Unfortunately, I am unable to investigate this type of issue because I don't have access to a Linux machine.

 

I am sorry that you can't use my mod on Linux.
Perhaps in the future — if users support me — I’ll have the time (after laying the groundwork for the main mods) to try and find a solution for Linux-specific cases.

The B42.20 Stable build seems to have implemented a sort of "video" to replace the static background.
My static background is still visible on older PCs that lack the processing power to display TIS's new default background.
 

I'll need to convert my background to the new format, but that isn't a priority right now.

There are no icons in the menu.
I assume you're referring to the game title?
The ZomboLust title remains visible regardless of your PC's performance.

If you download the new version in Auto-install, you need to unzip the ZIP file and double-click the EXE of the auto-installer.

For now, it is purely cosmetic.
All the code still needs to be added in future versions of the mod.

The system I am planning aims to be more complex and comprehensive than what was created — or what currently exists — in other mods.

💥 I’ve just uploaded the latest versions of the ZomboDesire / ZomboLust and ZomboLust Lewd Models mods ❗

 

The main post now includes a section that acts as a central hub to easily find all download links and descriptions for each mod.
Each mod has its own dedicated download page to simplify searching and updating for users.

 

I’ll be updating the descriptions for each mod over the next few days (there are very many changes, as you can see in each mod’s ChangeLog).

 

The mods are now integrated into an auto-installer to make installation easier for everyone.
For Linux users (and those who prefer to install mods manually), a manual installation version is available in the “Installation Instructions” section.

 

In short: by default, once your character is naked (this can be changed via traits), DO NOT TOUCH YOUR KEYBOARD and you will automatically lose.
By default, zombies have a 35% chance not to turn pink and instead try to bite you: adjust the option if you prefer them to always be surrounded by pink.

 

 

Have fun, and don't hesitate to report any issues or bugs 🫡

Yes, you can download each of the mods (including the videos) in the “Installation Instructions” section of each mod.

However, depending on your Linux distro, you might experience video playback issues.
It’s also possible that the videos won’t start if your PC is too old or has very low specs: this is a problem with the game Project Zomboid itself, not with the videos or my mod.

Yes, if you adjust the bar in the options—the one that controls the chance for Zomboids to bite and not be outlined in pink.

Read the instructions by hovering your mouse over the bar, and you’ll understand how to make your character nearly immortal against Zomboids of the opposite sex to your character.

Videos only appear when your character is in an animation scene.

 

Some scenes, such as Shy scenes, do not include videos (for example, if you chose a mode other than Casual and your character didn’t survive long enough).

 

Another possibility: you didn’t install the files in the correct folder (if you’re on Windows, try the auto-installer), or your PC isn’t recent enough to display the videos.

 

In short, there isn’t just one possible explanation, and this doesn’t always mean it’s a bug.
I need more details from you to give a precise answer.
