrade it again. This guide is for people, who already have installed Mod Organizer 2 and everything is set up for modding. I'm not using Vortex, so this is MO2 and Steam guide.

At first, check your game version: Navigate to Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4. Right click on Fallout4.exe -> Properties.

With yellow is your game version. If it's 1.10.984, you must downgrade it with Fallout downgrader, if you want. If not, you can stick to Fucking manual which is for NG game.

  • for 1.10.163 you will need F4SE - Fallout 4 runtime 1.10.163 - build: 0.6.23. Download .zip file, extract it on the desktop. Inside archive you will find folder with files. Extract or manually copy all these files to your game folder - Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4. Or see photo:

  • Mod Organizer 2 will find and register F4SE automatically after installation. Simply restart MO2 if it's running. If you haven't  enabled modding, then you must do it. At first you need to launch game like you normally do it, form desktop shortcut/Steam shortcut. Game will generate .ini files in Documents\My Games\Fallout4. Find Fallout4custom. ini. Open it with notepad and add following lines .

             [Archive]
             bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
             sResourceDataDirsFinal=

           Save .ini file and close it. Congrats, you enabled modding in your game!

  • create separator called F4SE plugins in Mod organizer 2.

3.png.32a6bb41b32231fe6705b622041c0f6f.png

  • install Address Library for F4SE Plugins. You need All In One version
  • install xSE PluginPreloader F4 0.3 version manually. Download archive, extract it on the desktop. There will be two files - xSE PluginPreloader.xml and WinHTTP.dll. Copy/place them manually in your  Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4 folder.  Change its loading mechanic by editing xSE PluginPreloader.xml with Notepad++ and then changing

    this:
    <LoadMethod Name="ImportAddressHook">

    to this:
    <LoadMethod Name="OnThreadAttach">

    Or this if previous doesn't work

    <LoadMethod Name="OnProcessAttach">

  • install Buffout 4 with Mod Manager, not manually!

  • install Bodyslide and Outfit studio with Mod Manager. You need to add Bodyslide as executable in your MO2 (as shown in first photo). Open executable panel -> Edit. Press + -> Add from file. You will need to navigate to your Mod Organizer instance and find path .....\mods\BodySlide and Outfit Studio\Tools\BodySlide. Add Bodyslide.exe as executable. Now you need to point Bodyslide to your game. Run Bodyslide.exe trough mod manager and point to your game path. I don't remember how it works when you first time installing Bodyslide. Might be that in the first Bodyslide screen you need to navigate to game Data folder. If not, then open Settings and point it like in second photo.

  • install Looksmenu. You need version 1.6.18 - look very bottom between Old files.
  • install Zaz skeleton. And later you need to check if this skeleton is not overwritten by any other mod. It must stays as it is!
  • for female body install Fusion girl or CBBE. I'm preferring Fusion girl. Don't install optional files while you don't have working AAF setup! After installing Fusion girl, you need to build body. Open Bodyslide. You will see window with sliders. You need to locate Fusion girl - nude and for preset we can take Fusion - Curvy (that's for now). Press Build and make sure you have checked meshes and buildmorphs box (like in photo) With the CBBE is the same sh*t, only thing that you need to look for CBBE nude and CBBE Curvy

6.png.7af4858ac9411f2c638bbe64f600491e.png

           Next step is Batch Building vanilla outfits in Bodyslide. With the same preset open Filter groups and check FG outfit boxes. Click OK. Make sure meshes and morphs box is checked, press Batch Build. New window will pop-op, press ok and wait. Close the window when Batch building is finished. Congrats, you created your body and built outfits as well!

7.png.6b29b747396664f0dd05bf8934fccb3c.png

  • install Bodytalk. You must repeat steps as you did for Fusion girl/CBBE in Bodyslide with body building and batch building outfits. Locate Bodytalk, choose preset blah blah blah...Only one important thing - Bodytalk penis erection slider must be zeroed!!!, or nothing will work in game.

Now you can run your game through Mod Manager F4SE and check if bodies are working. In the next steps we will add AAF setup with at least one animation pack. Create separator AAF MAIN

  • install AAF. Here is a two options - you can download version from Nexus or newest version from Dagoba discord. Version in Nexus is for game 1.10.163, Dagoba discord version fits for both game versions. It's up to you which version you will install.
  • install AAF theme - V210819.0
  • install one animation pack, for example, BP70 animation pack

Now it's  time to test animation pack in game. AAF menu by default is opening with HOME  key. If AAF menu is not popping up, then another mod uses the same key, if you have more mods installed. You can change default key to another in AAF_settings.ini file. All you have to do is find/spawn friendly male/female settler and you can launch animation check manually. Open up AAF menu, choose actors, choose location, and play animation. Everything must work!

Don't look at my modlist, at first you need to check if everything is working! For that you need only yellow content from photo. If your setup with one animation pack working fine, then you can add more. But I highly recommend to check one by one in game. At the very very end you need to install Ultimate AAF patch - It contains all creature assets and gender combinations. Also requires Buffout 4. All animation packs and other stuff/mods are listed in manual. And I highly suggest to read carefully! Read carefully mod descriptions and requirements!

After testing in game, if everything is working, you can install Vioxsis' Strap-On's of Fallout 4 5.0.0 for lesbian animations. Same thing is with Torture devices. And make sure, that Ultimate AAF patch is overwriting everything. That means it must be as a last one in your mod order list in the left pane.

All AAF stuff/setup must go at the very very end in your left pane of Mod Organizer 2.  If basic setup with requirements and main stuff is set up correctly, then you can start to add AAF mods, which triggers animations. For sex with friendly NPC - Sex'em up. For rape sex after unsuccessful combat - Violate. But lot of AAF mods depends from another mods, so, as I said, read carefully mod descriptions and requirements!  It's very easy to fck up everything.

Make separators for each mod section: AAF Requirements  - Vioxis strap ons, Torture devices;  AAF MAIN - AAF, Kinky Theme; AAF ANIMATIONS - all animation packs. AAF PATCH - Ultimate AAF Patch

bv.png.e61a46d913748af209444fd1e9f39f4b.png

Under separator AAF MODS goes all mods, like Violate, Sex'em up, Comonwealth Captives, Sex atributes, Sex harrasment etc. I created several separators in that section, because, for example, for Family Planning there are 5 addons for that mod, that's why I have separator AAF FPE. For Harrasment and Atributes the same, because I'll add voice files (that means + 2 addons for these mods). Separators will make your life easier! And don't install ton with mods at once. Install one - test it. Install second - TEST!

In Mod Organizer 2 (see picture below) open executables panel and press edit. In Modify executables window press + and Add from file. New window will pop-up - find f4se_loader.exe and add it. Press ok. Now you have added Fallout 4 script extender to your Mod Manager 2 and we can proceed

MO2 finds and registers F4SE automatically after installation. Simply restart MO2 if it's running.

AAF menu by default is opening with END key.

The default button is HOME, not END.

Extract or manually copy all these files to your game folder

To avoid searching for the folder to which you need to copy F4SE, simply open it through MO2:image.png.173f79a0855c827579207ffbe2a2c500.png

How do you even access the NAF menu for AAF?

these both are not working together. You must choose - AAF or NAF. And I don't understand your question
