I am a friend of the mod's creator. His mod has been reported and taken down, but he stated that you can freely upload his mod for others to play.

...Are - are they really suggesting "all" adult mods would be removed because the MC is """underaged""" (edit : I know the ending lol - not underaged)? The content as called out earlier was from an adult game after-all, and thus "of legal depiction" to use equally ambiguous speech.

It baffles me when you think about this - just the thought of the MC as a legal aged woman who has some exposed bits isn't allowed LOL; wonder if those clowns went through every mod hosted just to 100% follow their own rules (yes - including any shadbase ones for Bethesda titles)

Who in their right mind would think that Hinako is 15? If my 15-years old has Hinako's face, I would have her checked for progeria already. The same goes for Lili from Tekken and Amicia from A Plague Tale, and so on. I hate when the developers do this. Please don't force the characters into an outfit that don't even fit their age, that gives a "barely legal" persona? I'm starting to think that the devs purposefully do this to deter nude mods of their main characters. Besides, I don't really like to play as, or to be a... school student (I've had a fair share of it a long time ago--not really fond of it).

Man, all this pearl-clutching over a fictional character being seemingly teenaged despite having the likeness of a 26-year-old woman is tiring.

I really don't like to say that age is just a number, I know that's a stupid argument but in the context of modding a video game, it really does feel like an arbitrary factor to whether it's OK for the character to be nude or even replaced with another obviously adult character when you consider that the original character is literally based on an actual adult and she's officially confirmed to be in her 20's within the game anyway.

 

But whatever, the moderation at Nexus is kind of a joke anyway and we shouldn't care what they think when we have this forum to share our mods on.

This is actually a good idea. If you don't want a certain character to appear in adult mods, you just need to define her as being in her teens. However, a new problem arises: in adult games, characters are often declared to be adults but still have a doll-like face. In such cases, would it still be allowed to create mods?

Quite frankly - I would say it's people who are being willingly face-blind in this case (with ending evidence present).

 

While Hinako does have a youthful appearance without make-up (seems that way to me anyway); people seem to equate her slim frame + school uniforms as being underaged is my guess, when - quite frankly, breasts/buttocks are not going to come from nowhere. In the 1960s in some "backwater" town, I doubt they had the food to substantiate many "stacked" individuals as one might see in your traditional mods, meaning people are quick to assume "UnDeR-aGeD".

So, are you saying that anyone with a youthful appearance – even in their late twenties – automatically makes their partner suspicious in your eyes?

 

As for the context of “teens” and “barely legal” being popular categories in the adult industry: these are legal categories, just like the subject of this thread.

Youthful, yes, but underage? Absolutely not. If it's visually unmistakable such as SB from RE2, NK from RER2, or the children in Skyrim, maybe we're not having this conversation right now. But Hinako? Damn she looks 100% grown up woman to me. (Although in the case of SB, NK, and others, we can always argue that they're just pixels and not real, and the laws in Japan do not prohibit them)

We're not in Japan right now, so their laws are not applicable here. Hinako is modeled after a woman in her 20s, and she looks the part, but people are still going to take the safe route when dealing with this.

I agree. These kinds of discussions bring attention to an otherwise harmless modding experience. People here should just do their modding and ignore outside noise, unless LoversLab itself has an issue with what is being made.

Yes. But Konami is a Japanese zaibatsu, which, operates and doing business under Japanese law, as in their EULA. But I agree with you, corpos tend to take the safer route.

You know what would really be great. If a moderator deleted every single post in this thread other than the one that shows proof from the game that the character is over 18 and the posts that have actual mods posted in them. Everything else is pure garbage. All eleven pages of it.

And i honestly wonder if nexus knows that hinako is not a minor, have none of the moderators played the game at all? are they all of the sudden just against adult content? there are nude mods out there and if you know how to look you can easily find it. This was honestly such a pointless debate when the games own ending literally says shes in her 20s.
