Way too much latex everywhere.

Yeah, this mod making the latex stuffable definitely has some unintended side effects.  Does make one wonder if the game includes some material XML definition limiters like how clothing has:

<commonality>0</commonality>

Setting the commonality limitation to 0 prevents hostile pawns from spawning while wearing that stuff.  But considering how the game implements stuffability, prolly not...

It does. The "stuffProps" tag has the "commonality" tag so you can control how frequently each one shows up. Using leathers as a reference, plainleather has a commonality of 0.2 while human leather has 0.0025.

The mod could use some tweaks in this regard too, since by latex hats I ment gimp hoods of all three kinds. Those are way too common.

Another strange thing is how the game seems to default to latex instead of wood for buildable stuffable workshops for some reason.

Finally bothered to check it myself, yeah, you are correct.  The commonality tag for the Items_Resources_Latex.xml file is set hilariously high, at 2.00... yes, it has 2 zeros, reduction is for losers!  Unclear if this is directly affecting how mapgen works for latex as a building material vs latex generated from harvesting rubber trees, but seems as good a place to start as any.  I'll just start testing using the plainleather value and go from there...

Edit:  Well, the 0.2 value definitely reduced the amount of arbitrary stuffable latex generation (walls, doors, caskets, etc.), but anything below 0.1 led to weird screen effects and anomalies.  Dunno why, I guess the game was trying to divide by zero somewhere...

I also ran into the issue "Could not resolve cross-reference: No RimWorld.StatDef named wearPerDay found to give to RimWorld.StatModifier (null stat)". After asking about it on the RJW discord, the user Ryufais managed to come up with a fix, the error no longer appears for me. The file to be replaced is located in Latex\1.6\Defs\ThingDefs_Misc.

just a heads up big and small just updated and is causing this error to pop up

Single tear, hope someone troubleshoots that soon...  I guess it's a good thing I'm between colonies right now, might have to put that Friends meme run on the back burner for a lil while now!

how so?
not sure what you mean.
I mean Latex mod that's made the be more Age-not okay.
and a framework mod...how can they overlap
now Compatibility for say if they are both in the mod-pack at the same time, that's fine.....keep them compatible.
or at least helps the big mech show a female in a catsuit....vis say a pink/black box.
sorry Mobile Applications is a hobby as well as computers itself, so it's hard to turn of the programming brain sometimes.
still my question stands.
