Does AAF fail to start generally or only with my mod? 

 

My Mod has some custom XMLs for Atomic Lust and SavageCabbage Animation Packs (I'll update my description). So you should install these packs, if you don't have them. But I doubt that's the reason, because AAF disables missing animations afaik.

 

If AAF fails generally, you should check this guide.

About to start second quest.

 

Having a fun time so far. Thank you so much for making this.

I felt badly I disappointed Wally since I had no skills at level 4, but I saw you said that we can tell him later, so I'll be doing that now that I made it to 5. Hopefully, that takes the sting out. 😁

 

While I can't imagine how much work you had to put into, I can say that I like it. The little touches are nice too: no gun? Here you go. Don't know how to get there? Let's go together. Remember where we met, go there. Much nicer than dumped and go figure it out, and I feel it fits with the story.

 

Not sure it makes a dif, but with Hudson, I just covered up his...advances. I am not sure what he said, it whipped by too fast for me to catch it.

 

Also, I don't want to come off as ungrateful or nitpicky, but if I see things that may be a bug or unintended, do you want to be made aware?

 

I noticed the songs only play for a few seconds and stop and can't really be restarted. This could be a me problem because this does happen with one song in NR, but the rest there play fine. Maybe there are multiple ways of calling or playing a song? Or maybe it's just me 🤷‍♀️

Wally asks for the skills that determine "classes" like thief (need pickpocket 2 and locksmith 2), hacker (Hacker 2) and infiltrator (Sneak 2). If you have one or more of these unlocked, you get additional ways to solve some storyquests (thief and hacker), an additional miniquest (Infiltrator) and a full quest (Hacker). It is important that you speak with wally about this, after you took the perks for it. I plan to expand these classes in the future (and possibly add more, like demolition expert and also combat related - everything optional).

 

I am not sure what songs you mean, because i only start these very short basegame "dread" tracks. Or do you mean the personal radio integration? My mod just uses the frequency number of it, it doesnt do anything else with the radio or the tracks.

 

Oh yes, please tell me when you find a bug or weird scenes, so I can fix it.

You mean that the player can join both factions at the same time? This is not planned. They are supposed to have different stories for the player and they wouldn't fit together.

Thank you! The showers are not the original showers that CWSS works with. I have made new activators which use the the model of the showers and put a script for commonwealth moisturizer on them. But you can remove the shower from the playerhome and place a CWSS one instead (if CWSS has buildable showers).

Playing the old neighborhood gang, prostitute path.

I seem to be having trouble with the voice files add on, I can't hear them very well, at times the language is garbled and I really don't know what was said except for the captions displayed.

The club radio is louder than the voices, distracting for me and I can't seem to find a way to shut it off, would it be possible to add a volume control and a shut off in the MCM?

I really only listen to the radio on long trips across country as I personally find it distracts me from what is happening, dialogue scenes etc.

Love what I have played so far, Thank You for sharing this with us!

Thanks for your feedback. You can turn the radio off. Just activate the radio next to the door. I know that some voices could use some improvement.

I was tasked to find a toolbox at Milton General Hospital but the quest marker was at Mass Fusion Containment Shed. The toolbox was there so the text for the quest was wrong.

Thanks for the report. The quest should normally check the locationname which is the closest to the item. I will look into that, I dont think its fun to manually search in an area from Milton to the Mass Fusion Containment :D

Some fetch daily tasks are very hard to complete at low level (for example I had one at the castle at level 5 with plenty of mirelurk waiting my girl). I suppose it's intentional, so our girl get some failure point which would have more importance when the consequences to failure will be implemented ?

 

If I may suggest something, it's an excuse for fast travel (like the scooter in Nuka Ride) which could be available after a certain number of successful quests, and perhaps removed if too many failed tasks. Indeed actually nothing prevent from fast travelling ;) but it would add immersion if it's not too much work for you.

 

Otherwise for the moment the mod runs well and I appreciate your work. Thanks

That is not working for me, I have radio volume at 0 in settings, tried the console stereo, and the radio in the post by the bar. Will try again in case I am wrong.

