I get the freezes as well, on 1.65 for 640.  Likewise it is reduced when using Crajjj's 1.03 TNG patch scripts, but doesn't go away entirely.

 

Out of curiosity, do you both use Dint999 hair on your characters?  I do myself.  Trying to isolate to avoid the problem, and I know that with Crajjj's Smooth Expressions mod, it just doesn't work if the user has Dint999 hair on the character.  So trying to track down some commonalities. 

 

I expect if EVERYONE was having it happen, it would be more commonly reported, so presumably it's related to other mods.  Also, in retrospect, I don't think I've ever had a freeze up occur from a non-player scene (none of which would have had Dint999 hair on them)... but since those scenes are less prevalent, it may be unrelated...

 

I'll be testing a new load with that in mind, see what happens.

What's wrong with Smooth Expressions and dint999 hair?
The only problem i had with dint was the facial expressions stopping working, but an update to his hair packs fixed the problem.I seem to remember it was related to a Trishape NIF file or something like that.
I'll try to do a test like you did without SMP hair to see if that makes a difference.

I also tested GT - Softbody v1.6 and SMP Armor scanning bugfix for SE 1.5.97 in the same time.

Well, it keeps freezing more or less quickly.

Dint999 has always worked well for me since I've used it, but saw a post about it breaking expressions in Smooth Expressions mod.  Tried it out (non-hentairim/ivdt build) and confirmed - if dint hair was equipped, expressions didn't work in a SL scene.  Swapped to a different SMP hair, and worked again.  Thanks for the tip about there being updates to it, I never had considered it was getting them, so I went from 1.10 to 1.12.  👍

 

I've been playing around with HentaiRim since its release, and IVDT hentai long before... I've tried, but can't quit them... so the scene freezing is pretty frustrating and want to nail it down.  But it has been happening since release for me - before Mu, so that isn't related.  I played around with softbody for about 5 minutes... nice in theory, but I don't like a body constantly doing a jello jiggle (SMP wind).  Nice in theory though.

 

The annoying thing with the freezes is it's so inconsistent.  I've had it happen on the first scene of a random light low-action 1v1, but most reliably on busier 4v1 - when it gets in a kind of delay before the hang.  Sometimes you can kill the SL scene before it goes full freeze... others everything just stops. First scene or twentieth... Was hoping I had something with the Dint, but if it was still locking up for you with non-SMP hair at that... must be something else.  The struggle continues.  :)

Hey, has anyone else found an issue with expressions closing the mouth during BJ scenes. I know before the last update there was no issue, but on the current version whenever that type of scene is called my PC keeps closing her mouth, which messes with the whole look of the scene.

Oh legend!  Was minutes away from starting up a fresh game with what I knew to be a broken attempt with adding SLU+ in, just in case the functional upgrade to SL 1.66b would help.  This way I can try clean without a likely contamination.  It looks like it's just the sslAlias script that gets overwritten from HentaiExpressions, and might not break anything (aside from specific SLU+ functions that don't have to be enabled)... but that's a guess.

 

Happy to try it out, hopefully this helps lots(?) of people.  I really appreciate it.  :)

So tried on a new game (SL 1.65, Hentairim + Expressions 1.1.9 June20).  Initially started out my normal routine, then did some scene cycle testing via Fever Dreams to start quick and varied events.  Had a scene freeze on the 3rd scene.  Naturally I didn't have logs running.

 

So I started up logs and restarted.  Again, naturally, nothing hung over the next 1:45 of running scenes.  I did have one animation set that would only advance if I opened up Sexlab MCM or console - spacebar advance didn't work.  Console looked like that scene didn't have HentaiRim tags associated - perhaps was choking on the fallback stuff..?

 

Anyway, the log I produced over the 1:45 was 64mb (63,815kb).  Spamming endless:

Anyway - tired.  bed.  Appreciate your efforts again, wanted to pass back some info before crashing.  :)

A bit updated patch reuploaded. Testing it also. Seems good so far.

