you have to use the narc file to patch the game, if my memory does not fail...

But of course, you need to use Deltapatcher to patch the moemon sprites into a base game version first.

Just found out about these Moemon and I love them. I would love to contribute to nudeing them since it seems like a great way to practice my sprite work. Here's my first attempt at Venusaur. I would love some feedback, also I have no clue how to replace the sprites in the rom hacks with new ones. If anyone could help or point me in the right direction that would be awesome!

This looks pretty good, in my opinion.
Is there any chance that you will try your hands on the japanese sprite sheets for Moemon as well?
The official Moemon project doesn't support japanese sprites because of drama that occured in the past, but it would be nice seeing the japanese sprites receiving the same treatment.

I remember that there is an old thread where the japanese sprites were posted.

You might want to join the official Moemon Discord Servers for further sprite sets.
I don't know how up-to-date the japanese sprites are. If you ask nicely about the latest set or where to find them, you might be lucky and find someone to help with that. I think a lot of Moemon designs are directly taken or inspired by japanese artists on Pixiv or Pinterest.

Maybe we can combine these with the current Venusaur sprites.
I remember that Venusaur was one of the ones already edited in the thread.

I'm happy to see someone back on this project.

Just be sure you read through all six pages so you don't accidentally do a sprite that has already been completed.

Hmm, I kinda think I like the ones I'm working with now more. I'll probably work my way though gen 1 slowly over time.

Feel free to. I'll post a batch of what I'm able to make every now and then. Like I said before though I could use a hand if anyone knows how to get them into the actual rom hacks.

The sprites from my last post are probably somewhat outdated by now. It would probably be better to directly ask on the Moemon servers and hope that someone will lend a hand with acquiring the latest sprite sets.

Yeah, I've been making the occasional sprite for a fair few years now. Recently I've been trying to really up my level a bit though.

Can you post the old one? I'm now learning there are quite a few variations. I'm open to mixing and matching. I'm also maybe only going to do gen 1 for now. If I even finish those since there are a fair few. Maybe I'll do more if I feel like it.