I came to the commonwealth with permission from the Over boss, (NR), there was no dialogue (don't know if it is implemented yet) on the fact that my player is the OB's Bitch, and should report back in a given amount of time, no dialogue about NR Porn Star, which every client should want to test drive, Maybe an enema machine in the bathroom too.

I do have a suggestion about the clients, I am getting a lot of "no I don't need anything now" no drinks, no sex, some want a dance, when done there is no payment, and then they do not want to have fun with the player..... This, in my mind should be changed, because this is a club to make money for the gang, I should be able to tell one of the gang "we have a freeloader, and get them tossed out, the dance should cost caps, they should have a drink minimum, (Sir we have a two drink minimum to be here, if you don't want any services... IDK what do you think?

I am spending a lot of time running up and down the stairs chasing the clients and they don't want anything, in 8 hours of playtime I served two drinks, had sex two times, did six pole dances which got the gang nothing.

Sorry I am rambling on, you get my point, Maybe you could collaborate with @JB. and have the OB send her to work there, I would like to see dialogue that she is an experienced Porn Star, optional to having a NR career of course.

Ok I was wrong, the console stereo did turn the music off.

No shower in the club either.

Is there a secure storage for the player that does not reset and lose the players items?

For the fetch task I only excluded the impossible locations i was aware of and the glowing sea. Every else location that is "doable" but possibly dangerous is allowed for now, as long as they still can be done somehow (like with sneak or a stealthboy for example) and let the player decide which risk they wanna take for that. While testing, I could not see all results myself, because its randomized. If you or other players find impossible or really too hard locations, I will of course exclude them, too. 

 

I will think of a fast travel option. I have placed a few xmarkers across the commonwealth which i use a lot to do different things, so I could use them for that too :)

8 hours in the club should be an achievement :)

 

Personally, I prefer that there is a downtime between clients and also clients who refuse, although a little fine-tuning wouldn't hurt. But there needs to be more for players to do in general. My focus has been on the Fenway Patrons part, but in the future, the club part will also be expanded. Any suggestions are welcome.

 

I have decided to use the NR Names as an Origin only in the Fenway Patrons part. It doesn't feel right to me to have a character from a mod I love end up as a prostitute in my mod.

 

The towel in the womans restroom has a cleaning function, the dressers in your room are set to not respawn.

I play with horizon, so levelling is slower, but I have no problem with almost impossible quest, like I said, our girl can't always succeed. She returned to the base and said she couldn't complete the task. The boss was a bit disappointed, like he was when she reported she couldn't buy the brewery! 

 

For the mail delivery some deskfiles were evident, some others harder to figure, but she finally found them. 

 

I also completed the "woman in the middle". I like quests like this one,

Some of the fetch tasks are definitely challenging. Is there a way to always bring someone from the gang or does that defeat the purpose?

I was unable to find the Chem Box at Wilson Atomtoys Corp HQ. It looks like the marker is outside below some rusted metal at the front. I went inside, but wasn't able to locate it inside either, the marker still looking like it is outside.

 

I completed it by setstage stuff.

The items of the regular Fetch Quest should always be outside. But the marker is set to only point to the general area, not the item itself. So you have to look around for that item somewhere around.

 

You can change that via the mcm, then the questmarker will directly point to the item. But only on the next quest. If you cant find the item on a running quest, the Triggerwoman Manager Holotape (can be obtained by the MCM) has an option at "fixes" to switch the marker to the item.

I did the "fermenting trouble" as a repeatable daily task. Got the beer crate, made deal with Tom, now my pipboy says "deliver the beer to the base". There is no marker in the base, I talked with every guys there, even with yasmine, nobody asks for the crate ?

 

When I got the beer crate, I did another fetch quest, which unlocked "downtown collections" before I could return to the base, so maybe the problem commes from that ?

 

For the quest "fermenting trouble", the stage is 230

Hopefully i just forgot to point to the objective. Try this: Go to the basement in the Fenway Patrons Hall. When you go down on the right of the stairs (or on the left if you face the stairs) should be a single beercrate and when you get close you get an option like "place beercrate". Then the quest should complete.

i just finish the "business casualities" quest, i return to the base and to advance to the next story quest i have do do the repetable quest right? now the problemi is , how i can do it, i dont have nothing in the maylbox outside my room, and no npc make me start anything, i run in a bug? or im forgotting something?
