I see subtitles of other people's lines. Yes, I wrote about possible solutions here myself. But I installed the latest version of the mod and encountered the same problem. I can't seem to solve it. I do not force subtitles for those lines. Maybe later this could be an optional add-on, but for now she will just talk without subtitles. However, I don't know how this would behave if you force subtitles globally, I didn't try this. Do you have a mod that changes the voicetype of the player? Everything is as it should be. Of course, phrases are repeated very often, sometimes they can say the same thing several times in a row, but that's because there are too few of them. That's really interesting, as it never worked during my tests ^^ Sadly, the uploaded file got deleted, so I can't confirm if it's really this mod or something else. Well, what they say is definitely from your mod. I translated these lines in your mod and I'm sure of it. However, I can't get consistent comments during sex. For example, the scene from the video is an event in the BaboDialogue mod. When I run scenes in other ways, I haven't gotten any comments from either side yet, and I don't know in which scenario to expect them. To be honest, I haven't played that much yet.
bathoz Posted August 30, 2025 Posted August 30, 2025 Priyanka is the most interesting by far, but it is an odd accent to include the game. Might take people out of it.

Look in the changelog, there's documented which voicetypes are supported. You have to hold it for at least half a second, I did it like this to not trigger any comment anytime somebody writes something into console or presses it accidentally There are several mods like this one, doesn't mean it's forbidden to create one more ^^ Especially, as most tend to be quite crude with their comments and besides Sexist Guards none of which I know has a Narrator. Even with holding it for half a second or more it doesn't seem to work, no mouth movement or sound plays. npc comments are fine though
IBAGadget Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 First off, I would like to say - very cool mod. The lines, while being sexist are a refreshing break from the overtly crude and derogatory lines that are included in other mods like this. Thank you for that. Now, a couple issues: - I have Narrator and PC turned on. I don't think I've heard a single comment line from either of them. That being said, I use DBVO (Dragonborn Voice Over) Bella for my PC which is likely causing an issue for the player comments. For the narrator, no idea. - what kind of priority did you give your lines when it comes to npc comments? It seems the only comments my followers make are from this mod, and they are very frequent. Priority and frequency need to be dialed back quite a bit. I'm even losing the followers own included location comments and idle lines in favor of the lines from this mod I am looking forward to seeing this mod expanded with more lines in the future.
MyDooM Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 I played the game and watched the comments during the sex scenes. They play when scenes trigger events from third-party mods. I saw them in scenes initiated by BaboDialogue, SexLab Pheromones, and TDF Aroused Rape. There was a funny bug in SexLab Pheromones. The mod works like this: after being infected with pheromones, people or creatures whose pheromones caused the infection can appear at any moment and start a scene of violence against the game character, and if there is a companion, against them as well. So, four draugr appeared, grabbed my companion and me, and started two scenes with each of us. The comments were played as usual for the player, but the aggressor's comments came from my female companion, who was being used by the draugr nearby.
IBAGadget Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 I discovered that I actually am getting the Narrator/Player thoughts comments - they are all being spoken by my follower who is occupying slot 1 in Nether's Follower Framework. Neither of my other two companions make any comments originating from this mod as far as I can tell.
lldisman Posted September 3, 2025 Posted September 3, 2025 I like the Selina voice the most! I know you're mostly focusing on the Narrator/PC, but would it be possible to implement a frequency slider for the NPC comments? I find they fire off too much for my liking compared to the vanilla lines. Great mod, I enjoy the immersion it adds & the voice lines are very high quality compared to what I'm used to with these types of mods. Thank you for sharing it.

