Also some progress news. Idle to run is finished, Run is half finished and I tried making a fun (a bit cringe) attack but I failed cause of the hitbox sizes.

I'm working on something similar as we speak, but I've only just gotten started, and my style and preference for anatomy is quite different too. I've not seen anybody else trying to make a "vanilla" esque nude mod. But if you explore around, you may find some things. The nexus for instance has three that I know of that edit specifically the way Hornet looks during a specific portion of the game where her cloak is removed.

But I am making something a bit more on theme for the beast crest since it's my personal favorite. Once I have a nude base done, I'll go back in and add a raggedy fur cloak with an open front to all the frames. So it may still not wind up being quite what you're looking for. Sorry. IF (and only if) I'm not burnt out after all that, I am considering adding other cloaks and removing her claws from my base body for an even more vanilla look, so maybe I will eventually make something more similar if I redraw her OG cloak.

I'm approaching the end of the text mod... just one last giant hurdle to get over.

I thought I would hit this point a week ago, but then a bunch of crazy stuff happened at work and my sleep schedule got all messed up, so now I'm behind my (self-imposed) schedule. Oh well.

I'll be starting on Wanderers tonight, and I have no idea how long it will take me to get through it. Optimistically a week, pessimistically a month, but once it's done the mod will be complete, barring testing and typo fixes. Honestly I'm very excited to get to play Silksong with my own mod to test it out, but it just doesn't make a lot of sense to do that until Wanderers is done, so just a little bit more to go!

Updated files are below. I've made a few tweaks here and there across some of the existing content, so if you already installed one of the older versions of the mod, I'd just replace the files entirely. You should be able to just drag the whole folder over and have Windows replace files with conflicting names.

What if there was a mod to make Hornet spawn a cogfly (Baby) every time she binds, or maybe gets hit by an attack that stuns her? (Like falling into pits of those bitey worms maybe? I don't really think any enemy has a "grapple" attack though. Spawning with a few babies after getting snagged and stripped might make sense though (Vague for spoilers?)

How hard would it be to code something like that? I have very VERY limited knowledge with c# scripting in visual studio myself. I fumbled my way through a course in college to make a unity demo, but I retained like nothing. That being said, the tutorials I found make it seem simple enough, in fact, I already have the game's reference files in and a vague idea of what I need to do. But I have no idea which parameters actually need to be called, or what to write to call them at the appropriate times. 

Anybody have any interest in helping me getting this to work?

so one way to implement sex mechanics might be to edit enemies to include the code for the grapple state that vore guy and the others use, and then create appropriate art to match

Art I can certainly do. But it's the coding that's the hard part. Editing art is just time consuming. Alas, the mod for spawning cogflies upon binding is good enough for me for now. I think the list of enemies that can grapple and have interactive animations involving Hornet are too small to bother trying to figure out ways to make babies spawn as a result of grappling with them, no matter how much sense it'd make.

But as I work on this skin mod, I will eventually have to redraw the animations of Hornet grappling these enemies, so I can try and make them a bit kinkier~!

I'm currently experimenting with it, but given how easy it seems to be; Might I be so bold as to suggest having this mod replace a language? Combined with this mod, it would allow for easily swapping between Pharwomb and Vanilla. I had it replace Spanish by just changing the "EN" to "ES" in the text files.

I had thought about the whole "change the prefix to change the language" thing while thinking about how inevitably someone will ask for the mod to be translated into another language.

 

I think that for the main release, it will use the English file, because it is truly impossible underestimate the intelligence of the average person trying to install a horny mod and so simplicity is king.

 

But given the ease of changing the language, I'll probably release a "stealth mode" version where the mod is tied to a different language, Spanish or German or French or something, so you can easily toggle between them without having to uninstall the mod. Could be very useful for people who occasionally stream or play in front of friends, and the extra workload is about 30 seconds of find/replace in MSWord.

Just a small update as I have finished 8 animations (All of her basic grounded animations like: Idle, Walking, Idle to walk, Walk to idle, Head turn idle, Look up, Look down, and Turning around).

Going to do the bench sitting animations next, then move onto jumping and attacking. That should cover the core movement. After that it's onto specialized stuff like sprinting, tools, etc. There's still a LONG way to go, but I feel good about the progress so far.

Yeah i'm still working on it, i've done more progress, but work and time hasn't bode well for me. I should at least make an update of the progress starting tomorrow.

So far what I have worked on were pavo(incredibly simple as using fill tool), phantom, and shakra if I were to exclude hornet. As for progress I just cant stick to one project, as I keep jumping from one spritesheet to another and not concentrate one just one.

It's going to be for her default, cloaked look, yes. I want to make a nude base mod that can be enjoyed throughout the whole game. Then I'll later add cloaks on top of it.

(Naturally, I will need to adjust her nude look as well, so this'll cover cloakless hornet too eventually.)

Here's the zip folder containing the still WIP sprites for hornet and shakra. Shakra is a little pain especially with the blurred action attacks but at most she will be mostly naked in her mapper cln, but fully naked in her rest cln. The only thing is that so people wont get bothered by the constant flashing of black and grey I decided to put her body in the all black look (example below), excluding hornet because I forgot.

I know this is a W.I.P, but some small critiques. The only animations at the moment that are "Solid"(Not flickering between base as the modded skin(s)) from this mod are Hornet's Looking Down animation, her floating animation, and Shakra's Standing Idle animations(Which it looked like was flickering between multiple stuff)
