Hi!

 

Between most Story Quests you have to do X amount of miniquests (set in the MCM). Normally you get 3 of them. If your MCM says something like 5, you have to complete 3, then sleep (inside the base), get another batch of miniquests and once you reached 5, the next story quest starts.

That scene involves a lot of characters who are moving into position while it plays. If it stopped, you should be able to restart it by talking to santiago again. Otherwise you could skip it with "setstage TRW_OC_MQ02_Piper 130".

When amber asks for whiskey you should get an objective to talk to douglas. And when you talk to him, Santiago should interrupt you. If that doesnt work type "SQV TRW_MQ03_Face" in the console and tell me what the "current stage" shows.

Thank you for this, I enjoyed it quite a lot.

 

The locations, the pathing, the transitions all good stuffs.

 

The humming during the chores is a favorite of mine for sure.

 

I liked the story and that there are different options and although you take us through the story, it doesn't feel like I'm in a corridor doing things only one way. I see by other comments that others have taken different paths, and that's cool and so much the better.

 

There are some different subplots starting to germinate and a possible love interest (although it was just the one conversation) angle.

 

Anyway, I really liked it and look forward to the coming chapters. 😁

Are you sure, you don't have any of the misc quests running? If you set the minimum to 2, the Business casualties quest must have started while you still had one miniquest running.

I'm really enjoying the mod, Heinz. The fact that they recognizes my girl as Candy is awesome. It feels like a natural extension of my character's adventures.

 

At one point I was thinking to myself, "Everyone here is so nice, except for that pervy. This is too full of 'thanks,' 'good job,' 'excellent,' but then we went to kick that poor bar owner's ass, and I was like, 'Damn!! Are we the baddies 😧...?'"

 

Enjoying the mod. I know it's not recommended, but I brought my clone to keep testing her.

 

If it helps, this script makes it so your shots don't turn your teammates against you. I say this because I accidentally shot Yasmine a couple of times.

Kudos, I enjoyed "Little Pawn" immensely and played it several times, from the first file drop, all the way through its most recent version. I keep it in my load order. This looks to be very well done also and is a plus that they(mods) "see" each other.  I took "Old Neighborhood" first (cause I'm a floozy) and am anxious to see where it goes(?)

 

I would like to ask, you mentioned could only play one storyline per playthrough? i.e. You can't go from one to the other upon finish of that line's quests?

Thank you for your kind words. Its nice to read, that you played and like my other mod :)

 

The Old Neighborhood part is not very long. It is just a sideproject, because I liked the idea, the Fenway Patrons are the main part. Yes, you cant join both or leave one in favor for the other. I made this mainly to avoid any conflicts or weird situations. Like starting as a prostitute in the old neighborhood, then join the fenway patrons and the next time you stumble over santiago, he puts you in debt, because you didnt bring your earnings from the last weeks 😁

I am just so happy that you did it and obviosly included some of the ideas, I been lobbying you for :)

 

I know its incomplete as yet, but even so you asked for reviews and ideas in this thread so I would be honored if you read my humble review and a couple of ideas:

- Loved the use of that Bar!,

Its such a great location! Polished, nice looking but not so futuristic. Grounded.

 

- Am very grateful that you had the entire guard, barman, boss and manager staff as men.

This really helps with immersion and realism IMHO, and also constitutes an additional sexual threat to her.

 

- Also perfect for realism is Hudson.

This is exactly how I imagine such a place would be (never been to one, but I read up on them on many magazine articles over the years). 

 

- The passing remarks by the guards are also perfect!

 

- Loved the scene when they are evaluating her body and it pans closely to her figure as they talk about her build. Very immersive!!

 

-Also thank you for making so many NPCs unqiue coded so I can change them with showlooksmenu. In my mind, Reynard, Douglas and others were simply too nice and good looking for this role "stock" so I changed them.

And of course Piper was critical to have the ability to change her.

 

I always have a improved look over vanilla for her that I use. . Always picture her as old enough to know what she is doing but young enough to still very much attract the attentions, wanted or otherwise, of the world of men.

So I always put an attractive improved look on her, that is mid to late 20s.

It was important for me to be able to change her looks in this game.

 

- I noticed you made all the staff level 50 with raised SPECIALs. Bravo!

Perfect immersion.

The agility and strenght of my level 5 character would never be enough to run away from the men of the staff, or resist any of them in any way, just like in the real world, even at the peak of my youth.

 

 

Some neutral things and ideas (which you said you dont mind   🤗

 

- It would be nice for realism if there was at least one more girl in the brothel.

Maybe you dont even have to write extra dialog for that, as perhaps they would not be allowed to talk to one another.