OK, I have no idea how this issue with NFF or DBVO could come up, but it's interesting to know ^^ My mod plays those lines by starting a short scene with the dialogue. For the player/Narrator line, the speaker is specifically set to be the player, I really don't know how a follower comes to say the lines. The generic lines have a priority of 30 right now, which is the same as for all other comments as well. The issue could be, that they now all are set up to be idle lines, so they may be spoken at any time. If I switched them to be Hellos, this would drastically reduce the amount of lines from this mod, as only people "greeting" the player would comment. Another option could be a max range for an actor to be away from the player, so you don't have comments from the other end of a city anymore. My mod searches for the closest actor to the player, who is part of the Animating faction as well. Normally, that's not an issue, but I think I excluded creatures with the conditions. Now, the closest HUMAN actor was your follower, who was assumed to be the aggressor ^^ That's quite easy to fix, thanks for the report On 9/3/2025 at 10:04 AM, lldisman said: I like the Selina voice the most! MysticDaedra Posted September 9, 2025 Posted September 9, 2025 Will this mod always be purely a commentary mod, or will you implement some additional, non-verbal interactions with the PC as well? Gonna give this a try in my new playthrough I think, sounds very interesting!
MysticDaedra Posted September 9, 2025 Posted September 9, 2025 Got another one for ya: is this compatible with LMAO? I understand that LMAO also modifies guard commentary. While I'm asking, what about BaboDialogue, or any other mod that modifies guard dialogue?

I didn't make BaboDialogue but I'd guess even that would be fine. With LMAO basically all of my dialogues are brand new, nothing is overwriting existing dialogue. short of this mod providing major blocking dialogue that prevents normal dialogues from showing up, it should work 1

Mister X Posted September 12, 2025 Author Posted September 12, 2025 New version v0.0.2-a.7 What I want to know from you: do you like the new Narrator better than the old one? What about the way less frequent comments from generic NPCs?
Mister X Posted September 13, 2025 Author Posted September 13, 2025 New version v0.0.2-a.8 Yes, another new version. I didn't like the change to switch idle comments to greetings, it didn't fit their writing. So, with this version generic idle comments got a timer. You'll hear about 1 comment per ingame hour. IMPORTANT The voice file for a.7 still works fine, no new voice lines were added. Just merge a.8 and let it overwrite anything You have to disable and re-enable Generic NPC comments for the changes to take effect

waiyan Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 What's the difference between this mod and Babo Dialogues? Does anyone use them together?
Mister X Posted September 19, 2025 Author Posted September 19, 2025 45 minutes ago, waiyan said: What's the difference between this mod and Babo Dialogues? Does anyone use them together? As far as I get it from its description, Babo Dialogue seems to add mostly interactive dialogue, as in people approach you and you choose the answer. My mod does not offer this. Instead you'll get: loud thinking/talking to herself of your player character a Narrator who comments your surroundings randomly heard lines from NPCs (think of tavern chatter in the background) some greetings that have no influence whatsoever on the actual dialogue choices I don't know how much of this is included in Babo Dialogue, but I have designed my mod in a manner, that it should work fine with any other mod that adds comments to the world. The ony thing is, that you'd might hear similar comments from different mods.

A few lines are context sensitive and inform you in an immersive way that you are eligible for the more intrusive parts that are the main features of the mod. There are voice files for it around but the quality is not stellar. It is compatible with other mods similar to Sexist Commentary so I imagine using both this and Babodialogue should be fine. Mister X Posted September 24, 2025 Author Posted September 24, 2025 Heyho, just a small status update: I currently work on some technical stuff for this mod. This should result in two aspects: 1) A more general approach to set the pacing/intervals of NPC generic chatter and greetings from this mod 2) A more compatible way to play the Narrator and player char lines, without the need of the player char to be part of a scene The disadvantage of this: you'll probably need a new game. I'm sorry, though this mod is in alpha state for a reason... ^^ Oh, and the next release will have some new lines again, some for the player, some for the narrator. For this a new question: would you like to have the player thinking in a similar suggestive style as the Narrator comments or should the player think more explicitely (eg. "Should keep an eye out for bandits, I heard too many stories what happens to captured women" vs. "Should keep an eye out for bandits, I don't want to end up naked and chained in their hideout")
