Nonsequitur Posted August 5, 2025 Posted August 5, 2025 View File Zen La The Outer Bank Is a medium sized island nation that will require a new game setup. Just mark your old Sims3 Folder as something else and restart your game… The Game will set up a new folder. All you need do is copy the MODs Foundation to the new folder. Just make sure that Anything other than your Sex-mod is removed or you may have some unexpected problems. Download the Zen La World Sims3Pack, and 3- ZIP files Create a folder on your desktop and name it “Zen La Package”. Mover all 3 of the Zen La Package (ZIP) folders into you’re newly created folder and unpack all of them there. Move that entire folder into the Empty Packages Folder of the New Mods Folder, in your new Sims 3 Game folder. Move the Zen La Sims3Pack into your Games “Downloads” folder. Start your game and install the World. Enjoy! There are a lot of little Gens and treasures. Lots of Secret meeting spots, and room for growth. Not everything has been rebuilt so…. Watch out. Something’s are working and something’s will fry you. It is a Future Utopian that hasn't got all the bugs worked out yet. Lots of Geyser Springs. Be mindful of the green radioactive geysers and pools. Lots of camping areas. Lots of things to find. Areas to develop lots of your own. Even trails to walk to hidden collection sites. Goes for your Bots’ too! Seen some of what was going on the board and had to offer something after 2 years… not saying much other than I spent the last 6 months playing with is and think I got it… Let me know so I can Fix it. Would also appreciate some Feedback of the overall impression for a world build for an archaic obsolete game... lol Most all objects were fabricated by me - there are a lot of them. That's what makes a World interesting. Most everything I created is for Base Game, EP's 10 & 11. To be sure - Best to have everything except Katty Parry's... if not No Worries. You'll get a warning that some things could not be placed and were substituted... so, might see some weird lamp on a roof... Nonsequitur Posted August 7, 2025 Author Posted August 7, 2025 Well, things go through Cycles. No negative comments at all so far - so that's good after a week. If you find it a fun, whimsical world... Spread the word.... and comment. Been Tweaking this world for over 18 months so is was good where I left it...

Nice to seeing you back and still active creating worlds and stuff. Downloaded your files and will do a new setup for it and test your world. But need some time to populate and play with it. Thanks for all your nice work ! 1

It looks overall amazing, runs good after a while of playing. Had no crashes so far. There are many, many things to explore and each building looks like complete equipped. You must have spend tremendous many hours with much knowledge to bring this world in that stage you provided. Thank you so much for sharing your work. Info about my installation : Checked my mod folder with MTS_Delphy_Dasboard to avoid collisions and doubling with my basic packages and there it showed some issues, which I eliminated by deleting those few packages from your files. The world file I extracted with S3OC renamed it and copy it to the base game world folder. Since long I do not use *.Sims3Pack files anymore ! Edited August 11, 2025 by Clydie 3

With so many objects and other types of content - scripts even - I never trusted the game to put everything in it's proper place when creating a foundation for game play outside this installation type. Everything else - Huge house downloads with LOT'S of CC seem to work fine as self contained folders within the mod section while worlds have caused issues for me - I still remember Pravven having lava instead of water because of a Middle Earth World I just 'dropped' into the mod folder. I see you had to do some similar engineering to accomplish this yourself. Good job! 3

For me it works great. The only thing I found a little incommoding is the fog, what hinder the sight to the city in the city few. Is there a way to remove the fog at all ? I did not found anything and disabling the "Buckley fog emitter" package show no effect. Thanks again for your good work and providing it to us !
Nonsequitur Posted August 20, 2025 Author Posted August 20, 2025 The fog and Low clouds are built in at the World Level. That particular Fog Emitter can have its Height adjusted... but, it has nothing to do with anything outside the in-game LOT level stuff. So, you deal with a lot of low-lying ground fog and the only other view blocking at "city View" is the low clouds over the Bridge. Just rotate to the back shoreline... The old problem, Aesthetics verses convenience. I will take a look at it in "City View" and see if moving the Cloud will help without changing the aesthetics. I'll also look at the quantity of Ground Fog I have and look at visibility issues at game level. It never bothered me when Navigating in City View... thanks for the perspective. I did recently find a problem with the build at the Night Club on the Peir... "Dance for Me" I'll need to clean that up and take a look at the Routing around it. Everyone shows but the building doesn't populate. There is also a possibility of stuck Sims on the lot boundaries. Most likely offer a replacement Lot. 1
Nonsequitur Posted August 23, 2025 Author Posted August 23, 2025 FYI: that Buckley fog emitter must remain active. if not, there will not be any Smoke from all the Chimney's and burn piles. 1