 

Regarding expressions - too bad it's merged with the traits game. I can't make it work somehow..enjoyment stays same no matter what. 

Also having slu+ is quite important for me to help with alignment and other features. Ivdt works pretty well in parallel to slu+.

I've just completed two sessions, playing about twenty scenes in a row, and haven't had a single freeze yet.
Thanks crajjjj for the patch. I'll continue testing by starting a new game as soon as i have time.

Yeah, with the previous IVDT Hentai, I ran with SLU+ and Hakkey's.  Worked quite nice.  The traits addon became a one-or-the-other decision.  But expressions are the personal priority for me (audio close second), so it's kinda all or nothing now.  Now that expressions are working for all scenes though (not just player), it's difficult to go back to IVDT Hentai.  Really hoping solutions can be finalized.  :)  🤞

 

Thanks for the updated patch, gonna give it a go.

Ran a bunch of scenes again with the new updated patch.  No hangs, but again, freezing is pretty inconsistent.  I'll go ahead and play as normal, and pass along if I do get any new freezes.

 

Errata though:  I notice with the updated patch, player resistance is reset with each new scene.  As such, mind break essentially is removed.  Once I realized that, I re-enabled tongue/ahego.  It looked like that reduced (not removed) the incidence of the tongue equip errors in the log I was running, and seemed to have smoother running in the scene (possibly placebo or scene related though).  But judging on how other features seem to produce errors when disabled, it may just be how the scripts run and report - produce errors even if it doesn't technically cause problems.  But the error spam may result in extra overhead.  Dunno, theory crafting here...

 

Thanks again, hopefully no new freezes to report in the future.

 

Edit:  Once I restarted my game after this post, no changes but restart, player resistance was working as expected.  When I re-disabled tongue/ahego (editing config while in-game), they were still present.  So while I assumed changes to config would take place on the next scene, they actually only take place on game restart.  So my thoughts above are 100% placebo.

I think the freezing problem is solved thanks to crajjjj again :). I've also done a lot of testing with a new game and no more freezing.

 

Now that the freezes are over, i tested the tongues and armor swapping options and i encountered two other problems: the first is that i receive the notification "tongue 7 received" but nothing appears (I'm using Fill Her Up 2.03).

 

The second, which is much more annoying for me, is the armor change, which i like very much and which worked very well on the old IVDT. Now the change is done correctly at the beginning of the animation, but i receive 5 or 8 lewd items in the inventory and in the notification, and at the end of the scene, the non-lewd clothing doesn't return.

 

Have other people encountered these problems or is it just me?

If the tongue isn't appearing when it gets equipped, it is likely due to how animation items don't always display during free cam.  If you expect something should be shown, but isn't, toggle off and back on free cam.  That should update and show as expected.  Can't comment on the armor swap function though.

 

Lucky you don't have any problems with FHU 2.03.  Whenever I have tried it, it bugs out after keyed expulsion - does some strange control thing where crosshair and actual movement/aim are way distorted (visually aim up 45 degrees, actual aim is up 90).  Tried all sorts of stuff, no fix I've found or seen.  Methods to reset the problem, but it re-breaks each time.  So I'm still using 1.96 with it's user fixes.

You must be right about the tongue. it's like armor swap function; i had to switch to free camera after the change, otherwise it wouldn't work.
With the ahego function in Sexlab Utility Plus, it worked in free camera, so i didn't think it would be any different with IVDT mod. I'll do without it then...
I'm more concerned about the issue with armor swapping. It's a deal-breaker for me. i'll have to resign myself to going back to the old version, hoping a fix will be released for this problem.
I haven't tested the new version of Fill Her Up enough yet. I was on the same version as you in my old game and i'm starting a new one. So far, i haven't seen any problems with 2.03.
I don't enable automatic deflation; it was causing me problems.
It's true that all of Baka's mods are good, but you always have to expect things to not work well, and he doesn't fix things with updates, but he adds more problems most of the time)= but it's still playable :)

Osmel specifically did some kind of workaround to fix the anim objects in the more recent versions of SLU+.  Reading about it in that thread is where I learned about the free cam toggle to fix stuff.  It looked like Shimizu was going to look into possibly patching this for SLU+.  Would be nice if that happened, lots of people really cling to it, with good reason.  Lots of tweaks and fixes in there.