Or if they are allowed to talk to one another, some interesting dialog options could be there, like maybe she was purchased by the brothels form raiders that had noticed  a pretty farmgirl and snatched her up. Or she was voluntary too since she needed food and protection from the dangers outside etc etc.

 

-Or since/if there is no other girl there when you arrive, there could (should?) be a remark or even dialogue, with a staff member to explain why they had no girl when you arrived.

Maybe she got too old in the job or worn out before her time, from too much sex work, or escaped, or sold when she was not fresh enough anymore to meet the managers standards, etc etc.

Whichever explanation works best for you .  Just an idea.

 

! - Also here is a Big one; maybe the brothel could be run by some kind of group recently arrived  from far away and who now make their living in the Commonwealth exploiting the women from there?

Like Chinese Triad, or Caribbean Drug dealers switching to girl trading, or Mexican gangs, or the Bobrov brothers' Russian mafia buddies?

 

This might mean during install, an option to click which one to pick.

And I realize also more work for you, to make an option to have the men of the staff be all Asian or all black or all Latin (or if russian same as now)

 

And ..... in FPE the user can mark these NPCs to have their ethnicity also assigned for FPE purposes.

So if the PC gets pregnant from a staff member, it will be reflected in the babies looks and if different than her own, add another subtle dimension of exploitation.

 

I believe this would also add to replayability and a backstory.

 

-Maybe it could be a plot element that at some point she is forced to get her nipples pierced?

If done against her will, this could also be a subtle signal to the user, that her stay there, is slowly shifting from voluntary employee, to something else.

 

- Maybe the customers could be unique coded for showlooksmenu effects too?

 

! - Or instead, maybe the customers could be pulled from the raider pool also? So when they are relatively good looking and well dressed by wasteland standards they would likely be able to get girls for free on the outside.

There are many raider bases nearby , I imagine many raiders have enough social station in their gang to get a good share of caps from heists to visit, but not so high station to keep their own captured girls from the raids?

 

-I suggest to consider making the player charatcer be naked or naked plus minor jewelry, seems appropiate for this warm and protected indoor space that is not at all concerned about her dignity.

Also it removes any concerns about users having this clothespack, or that clothespack built.

 

- Shoes: Should she be allowed shoes here? High heels are attractive to men, but shoes give her the ability to escape, when no one is looking.

Yes she came as a volunteer, but I think we all know that status is changing..

Without shoes her feet would be cut up within a couple of blocks (even if she could avoid the nearby dogs,raiders, the yaoguai). Maybe she is only given shoes when she is allowed out by permission?  Just thinking aloud dont really have strong ideas one way or another

 

! - So maybe should she at some point get a collar? To ensure her return?

Maybe one that will force her to return if she leaves longer than 2 days by starting to shock her first once after 48 game hours . Then 1 hourslater, if she is sitll not back an hour later, once every 10 minutes until after a while it might be one every 5 minutes making it absolutely impossible for her to tolerate being away?

 

This way she can got to Diamond City to buy aid items, (lube?) or buy contraceptives, or visit the doctor, or drop off a baby in the baby drop off box, but not use that errand to escape.

 

-Maybe she should have at least one competent guard with her when she goes out? To keep her safe from getting killed in the dangerous world, or from getting stolen by Raiders for thier own fun, or leaving on her own. Maybe Hudson since he seems to enjoy her company the most.

 

! - Maybe when you tell Piper the truth during your "Trick Piper" quest.

She says when she goes out for stories she always has to take  a lot of risks anyway and thats she's been snatched up by raiders as a sex slave before, But she always escaped "after a few days" and that she is confident that "there is always a way to escape".

Then at the end of that conversation:

Piper: "How do you think I got Nat? At our age difference, you didnt seriosuly believe she was my sister, did you?"

Blue:" What?? Nat is your daughter? How did it happen?"

Piper: "How do you think it happend?! What, have I just been talking about? Sheesh, sometimes you can be so dense Blue"

 

! - I am happy and enjoyed that you included Piper in a manner I lobbied for.  Though I can tell you like her too much, so you stopped short of the more plausible route that Santiago was about to take with her. 

 

Even so, since your Deux Ex machina is so incredibly polite and respectful with her, even as he proposes to make her "his girl" (which by the way I almost missed and of course he doesnt mean marriage but Concubine)

 

He is clearly not a man used to being argued or negotiated with, by anyone, least of all a woman in his power.

 

So when Piper at one point says something like "you almost convienced me" , I think would have been very plausible that he would have lost his patience with her and responded with something less overly respectfuly, maybe somehting like this:

 

Him: "Listen Bitch, maybe I wasnt clear, but this isn't a negotiation!

