Really no feedback from ya all scallywags?

Doing a bug fix update tomorrow probably midday for the alpha, nothing at all serious this is basically going off at about 99.99999% perfect compared to what I was expecting

xD Typically I had PC problems so couldn't play it when I intended to  :angry: I'm on a new PC now & so far, non of the same issues have reared their ugly head. So, with any luck I'll be playing it soon & will give you some feedback  :)

ya itl never be scanned, asked on the author forums and robin confirmed nothing over 250mb gets scanned.. they are just going to have the thing make a note of it next update cause right now it just says unscanned basically

And yes it should detect player spells and have a list available to cast etc for them, limited list but still, BUT AMG

Please if you make a dungeon like this, make it optional... for those that want to do it.

Me I've actually stayed away from RPG's for many a years because of turn based combat.

Only in the last 8 years or so have I started playing RPG's again, mainly things like Fable 2, Fable 3, Amalur, Skyrim, etc...

Then again I mainly roll in FPS and TPS (third person shooter not tisue paper solutions) type games... so turned based was always a turn off.

That and not being able to jump, what the hell was up with that???

Jumping in video games has been around since Donkey Kong!!!

Anyhow, I'm still having fun with Discworld v.5!!!

Oh, I found out that one dungeon that I was lagging in was actually an available dungeon (posted in the nexus thread about that).

I just had to wait for the idiots of the watch to ask me to go on another adventure.

And the second time around it didn't lag. But then again I only had the game running for like 20 minutes before starting that quest. The first time I hit that dungeon (when it lag'd like crazy) I had been playing skyrim for over 3 hours (mainly exploring disc world and what not). So it might have lag'd out the first time cause skyrim didn't clean up memory or something... I'm not sure.

Oh hay, for Halloween could you maybe have an attack of the Bard Zombies.... Maybe it would give you something to fire the watch's canon at... just a thought.

Lol nothing new will be added till Alpha 1.0 in a few months, and itl be like 20+ more quests

Everything in the mod is optional besides those first 3 quests, had to do a intro somehow :P

Too bad Creation Kit doesn't have an easy way to deal with fixed cameras. Another thing I hate about that engine...

Anyway, for a few second I remembered my times with the PS1 and FFVII

Incorrect mwahahaha

It now has a option for static camera, or dynamic in the battle scenes

The CK is my bitch at this point ;)

If it can't do something I will damn well beat it into submission

 

Besides health bars. Still working on health bars without skse

Also the quest will involve helping avalanche stop a magika reactor from draining atuin

Cloud, tifa, barret, red, aerith, sephiroth, CID, chocobos, and shinra are gonna make a appearance

Got semi perms for chocobos. Got to go crazy when I get home and get perms for shittons of other ff7 assets but ya this will be a blast

The combat scripts are now dynamic with random enemy encounters and a few thousand fight variations as well as boss fights. That was 2 hours of work in the vid as a test. Wait till you see the final product lol

Just thought I might mention this.

If you have Skyrim Solutions v2 installed and have become an Orc play thing.... then don't get close to the midget orc's in Discworld.

That combo tends to crash Skyrim, I guess sex with a foot tall orc is just out of the question...

I am still trying to get a custom mesh and shit for those 'goblins' as it were and then they would have their own race but still thats priceless

Update for people, the mod is still being worked on though with the holiday season and every game publisher releasing a whole years worth of games in a span of 2 weeks I have been at a loss compared to my usual sprint speed so far on the mod

 

Probably just start a new thread when I am ready to cast Voice Actors for phase 2, which should be before christmas

Sorry was def MIA for a while, production is about to go into full swing again for phase 2, don't know where we will be after that but I hope to have only the color fo magic questline left to do after this for completion, so few months yet still lol at the least