 

Yeah, I love the idea of all of Baka's mods - it's just the implementation always has something hinky that just doesn't work, breaks, doesn't recover/engage, or has some random invisible requirement/conflict that is impossible to track down (or multiples of the above).  BaboDialog is particularly great and immersive in theory, just wish it actually worked correctly.

I took a look at your .esp changes - looks like mostly removing the male high/low priority references.  One thing though, is that the .esp of each voice pack is different, as they are each referencing the different sound files of each voice pack (not all have the same mix or quantity of files to reference).  So unfortunately the esp update is mostly going to chop out the available sounds for many of the packs - looking at the esp you used, it has quite a few fewer audio file references than the pack I use (Mukuro).

 

I did apply the changes to my esp though.  then let it overwrite the one in your newest patch.

Completely smooth for me now.  Best runs I've seen.  Full range of expression.  Good sound.  SMP hair.  SMP mouth. Set at reasonable.  

 

NOTE to future self;  freeze that stack when you achieve something that good.  Don't mess with it.  If you do; boom!

Thanks for that update - didn't notice that voicepacks replace the esp. (My load order was a bit broken).

I didn't remove any reference, but the ESP is not relevant anyway - removed from the patch. Voicepacks have all the needed references

id say about half the time I'm having the issue that my lewd version of my outfit doesn't get removed or unequiped after scene end.  Not sure why.

Hello crajjjj,
I just ran some more tests for the armor swap issue without your fix, and it works as expected, but not with your patch, which does fix the freezing issue :)
Without your patch, the armor swaps correctly without adding 8 items to the inventory, but i freeze right in the middle of the scene.
Do you have some time to spare trying to fix this last issue?
I imagine the problem comes from the IVDTSceneTrackerScript script.
Tell me if you need a log.

The symptoms are:
At the beginning of the animation, i get eight armor change notifications, and i find eight lewd armors in my inventory at the end of the animation. Normally, the lewd armor is removed from my inventory at the end of the animation.
The armor doesn't return to its normal version at the end of the animation.

Hmm... tried out SL util patch, works flawlessly untill expressions are added. Then its honestly hard to tell what is going on, SLSO meters for enjoyment barely make any sense. Cant say if speed controls work either, maybe they are too subtle, or maybe it doesnt work. IVDT+ SL Util plus was my old setup and im happy to roll with it if i cant get expressions fly, albeit broken being moved to expressions file is a bummer in that case.

 Have anyone got the full setup of hentairim to work on Sl Util plus? Perhaps im missing something, guess shock therapy describes it as in docs for Traits and Expressions, but im kinda lost at what is going on in a scene even without enabling game.

IVDT+ SL Util plus was my old setup and im happy to roll with it if i cant get expressions fly, albeit broken being moved to expressions file is a bummer in that case.

 Have anyone got the full setup of hentairim to work on Sl Util plus? Perhaps im missing something, guess shock therapy describes it as in docs for Traits and Expressions, but im kinda lost at what is going on in a scene even without enabling game.

Compatible with SLU+ . Fixed tongues. Fixed anim speedup. Tons of minor fixes.

Added a 0.5-second cooldown for hotkeys to avoid spamming freeze

Game tweaks - support for masturbation anims

 

Enable printdebug (different json files for different submodules) for a detailed log of what's going on - now it writes logs to  "...\Skyrim Special Edition\Logs\Script\User\Hentairim.0.log"

 

This config helps with untagged anims:

Remove LDI from "blockpcorgasmtags" (Hentairim Enjoyment Expressions Traits->Config.json)

enablepcgameautoplay=1 (Hentairim Enjoyment Expressions Traits->HentairimGame.json)

enablegameuserinput=1 (Hentairim Enjoyment Expressions Traits->HentairimGame.json)