You only get his chance because your hot and I always wanted to own that uppity reporter Slut from Diamond City!

Either be my fulltime fuckpiece, or I just hand you back to Santiago!

 

He will whip you until his arm is tired and then every man in this house is going to take turns on you.

More than once and not nicely.

 

When they are done with you for the night ,you get locked in a small cage and only taken out to be hosed off and then it all starts over.

And you will get that same "education" for the next 3 to 4 days, until he decides you are properly broken in:

By then, you will be begging him to be allowed start whoring for us!

 

And then you get a room, you take a couple of thousand men per year, to make me money.

Like your little whore "friend" down there.

 

So what will it be, a couple thousand men per year, or be my personal fuckpuppet? !?"

 

Piper: "Uhm, I will be happy and honored, to be your loyal girl, Sir"

 

Him: "I knew you were a smart Bitch! Now get naked and meet me in my bedroom.

And you better show me, you dont need an "education"!

- Also later Piper, could be using her higher status in the house to regularily haze the player character when business is too slow to keep the PC busy.

 

Piper could even carry, and use, a whipping crop for that.

I dont think anyone in the house would find anything worng with that.

Unless I really miss my guess, the men would probably be amused by it immensly, occasionally watching one beautiful woman whip another, out of revenge for being tricked.

 

Maybe this would be a thing that only happens if the player character tricked her, to the brothel, instead of telling her the truth?

- So in the mod I just wore shoes (vtaw wardrobe 9 Gal shoes which are very feminine sandals) and earrings form vtaw 9 and nothing else.

Maybe I will add the belly chain number 2 from vtaw 6 pack, or even nipple pierce 2 from vtaw 6 pack. (which is a short dangling chain) that seems to me like something that would amuse customers and staff ..

I can't tell much about the future content of that part for now. But it is my intention to exploit the higher status of piper, she becomes a spoiled girl of a mobster boss and her view on the player is different then usual. And the player should of course face consequences for a possible betrayal.

 

I personally like the idea of a forced return to the club. Right now there isn't enough content to justify this, so there is only the increasing debt for now.

OK, so I did the first few quests, then the hacking quest. Since then I've done 35 mini quests and nothing else is showing. There's nothing in miscellaneous quests so I don't know what's wrong. Is there a quest id list so I can sqs?

So you completed the first two quests (Bait on the line and Trigger Practice + Woman in the Middle) and no new quest is starting up, even after doing the set amount of miniquests?

 

I need to know some values, please enter these 4 commands in the console and tell me the results:

getglobalvalue TRW_MCM_FP_Tasks

getglobalvalue TRW_FP_TaskCounter

getglobalvalue TRW_FP_LastCompletedQuestIndex

I just played Fenway Patrons to what I think is the end for now (intermission yes?)

It kept me at the edge of my seat.

 

And even though its a Drama, did not require my fresh out of the vault character to do any big fights but get quests with plausible actions.

Great stuff also. :)

So you completed the first two quests (Bait on the line and Trigger Practice + Woman in the Middle) and no new quest is starting up, even after doing the set amount of miniquests?

 

I need to know some values, please enter these 4 commands in the console and tell me the results:

getglobalvalue TRW_MCM_FP_Tasks

getglobalvalue TRW_FP_TaskCounter

getglobalvalue TRW_FP_LastCompletedQuestIndex

getglobalvalue TRW_FP_CurrentQuestIndex

 

Also tell me what the Debug Notification in the upper left says when you enter this command:

cqf TRW_Main HandleTaskComplete

Okay just to be sure, which was the last story quest you finished?

Did you finish any other quests (except the hacker one) after trigger practice, like "Business Casualties" or "Fermenting trouble"? If none of these two, then do this:

Spoiler

Change the setting in the MCM to a minimum of three tasks. Then close the MCM.

Open the console and enter this:

set TRW_FP_LastCompletedQuestIndex to -1

 

and then try 

cqf TRW_Main HandleTaskComplete

 

If you also finished "Business Casualties" or "Fermenting trouble", i need to know because we need to enter the correct values.

I didn't finish or even start them, I did what you said and even ran another 3 quests, but nothing triggers and If i ask Wally he just says ''Not now''

Okay, I have no clue why the correction of the value didn't work or why it was on 1 at all. But I can give you the setstages (do only one, finish it, then the next) :

Fermenting Trouble:

Setstage TRW_SQ_BeantownBrewery 100

 

Downtown Collections:

Setstage TRW_SQ_Business_2 100

 

Whose Face is this anyway:

Setstage TRW_MQ03_Face 100

 

(Third Rail Echo will be started directly when Whose Face is this anyway is finished
